The drawing and painting are traditionally done. You are right. This is an unmasking in photoshop. However, the unmasking is unmasking a scan of the traditional watercolor. There's no photoshop color being added here. There were about 4 or 5 watercolor scans at different stages just as the drawings were scanned at various stages. Thanks for looking.
John-Paul - You're right. This video is a reveal of layers. I've think that I've tried to represent the video as such. It does however show the various stages of a watercolor, and the reveal is really just flair for effect.
The video is just to get an idea of how to traditionally paint an architectural rendering. It's merely an unmasking of photoshop layers, but it does show how one would build up colors and values.
