My most requested park after Disney and Universal is always a sea-front, beach or boardwalk style park. So, let's carry on the Planet Coaster realism series with a park that smooshes together Blackpool Pleasure Beach with Adventureland at Southend On Sea.
So far, we have:
Episode 1 - Entrance, Turnstiles and a Wooden Rollercoaster
Episode 2 - S&S Free Fly, main entrance chair swing and the plane ride.
Episode 3 - Indoor Log Flume / Dark Ride Like River Caves
Episode 4 - A small but very spoopy Ghost Train!
Episode 5 - B&M Floorless Coaster
Episode 6 - Giant Inverted Boomerang
Episode 7 - Junior / Older Woodie
Episode 8 - Mack Hyper Coater

OK, I've now RIDDEN Hyperia and, yeah, this version proper slaps. It's pretty true to what it should be, even if I hadn't ridden Hyperia when designing it!! Well done me. haha.
how long did you wait, nearly 7 hours for me but wow worth every minute
@@OllieCoaster wow. 7 hours?! I did single rider and that was 3 1/2 the first time and 2 the second..
You did NOT!? I'm so envious 😮
@@OllieCoasteronly 2.5 for me 😂
In the plaza across from coaster entrance..you should put in log flume...you need water ride💯💯😍😍🔥🔥and have it intertwined with rides
Errm.. the indoor log flume from episode 3 says hi.
Seriously though.. the log flumes are too big for the space I have.. the minimum track length, even with limits disabled is too big to work with.
Love this coaster. Also, I totally caught myself using a Chachoism the other day. In the middle of a Facebook post I said 'that's October me's problem' lol
It was only a matter of time before I entered the zeitgeist :D
@@Nerdchacho Since it's Facebook, I think it's the Zuckergeist
Now that was a smooth ride! Very nice.
This is so awesome after having an amazing weekend at dollywood this is nice to come home to watch
howdy, long time listener first time caller. I really like this particular park design and this coaster is a home run. I think "Nautilus" would be a good name for it, I feel it matches that single-word gravitas that Hyperia has. can't wait to see how you wrap the whole area together, seems like a real fun doozy! thank you for your work
"Sea Strider" could be a dramatic name for the hyper
This is really cool. Love it.
superb coaster and a really clean and tidy looking plaza area. we've finally got our hyper!!
You have the hyper!
Well..
Yes. Hyper. Shhh.
@Nerdchacho I voted for the big one style for obvious reasons but what can you do! 😂
You gotta call it the Bigger one! Lol or Seagull!
The junior coaster is going to be called The Little One..
@@Nerdchacho haha perfect!
I love it Chaco! Coming along swell now :D
love it
Amazing mate
i realy miss the build timelapse. I notice that i watch your videos much less becase of this. Before i realy lookt out for the next video..
Epic video
Fantastic job! Well done! I've got two name suggestions: 1. Riptide Runner 2. Ocean Screamer
Name I think is big Blue.
I think this is one of your best coasters yet. This feels like a realistic coaster that would be created and I like how it fuses different hyper coaster elements from hyperia and rivals aus. I think with this coaster being the main attraction it needs a bit more theming as the park would've dumped alot of their hardwork into it. I'm going to go with simple name but, to me this would be ideal being in the uk. Big Blue! Now, with this coaster being one of tallest in the uk and being by the sea, I thought of a name here because blue whale honestly makes sense here with a large scale coaster in this region. I did big blue because this is what your big one from pleasure beach was to be and blue because you used blue supports while keeping with the whale theme. You can then have a have the lift lift hear the sounds of the blue whale with custom music then I was thinking of how you can add water effects and such but, oh well I'm trying here. Love this coaster tho is in my top 5 of your coasters all time created.
I agree with you on all of your first points. Now I've seen Hyperia in person and seen how it can be stylised, I might go back and revisit it later on. This was filmed 3 weeks ago, so the IRL area hadn't been completed by then.. I quite like the Hyperia area in fairness.
The Modernist: a sleek glide of the future.
Name: The Giant
Also, Great Video
Great coaster! I have a name idea, maybe swooping seagull? Since it’s near the sea and it…. Swoops?
Great coaster, love it. Gutted I didn't manage to get on the sibling as they announced they had broken it once I was there
I am on park today too and it is a really strange atmosphere around. It is totally different to Friday and there is no work going on at the site. Liferally deserted..
@Nerdchacho the park cleared out pretty quick yesterday once they officially announced Hyperia was going be closed for the full day, so not surprised it's pretty empty today
SkyStriker for the name.
Raye is bae!
🎉🎉
If Hyperia whistles in the wind, I can only imagine what this would sound like by the sea 😂
She wasn't making ANY sound today. Bless her.
How about a name of Seawinder? I love the name of Sidewinder, and I thought that Seawinder would be a fun way to mix things up.
A question to the Air time experts: Where would I get the most air time? Camel back, ejector, parabolic, or other? Assuming we talk about noninverting elements...
Well, there are 2 main types of airtime: Ejector and Sustained. Ejector airtime are the quick, sudden changes of height at speed. So, Saw The Ride, or going over a hump back bridge in a car travelling at speed, for example.. Sustained airtime is achieved when you can prolong the floaty feeling for longer. This is achieved using parabolic - or camel back - airtime hills. They are typically taken at around 30pmh at the top and they gradually lower then increase the speed over the crest of the hill.
So, short answer is a parabolic / camel back hill. BUT you can combine them with double up / downs to mix it up a bit.
and in 2024, we also have lateral airtimes to consider too.. outerbank turns etc.
So, it completely depends on what you're going for in your coaster.. there is no right or wrong answer.
I like the name "silver storm" if you want to use it 😊
ROYAL MARE
Veltura for the coaster name!!!!
I'm a bit confused. I thought hyper coasters in PlanCo can't invert, but you had that second Immelman loop that did a full inversion. Can you clarify, is this a coaster than PlanCo doesn't consider a Hyper but actually is one irl?
You can use the option to remove track limits in the game options. That opens up some possibilities for usually non-inverting coasters to invert... but.. there is no rule about hypers not inverting in PlanCo; especially on the Vector track? Most coasters in game can be hyper and most coasters in game can invert.
whys this got more theming than hyperia and icon combined lol
A least this one didn’t close after opening day
We will take that as a win. In seriousness, it does break down a lot in game..
name suggestion centurion
A solid gatekeeper type name, that...
How did you make the vector trains more than 5 cars?
Make the station longer and increase the cars in the coaster options. You MIGHT need to enable "disable track limits" and "more car swapping" options (but I don't think so)
@@Nerdchacho thanks man
what coaster did u use?
and is it a dlc
if so what one?
thanks 👍
It was the vector with a lift hill for this one. I think it was magnificent rides pack.. I think... I can't remember 🤣
Name it icarus
