Woo, baby! With Resident Evil 3 Remake coming out soon, I was inspired to do a detailed makeup! I love being able to think about absolutely nothing in the world, other than what I am painting. Makeup has always been a stress reliever for me, since before things like this on UA-cam were a thing, before the internet demanded videos, and when I was just an extremely shy teenager sitting in my room and turning myself into characters. no idea who this nemesis dude is, but my man looks like he's havin' a rough time in quarantine. watching lex do this, when she started applying the grey-ish colour for the skin, I was like "oh that's a kind of nice colour." and then she did that mottled texture thing and my brain went from "that's paint" to "that's skin and I Do Not Like It" faster than I thought possible

I feel like lex is the only UA-cam that I can really think of that it actually makes sense for her to be on all these different platforms. UA-cam for the tutorials/time lapses, tiktok loves bright flashy makeup and her looks can easily be set to music, a lot of her characters are from video games so it shared a common thread with twitch, plus she can do streams of her doing the body paint or stream while in costume. And Instagram/Twitter/Facebook for all the people who don’t really care about the process and just want to see the final result

Love your wonderful art. I also had to laugh because UA-cam gave me a commercial that I watch half way though in the middle of your video. It was a teddy bear of guy in some sort of srubs and bubble wrap trying to sell back muscle knot roller thing. Going from magic art, to a friendly and boring thing and then back to watching an artist do her magic of turning herself into someone else’s is somewhat funny to me.

Love for Resident Evil was the first thing my brother and I had in common. I grew up watching the movies and playing the games. My mom hated that I, a girl, was into the same gorey things he was. Now I got my little sister into it 😂😂
