Robbie this is a wonder to see! I shot my first thousand rated round in my last tournament and I cried. I know I had it in my skills but couldn't put it all together. I just had to believe! You got this and I can't wait to see you achieve this!
Absolutely love the concept, and love getting to watch more competitive and focused content! It does really surprise me that a -14 down at that course is 1000 rated, is that common for pitch and putt courses to rate well?
The big thing that makes it hit hard is how much the strokes swing for on a pitch and putt. Each stroke was about 15 rating points. So the 988’ish we shot looks like a 940 if I just miss 3 putts. It looks easy when you’re parking lots of holes like we did in the middle stretch, but if you’re having to make 20 footers all day it feels ALOT harder!
Looking forward to the rest of the series! This start is a great video to show the difficulty of playing a full 18 hole round at your best, and this round is probably a confidence builder for the next! Looking great Robbie
I think UA-camrs fall into two categories Content creators who are fun And people who are top tier in what they do. I would love to see you do more top tier stuff which focuses on being better than me. Looking forward to the series
Great to see a new side (to me) of your game and being able to root with you during the video. Still a crazy good round and super fun to watch. Gonna love watching this new series from you
Great stuff Mr UA-camman, Love to see how easy it is to throw a frisbee. Wish I could be as smooth and buttery as you are. Well done, can't wait to see the rest of the serie.
Love the 1000 concept! Thanks for taking us with you. I cpuld feel you starting to tense up arpund the end of 15. I like your change in putting where you dont stare at tje basket, you just look down and settle, then look up and shoot the putt. This is exactly what I started doing a couple of months ago. There is no reason to stare at a putt in your automatic distance zone.
Good idea barrow here. Glad to get to see YOU to play some competitive style golf again. The only other real one was The Creator’s Cup a couple years ago.
Hudson Park in Ferguson, MO. Short and technical but very fun course. Record for me there is -7. Would love to score my first ever double digits there but great job on those putts! Robbie C has been putting in WORK! Love it!
Awesome! Can't wait to follow this series. Also I had a great time playing maple hill with you, funny thing I started a series just like this as my first ever post on my YT channel.
Gunna start trying this at the courses around me, love the idea! Scoped a peek at a couple of your discs throughout the round, are you still dyeing discs or do you have someone else doing them? Would love to see another disc dyeing video from you if you are still doing them! Love the content either way, thank you for keeping it real!
I haven't played any competitive rounds ever, so I have no idea what my rating is, but I recently got a 231 UDisc rated round, which is my best by far. My next goal is to improve my form some more and get that official 400 ft throw.
Robbie, can you include the UDisc round rating as well? I think it would be interesting to see how the UDisc ratings system stacks up against the PDGA rating. Plus, for courses that don’t have tournaments at them, the UDisc rating would also give a reasonable comparison.
This will be my first year playing competitively, so right now im focused on trying to improve form and keep in mind that its important to have fun. Im just excited to have a rating and a PDGA number lol
@elvinfrisque6765 he step putted with his left foot, which was the one behind his lie. To step putt there you'd need to step with your right foot so that your plant foot stays on the ground until you release the disc
Do you feel that on hole 13 . when u said outloud Thats going to be a hard put and probably thinking on the way up to it that you need this or else, contributed to you psychicing your self out of a putt. when im channeling my inner Roby all those tuff spots i have to say out loud " that in my putting range !"
Hey Robbie, it’s my understanding that this is not how round ratings work. That -14 might have been 1000 rated at that tournament, but the next tournament at the same course -14 might be a 1015 or a 987. The round rating takes into account the conditions on that day by using a round rating with a large pool of rated players. Wind, rain, cold, construction, etc. Also, aren’t ratings kind of odd in a pitch and putt? I mean it was mostly all putt and approach discs, no? It looked like it was awfully cold out there. Your round very well might have been 1000 (depending on the field and what they shot). Isn’t that how it works? I’m excited that you’re playing competitive rounds again this year. Great round and good luck this year!
Robbie, as a native Mass-Hole, I am telling you that you have to stop referring to the Worcester area as Boston. According to mose Bostonians, if you arent on the south/east side of the Charles River, you aren't IN Boston. You'll be in Worcester.
While you’re right, unfortunately he’s not talking to Mass natives, he’s talking to the Internet / America, and we label both northeast expo and Maple Hill as being in “Boston” because it’s the closest big city… or more like you have to fly in to Boston to get there.
I have a question about rating based on score. Does the rating per stroke change depending on the difficulty of the course? Like 12 down on my main course is VASTLY different than 12 down on a and easier course naer me in Cameron Park. I've shot -2 at Cameron park, but never better than like +5 at Shady Oaks.
Its just based on how you did compared to the other competitors that day. An even rated round could be rated 900 one day and 950 another depending on how everyone did.
For a player of your experience a pitch and putt course doesn’t seem like a place to really test your skills. Also you’d have to be playing against others to really get a rating, and I would assume you olay ma2 or1 and it’s hard to think the rating on a course that short would get to 1000 but I don’t know all the ins and outs of scoring. Good round but this is like dunking on a 9 foot rim
i love these vlog style rounds from you. Feels like its been so long since we've gotten one of these
Heck yeah big Rob!!! The video we have been waiting for. Great first round and can't wait to see you take it down next time
Robbie this is a wonder to see! I shot my first thousand rated round in my last tournament and I cried. I know I had it in my skills but couldn't put it all together. I just had to believe! You got this and I can't wait to see you achieve this!
Brotha, seasoned golfer here and I'm impressed. Keep the good work up and helping the needy. Man of the people
Nice round. Definitely loving this idea. Fun to watch.

Dude! One stroke off! Let’s go!!
Honestly, loving the vodeo series Robbie!
Robbie great round!! Your putting is on fire! Excited to see this series!! You’re the best!
Looking forward to the rest of the series! This start is a great video to show the difficulty of playing a full 18 hole round at your best, and this round is probably a confidence builder for the next!
Looking great Robbie
Loving my phone mount system from flight towel...it's the bomb!!!

I think it’s gonna be a fun one to follow, Skol Robbie C!

I love this idea! I am going to do this too! Although I'm under 900 rated right now so I'll be doing Chasing 900....lol. Let's go! Thanks Robbie!
You know Robbie's pissed when he says a shot is "fascinating". 😂 That Raider looked stable!
My brother and I often question people saying stuff we find to be wild/loopy with,” hmm interesting” 🤣🤣
@RobbieCDiscgolf 🤣🤣 Great round dude. You weren't far off of your mark! I'm looking forward to more episodes!
Looked good
Awesome! Can't wait to follow this series. Also I had a great time playing maple hill with you, funny thing I started a series just like this as my first ever post on my YT channel.
Im having a great day rob thank you for asking ♥️
My goal will be the best I can. lol baby steps and use of the H word. Thanks Robbie!
This series is gonna be sick 🔥
Hey man it was a good round! You’ll come back stronger!
I think you should be proud of that round
That potting stroke is looking like absolute fire.
Great video teammate! Let's go #teamflightowel !
Fun series! Looking forward to it. 988 is good
Great idea for a series!

Dude, conditions affect scores you nailed the 1000 in my opinion!
The Carlton on 14 classic 👌
Played glow with u here first ever time I played ace the hole going up the hill out of the tall tree
Can’t wait to see Inverness on this😂😂
🔥🔥

Udisc Rated it as a 237!!
Gotta play the eagle or north jasper parks in jasper they are the only course I can get too regularly. Lol love the vids and a local keep em coming.
As an arborist, to me that is one tree. One single multistem tree.
LFG!!!!
This will be my first year playing competitively, so right now im focused on trying to improve form and keep in mind that its important to have fun. Im just excited to have a rating and a PDGA number lol
#Wizardgang
Fun idea for a series! Keep an eye out if you're playing competitive, that putt on 10 was an easy foot fault call.
I don’t see it
@elvinfrisque6765 he step putted with his left foot, which was the one behind his lie. To step putt there you'd need to step with your right foot so that your plant foot stays on the ground until you release the disc
Idk seems too close to call for me. Looks like the disc is out of his hand before his foot comes up. But who cares lol
Dude your putts are looking fire now a days!

Great round and good luck this year!
8 years to get an ace? Damn
I got my first two months after starting, and got my second one 4 days later
First was 55m second was 41m
I think it is considered two trees if it separate at breast height.
Is that…a duck on top of the basket?!?! ROBBIE DID YOU NAME THE DUCK DENNIS????

You can take the boy outta wuhstah but you can't take the wuhstah out the boy!!! 😂

Precious child has disguised itself as a mako 3.
🐽
Is this a sneak peak at the new atlas V4 bag?
I dont have a rating goal right now. My goal is 350ft (havent been playing very long) and maybe not shoot over par?
I shot a 998 last Sunday at league 🤦♂️ so so close
I got my 1st ace last year! It took me 21 years though! Haha
I got one last month with a halo polecat, I consider it luck cause I’ve only been playing a few months
Are ratings based on how you do against the course or does previous scores from other players factor in coming up with the rating?
Its just based on how you did compared to the other competitors that day. An even rated round could be rated 900 one day and 950 another depending on how everyone did.
i’ve had my best score ever at that course

I started playing at the end of last Aug.
My goal insane goal to to get close to 1000 by the end of 2024.
Im an idiot. LOL
