Great, honest review as always Papparoni! I'll swerve this one. The Nandos garlic sauce omlette yesterday was delicious. I made one within 5 minutes of your upload.. The flat smelt incredible 😋
@@Papparoni You must! We have the XX stuff in the fridge.. It's the hottest they do.. Dare I? I've have the odd splosh on chicken etc.. But should I do the full omlette? 😈😅
Another great video Papparoni and I had that feeling that this was going to be nothing that special, as I tend to find that the products I've tried from this so called 'Luxury' range have been bang average!
Aubergine is what we call eggplant here in the southern US. Looked like purple eggplant from the skin. I grow the purple and the green eggplant in my summer garden. I'll be planting in the next few weeks. Only 1/4 acre this year. I usually plant 1/2 acre.
It's OK as you say and great for those that have had a long day and no time left to prep and cook. Occasionally you will find a real gem of a meal but you may need to try many to find it.
I used to love watching Cagney & Lacey. I Wish we could go back to the 80's but take the internet and mobile phones with us. I tried this moussaka ages ago. I wasn't impressed. I usually only enjoy homemade moussaka. I like to put plenty of potato slices in mine. Great review Pappa 👍
Hi P. Looked really nice. I almost bought it today! Went for the chilli chicken noodle instead. Maybe the better choice. It was good to see your opinion. Did you know Jamie Cullen plays keyboards like you? Fun, fun, fun. Just can't get enough of it. That's why I shop at Iceland. I think its pricing itself out of the market now. No fun.
Nice video papps never had moussaka before and don't think I'll be having that one Iceland used to be quite cheap but they are rapidly pricing the average person out of their shop unless you go in for the £1range most of their luxury range is hit and miss I personally prefer farmfoods 👍👍🐑🐑🎹🎹
Indeed so Robert. I noticed that they had moved their quid freezer into the first aisle, probably to keep people in before the shocks in the other aisles. I'm the same, Farmfoods is way better these days :)
OMG = that takes me back like errrr 30 years or more. Maybe 40 years ish! / Nice video - your own creations recently have been so far better than this ready meal! Mark.
Good Afternoon Papparoni, I hope all is well with you , I like a good Moussaka , this did not seem to be one of those ! another excellent review and good to see the use of magic powder was required again ! Iceland are going to end up pricing themselves out of the game if they continue to hike up their prices without improving the quality ! have a great evening mate :-)
I agree with you Graham about Iceland and their silly prices. I've not been in there for months now. The son is apparently running the company now, so are they just being greedy. Or just repositioning themselves as a rival to M&S and alienating their core customers.
@@deanmichaels4262 Good Evening Dean , thank you for the comment , they really have overinflated their prices while the quality of the produce has dropped in my opinion ! I do not go in there very often and when I do I have been very disappointed with their own products ! it is no longer a shop for mums which they used to be so proud of ! as you say they are coming into line with a lot of the bigger outlets ! have a great evening :-)
One of those meals best left to homemade I think mate 🇬🇷 im yet to try a decent one that’s not. When microwaving the instructions are way off, I always take a min or 2 off the times with any meal and always comes out perfect 👍

Sorry it turned out so meh! We're right in the heart of our city's Greek village, and we're overloaded with great moussaka options around here... can't suffer a mediorcre moussaka! Thanks for this Pap!
Hi Papp. Hmmmm... What makes a great Moussaka? 🤔 Yes the term 'Luxury' seems to be somewhat overused these days. Just because it's a few ingredients different from someone else's doesn't make it luxurious. But anyway as ordinary as this was, it wasn't a bin job! I've never had a lamb moussaka, only the vegetable and i'm glad you said you'd make your own. Use some of that Dona Kebab meat you're so fond of. Dona Moussaka...🤤👍 You just never know. Cheers Papp 😀 I hope you managed to shift and swift that hangover. Smashed it today with the YSA! Always a good day on Tuesdays as it's the last day of the catalogue week, so they move whatever they can on use by / best before dates. British Sausage Co's thick pork sausages, $8.50 to $5.32 and 2 packs of the BCS traditional unsmoked back bacon $7.00ea to $2.87ea. Great bargains. Something to squeal about! Also a Halal whole chicken 1.7kg, $10.68 to $5.32. Again another great bargain. Something to cluck about. Old MacDonald had a farm. Ee'aww Ee'aww I know.
for spending so much money £3.75 for what looks so small in the dish. really just for an old person who lives alone instead of buying Whitshire farm food meal. if you are needing more than 1 then it is just far too expensive for more people to have it at the same time.
It's happened again you have been taken in by the fancy packaging that really is shocking for £3.75 how very dare they Mum's won't be going to Iceland anymore if they see your review.
Good review as per usual but not for me. I don't like aubergine and lambs not my favourite meat either. Although you didn't seem overly impressed yourself. Going off topic a bit. I think you need a new keyboard papp. Those keys appear to be banging and not in a good way. I think you mentioned this in an earlier video you may need a new one. Expensive i would imagine. But the intro music is your usp.
I quite agree Dean, the keyboards on these digital pianos can be replaced at a cost of over 700 quid. Mine last me around 7-8 years. I'll start saving..
Good gracious that's a lot of money. Value ranges and home cooking could be the path. As many people comment the music is integral to your videos and your success.
Cagney and lacey. Proper memorable theme tune that I probably haven't heard in 25 years.
