Holy fucking Christ, I sometimes forget why I have these leaves tattooed on me. After seeing this, I remember and would do it ten more times. These guys were truly nuclear back then. 👏

This concert has there best songs from all albums. Shows davey at his peak right at his best vocal preformance! Near his surgery but far enough before where there was less trouble. Damn good concert. thats one Ide pay good amounts to go to.
Davey was at his best when he wanted to be Danzig, from his devils lock/Misftis hair do in the beginning of Afi, to the modern Danzig look with the long hair and leather. Now it seems Davey wants to be Lady Gaga or something. So Sad.
If you were at this gig and saw sick on the stairs I’m very sorry, I threw up on every little set of stairs going up to the balcony... was my first gig and got way too wasted!
@Norris3MCR The lyrics are slightly different in the chorus as well. I wish there were a clear mp3 of the 336 version instead of just the vinyl rip. I'd like it waaay more then. Great song though!

Had the music video or the single for girls not grey been released before this? I can't tell if the crowd is singing along or even if days letting the crowd sing
i know their new stuff and it is excellent, the path they have chosen is inspirating but there was one thing they sacrificed. THEY WERE THE KINGS OF THE HORROR PUNK
Ya you don't hear that one often. I heard it way back in the day. But I hate their stuff after STS and stopped listening to them. I mean their new stuff. I refuse
It was originally for an MTV series which featured Saves the Day and AFI. there was a full Saves the Day set but they only televised the first four songs of AFI's set. I still have the VHS tape somewhere that I recorded off the TV.

this is video is the closest thing I have found online to actually being at thier concerts around this time
Morningstar is still such a favorite of mine. from the lyrics to the guitar work to the huge crescendo. just incredible
That dancing through Sunday though, that energy was just insane
WOW!!! Pleather and ironed hair. Frightening. but still hot!!!!
havok would never wear leather

Wow never would I have guessed this full vid would make itself onto youtube thanks!
Looks like Danzig from far away lol
they had basically been trying to be the misfits/samhain for the 6 years preceeding sing the sorrow
porque se las buenas cosas se terminan????? ahhhhh
Alguien sabe el nombre de la canción del intro?
Had the music video or the single for girls not grey been released before this? I can't tell if the crowd is singing along or even if days letting the crowd sing
miseria cantare live...you know its going to be epic
You have no idea how happy it maes me to see this.
Anyone watching in 2020 ?
Yes, still loving it! Davey's voice is beyond unreal here!
Can’t believe I was there 18 years ago! Man I’m old 😂
Reivers music is the song at the beginning of the video, if I'm not mistaking.
Now The World
I remember seeing this gig advertised but was too young and too far north to go! Sad times.
AFI ---- ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!!!! I love watching their LIVE videos!!! FUCK YA!!! :D
why clap during morningstar? smh
wanted to travel back in time and kill all those people clapping
Thank you for posting this, its freakin amazing. Does anyone understand what Davey says at 49:24, he looks kinda pissed
1997 - 2003 were the peak years for AFI.
Confirmed! Their last album has also some great songs though
LOL just kidding, everything sucks after Decemberunderground which is kinda sucky but still has like half a good song
FUCKING! FUCKING EPIC! BEST BAND EVER, BEST TIMES EVER!
Best band ever.
@inaeye Ok I heard something to that effect but couldnt quite make it out. His shirt was all messed up too, I dont blame him for being angry
i know their new stuff and it is excellent, the path they have chosen is inspirating but there was one thing they sacrificed. THEY WERE THE KINGS OF THE HORROR PUNK
love the intro!!!
Man that was perfection. The Despair Factor was so beyond euphoric for me.
Ya you don't hear that one often. I heard it way back in the day. But I hate their stuff after STS and stopped listening to them. I mean their new stuff. I refuse
@Norris3MCR Are you referring to the 336 version? Because this is the rerecorded version for STS. The chorus is noticeably different.
@inaeye My guess would have been that the crowd got way too rough with Davey, that did happen alot in 2003....good times
If I could go back in time to any concert, this would be the one.
Dneska už nemaj ten správnej drive, co? :)
To je to správný slovo, drive. :) Přitom ono by to tam pořád bylo, kdyby Davey trochu chtěl a nesnažil se hrát si až tak moc na umělce.

For me as a old hardcore afi fan afi is no more cause they dont play the good old songs anymore love the old afi
I loved their morningstar performance so much.
@katzer6907
strength through wounding off of black sails in the sunset
@kalirose1 I think he said "Fuck" lol
14:06 i listened to over and over.
Can definitely hear the Danzig
Where's the professional footage? I see a camera up front
