How did u know
Like wtf how did you know?
How did you-
Howw
Me it's weird
If memory serves, House was playing the bad guy to get the Foreman brothers to start talking again.
I think you're right. I vaguely remember this episode
Makes sense but God damn I'm surprised neither of the brothers kicked his ass for bringing up their mother
That's what I was thinking!
So glad House wasn't evil person. He did it on purpose.
Yeah he did. If I remember correctly it's Wilson who points it out and toys with him saying he was nice all along. In this clip he inclines he is doing this on purpose to try to prove to Wilson he is not good.
However the way Wilson was not mad nor worried about it, seemed he knew the true purpose all along. Don't remember is this is true or not.
He didn't just employ his brother, he showed him that his brother truly loved him.
I think that House always shows he cares in the most roundabout way that makes him look like an asshole.
@@ilo3456 Underrated comment.
Jferrer1310 i am inclined to think he cares too much
@Tanner Jordan thats the plot twist
Excellent diagnosis. I like it
Whoever plays Marcus is amazing. His performance adds so much depth to the character.
Orlando Jones
Haven’t you seen Evolution?
@@Dameem "Ira, It's in my suit"! I loved him in The Time Machine as well.
@@shawntucker7455 Jones was absolutely hilarious in Evolution, I cry with laughter til this very day!
@Liam Leggitt best...ever
Hugh can do an accent in his accent which is different from his actual accent. Mind=blown.
He's just doing a different accent. It's not really that crazy.
@lee yi xian he does it in another episode over the phone.
@@Astrophysix1 I think he was doing an impression of Hercule Poirot, a fictional Belgian character who would speak with a French accent.
He's not doing an accent within an accent. He's doing another accent, intentionally badly.
It's a french accent. Not a different british accent
What makes this so brilliant is that it illustrates how House treats social situations the same way he does medical ones. If it's not obvious what's going on, he'll deliberately create a crisis in order to sift through the results and identify the previously hidden issue.
House always likes to work backwards to identify the problem
He did it to bring them closer, to have a common enemy. He did it for a good reason
I really relate to foreman in this episode, its really hard giving 100 chances to a sibling and feeling like the bad guy for not giving them the 101st. I can only hope my brother reforms like his did
coldsore are you saying it is the Ace’s fault? ( can’t convey tone over text but I mean this in a non accusatory manner)
coldsore your*
oh hell! I can perfectly relate to this. Every time my brother gets in trouble I don't hit him physically but with words because I'm angry but at the end of the day I still give him a hundredth chance (hoping he'll change) and feeling guilty for talking to him like that when it his fault in the first place.

It’s curious House could find out about Foreman’s brother getting parole but not notice his mother’s public obituary.
I know this comment is seven months old, but House found out about Foreman's brother getting parole through a voice-mail left at the hospital, I think. Foreman's brother called the hospital in an attempt to contact Foreman because Foreman wouldn't answer his calls to his personal phone.
@Jennifer Taylor It's impossible he knew about the death of his mother, because she wasn't dead, she had alzheimer. He only talked like she died because she couldn't recognize him any longer. And he probably didn't know her single last name, so he couldn't search for her independently, so he wouldn't find her even if she died. House stepped way over the line without knowing it was a minefield.
@@juliofranciscogomezstoppel1860 Yes she died, there is no evidence that she did not actually die. Yes she had alzeimers, but that was before her death
@@juliofranciscogomezstoppel1860 What are you on about?
@@juliofranciscogomezstoppel1860 What is a "single last name"? Were you trying to say, 'maiden name'?
And then when the video ends you realize that the moment house says "wait your mother is dead?" to Marcus at the lunch table and has that weird look on his face he's totally planning the next scene to get the brothers to talk about their mom out in the hall. This show's writing can sometimes seem lazy in some episodes but fuckin hell when they do work they DO WORK.
@Christopher Marlowe Care to give examples of both?
It’s moreso that Hugh Laurie is just a great actor. He likely added the expression to it knowing what was coming next.
@@cactusmalone Dude, I certainly won't remember after 2 years. I'm sorry for your lost account.
@@cactusmalone Yeah, totally. Always a surprise. Sometimes you think that was a good comment, or sometimes you cringe at your own comments.
The writing was never lazy. Stop the cap
You people are foolish .. house did this all so foreman and his brother would come together over a common enemy .. out of their hate for house they forgot to hate each other ... smart man
everybody knows that
Yeah, but his methods are vague sometimes

A metric ton hits in this series, but you're right that story hits like a truck.
“I don’t care where an idea comes from, as long as it makes sense AND embarrasses someone.”
Always so blown away when Hugh Laurie can do other accents coincided with his already amazing American accent, impossibly great acting

That last scene from Foreman showed immense vulnerability, great acting
Foreman is such a great character, I think he's the one I respected the most throughout the whole show, he should have his own series, Omar Epps is legend.
Should I be worried when even UA-cam starts giving me ads on medication for depression
Nah it could just be lupus
Can’t be lupus unless he does magic
When Yt starts recommending something, there's usually a cause. There are a few online depression surveys you can take and some hotlines. You can get in touch with a therapist, psychiatrist, or a medical doctor, to see if meds can help
No, don't! Listen to your own voice. Human body is amazing. As long as your mind is intact there's no need to worry.
@Swanky Pants no harm seeking a 2nd opinion
The best part is House humiliating Foreman by mentioning an incident of Foreman wetting the bed at his friend's house as a little kid, and Thirteen trying not to laugh.
Don't tell House personal stuff you don't want him to tell others.
Sure, but there's no way Marcus could have known that. Plus, House threatened to fire him and send him back to prison if he didn't give up info on Eric.
"I don't care where an idea comes from as long as it makes sense and it embarrasses someone" I think I'm gonna tatoo this on my forehead.
No doubt it will embarrass someone but I'm not sure ir makes sense.
Did he say ‘ I hardly got raped at all ‘?........

Yet another proof of how despite the bold sarcastic facade House is actualy a super nice guy...he'd rather get hated by the Foreman Brothers, as long as it means getting them to make peace with each other.
He isn't "super nice". He might ultimately be "a good guy" and have well-meaning intentions, but his methods are not nice at all. He's a jackass. There are other ways to go about it -- House doesn't need to cause conflict and drama to get his point across.
@@Sdority905Well in this case he did need yo cause drama to unite the brothers against tue "common enemy" (himself)
Can't believe his name is Eric Foreman, don't know if that's just a coincidence but that's damn close to Eric Forman from that 70's show
Always thought that myself.

This is the exact moment that Hugh Laurie became Housenberg.
House did this to get foreman and his brother back on good terms.

When you’re not supposed to cause trouble at your job but you’re hired to cause some trouble...
If you watch the eighth season, Foreman becomes dean of medicine. He marks his territory with the increase in power and lets his ego inflate like a hot-air balloon. Seeing him get embarrassed like this is hilarious and satisfying.
I really don't like him in the later seasons
@@saizampuiisailo4290 Agreed. He was such a genuine guy here. But then he becomes a jerk. But whatever, I guess that's just what the writers intended.
They should upload the episode when Chase and Foreman bet on the latter being capable of controlling his blood pressure while diagnosing. Foreman lost due to Chase manipulating the the monitor. One very funny moment.
I don't like the sound of that, BUT i know i will eventually have to buy the dvd series because i just cant get enough with these 10 min sneak peaks at the goings-on of it all.!
That was shown before the eighth season too. When house goes to mentla asylum and foreman wants to be incharge he made horrible decisions based on his ego. He is not fit for high level positions. He needs someone like house to keep him grounded.

That is the most meaningful "French""I ever heard in my lifetime!
He did it to bring his brothers closer, to have a common enemy since house is so lonely he didn’t want foreman to be that way too. He did it for righteous reasons.
House was just trying to get both brothers on the same page by bringing their late mom in convo. House does care about foreman.

This is basically the conflict that started BetterCallSaul, two brothers misunderstanding that blow out of proportion. That just having house saving the relationship.
