I've been on home exchange for 3 years and I love it. I've met some of the best hosts through the platform. It can take a long time to secure an exchange with hosts but it takes patience on your part. It's definitely worth it.
Absolutely fantastic insights, and I've never understood the idea of buying a place abroad if you only visit once or twice a year 😱 If I ever own my own property in the future, this is definitely going to be on my list 😎
I can understand living 6 months here, 6 months there or if you’re going to eventually move there but otherwise buy assets to cash flow renting places anywhere or, home exchange! 🏠↔️🏡
would you mind sharing how you accumulate guestpoints please? I'm getting very excited over this! Could spend all day looking for houses around the world! :))
You get your first guest points by signing up (I think a few bonus ones if you use my link!) and doing various introductory things like filling in your house information, verifying your identity etc. You usually then have enough to go somewhere to try the system out. Then you get more GP by letting people stay in your house, which you then use to go on holiday somewhere else! Simples!
Welcome aboard! I like to think I live on the edge of the box. Not the most conventional but having a lot of fun in the process. I hope you continue to enjoy!
We actually don't worry about clearing the wardrobes, although I'm currently in France and have appreciated having a couple of drawers to put our stuff in so it's really about figuring out what space you can squeeze out. It doesn't have to be a lot!
Reciprocal exchanges can be at different times. We haven't done one of those yet because it involves more calendar manipulation that we can bear to think about!
There are some that only want to do reciprocal exchanges but there are plenty of people who are happy to use GuestPoints. We're going away to two places in the summer and one is using GP and one is reciprocal. It's great! I would say that most people are happy to accept GP.
This channel is going to make it big. It's just a case of time 👌
Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll keep going!

Securing the exchange is certainly the hardest part. It's absolutely definitely worth it! Nice to know you're loving it. 🤠
@@DafyddMorse glad you're doing videos on Home Exchange because not enough people know about it. We've saved thousands traveling by exchanging!
I went to Germany for 10 days. Had a nice time.
@@greggrimer354 amazing. I just got back from Germany 🇩🇪 yesterday. Where are you heading next ??

Very useful
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Fun idea!
For a language learner, it’s amazing. It’s the biggest factor in what language I choose to learn next!
New to your channel. You got some great ideas. Looking forward to more videos. Keep up the good work!

what do i do about clearing out the wardrobes? I don't have further storage space. Any ideas?!

@@DafyddMorse thanks for your responses, they are really appreciated! Have a fab time in France, can't wait to be doing the same 😀
Can reciprocal exchanges not be at the same time ?
Reciprocal exchanges can be at different times. We haven't done one of those yet because it involves more calendar manipulation that we can bear to think about!
Who’s home exchanging then??
Most of the people don't accept GuestPoints tho, is it right?

Hey, I am student at Centennial college and, we are doing assignment on homeswitch assignment. So, can you help us for the same?
Hi there, Monika. I'd be happy to help. Do you want to find me on Instagram?
