      ezoen I see. All we have is street courts since our government doesn't give a shit about sport. The street courts are awful too so this looks a million times better than what we have.

    Has the lifting and plyometric routines also improved your speed?

    • @Michael284m
      @Michael284m 10 років тому +1

      ezoen So why no deadlifts? In my opinion best compound exercise for hamstrings.

    • @mattymartin988
      @mattymartin988 9 років тому

      Michael284m deadlifts don't target hamstrings, they target your quads and gluetes mainly

    • @Michael284m
      @Michael284m 9 років тому +1

      Matty Martin Lol! The whole motion of hip extension is caused by your hamstrings and gluteus maximus. Deadlifts target mainly hamstrings!

    Any tips to keep my feet active when doing the triple at full speed? I can usually hit about 40ft from 4-5 strides then as soon as i put a decent run up on my technique falls apart.

    And any advice for 5'9" triple jumpers!?!?

    • @gabewilliams4590
      @gabewilliams4590 10 років тому

      You're a beast!! Haha when's your season starting? And what are you looking to jump your first meet?

    • @KiLLED5639
      @KiLLED5639 9 років тому

      When I was in high school, I only jumped 40 ft as my longest. Theres was another triple jumper on the team that was 5'8"/ 5'9". He jumped 45ft. You just gotta take into factor your natural talent, and how hard you train, how long you train and what kind of training you do. But, if you can jump anywhere in the 40s and you're like 16/17, you're good to go. From then on though, you have to train as much as possible. Greatest advice my head track coach told me in high school, the actual season always start atleast 2 months before the season.

      KiLLED5639 I was 6ft then and still am.

      Gabe Williams Keep calm bro, in France, the 1st Triple jumper is about 170cm and jumps 16,55m. Size doesn't mean everything ;)
