Thank you! I have an Atomstack S20 and I followed your instructions and included a photo of my children, which I set to Sketch. The Sketch/photo and the Font/word I chose is fantastic, however I will have to increase the power to cut through the line and hole. Because it was a test I flipped it over and tried Dither on another two photos - one was too dull looking, the other was the photo I initially used as a Sketch, however, I changed it to Dither and as the background was quite dark it burnt a lot away. Was a good learning curve for me. Thank you again!
Don't use the "iLaser" device type, it should be "GRBL" for the AtomStack. LightBurn should no longer false-detect the iLaser from version 1.3.00 (December 08, 2022)
Nice easy to understand video thanks. I was using GRBL but it's too complicated and doesn't find my saved files, the good thing was that you could centralise the laser on to your work by turning the laser on, is there a way you can do this with Lightburn please?
Hi, i did evertything you said but I have a problem when I have to move the Frame. It doesn't move, it goes once right and that is it. Do you maybe know what the problem is?

Just got the AtomStack x20, I keep getting alarm 9 homing error. Im brand new & starting to feel in over my head. Ive commented on several different creators videos hoping for some help to get off the ground.
Great information for a beginner like me. But remember, most of your audience are beginners, slow don the narrative a little bit and try to limit the mouse fluttering all over the place. I had to stop and go back dozens of time to get exactly what your were doing.
Hello. Did you input Libraries in the controller using Arduino DE before you set it up in Lightburn? I unput libraries in Controller and then i installed the drivers outside of the LaserGRBL and then I pressed to find my Laser in Lightburn and it couldnt find it. Can you help please? Thanks!!
Hi, I have an atomstack s20 max. The power of the laser is 18-20w. They cannot cut plexiglass (acryl) 3 mm at all. Is the problem that the laser power is low, or did I not set good parameters for cutting? I use the lightburn program
The AtomStack S20 is a blue laser. Clear plexi does not absorb blue. It passes right through. To engrave / cut clear plexi - you will need a different laser. People usually use a CO2 laser because it is a far infrared beam. at that wavelength,, the acrylic completely absorbs the energy. Unlike blue that passes right through,, the plexi can't pass the IR and it absorbs the energy letting it engrave / cut.

I’m trying to engrave a 2 1/2 x 3/4 acrylic piece but when I click frame just before cutting it takes off and and grinds against the actual frame of the atomstack. Any suggestions on how to keep it from doing that?

Which file type the sd card can read? I tried PNG and SVG and it didn’t work, only their test files which are NC files.
Would be nice to have detailed info on how to align the wood under the correct point [left & right etc} for starting the engrave/cut. Maybe next time?

I have the X7 Pro but the laser seems underpowered and I have my s value at 1000 any ideas?

Check your preview (monitor looking button up top) make sure you have current position selected as your cut start in the lower right??
I did I also changed start from under the laser tabs. It worked now just gotta make sure to get the positioning just right when I frame it.

You can use the trial version. If everything is connected right,, it should detect it.

This is the M5 I believe. YOurs may not have a homing cycle
