James, you should look at the Open University if you still want to do a degree. They're really good and got loads of options for subjects and part-time study etc. :)
Absolutely love your honesty! As someone in a long term relationship where sex doesn't happen very often because life is exhausting! It's lovely to finally hear a couple speak openly about this subject!
I definitely wouldn't move from your house, it's so nice, not too big or small and you have the perfect garden for doggy's & children, do the loft conversion and make your house even better than it already is I can't imagine you living anywhere else! 💖
Responding to your answers about feeling old on UA-cam etc! I'm sure alongside me is sooo many viewers to equally feel old! It's nice watching people at similar stages of your own life! Your relatable 💕 don't forget that some of us are growing with you 🎄❤️
You two are the best! I love James’s character. So loving, nurturing and funny. Big fan of sensible James 😅🌟🧡 You’re all a delight to have in our lives. 🌟🕊💕
I had my baby girl in September at 37 +4 weeks by c section after a failed induction. I found the experience actually really positive and I think it really helped keeping an open mind and not seeing a c section as a last resort or a 'bad' thing. I just saw it as an 'option' which we ended up taking, just like gas and air, epidurals, drips, birth pools etc. are all 'options' for birth. I was also allowed to go home after 24 hours, which was the best!
Don’t worry too much about degrees. I don’t have a degree or even A levels and I’ve managed to work myself up into a senior leadership position in finance. I don’t look at any education when I’m hiring! Experience and character is vastly more important.
Omg I'm dying!😂 when your talking about icks and James says "that's my ice for you!" - brilliant! But I'm the same Carys! I get so buzzing about everything! And not many people I've dated do!🤣
Love how honest you guys are! Especially being close in age, it’s good to see young people being open and honest about sex not always happening when usually it’s the other way about x
Carys, you are absolutely STUNNING! Your skin, your hair, your makeup, your jewelry, such a shining light in the world 🥰🥰 absolutely adore watching your family, especially while I munch on my fast food cheeseburger 🤣💕
Just to add on about your 1st pregnancy feeling easier than current: I completely agree with what James said! I actually had my second pregnancy during lockdown whilst you were having your first and it was an absolute breeze. Both myself and my partner were home, taking in turns for lay ins with our then toddler, the weather in Wales was amazing too in the first lockdown if you remember so we were living off BBQs in the garden, wondering around in sports bras and leggings all day with my bump, felt like a holiday!! Hahaha xx
So annoying how people comment on how you dress Amber. We don't expect grown women to only wear dresses because they are women, why expect it for little girls?...you guys are doing the best thing, dressing her for comfort and what she likes 🥰
I've been following you, Carys, forever ☺️ (since 4 years on UA-cam and even longer on Instagram) and I still love your content so so much !! 😍 You both are such funny and genuine people, you are a beautiful couple and such great parents (soon to two cute little girls 💕) !
I don't know if you guys will see this but I'm doing my Psychology degree through the OU so if James was still interested in gaining an Economics degree it might be worth looking into it? It allows a lot of freedom for different working hours but relies a lot on self-motivation. You guys are such an amazing couple ❤❤
Love you guys! You never fail to make me laugh. Please don’t stop making content because you feel old! Like you said, there’s definitely a place for every age on social media and the people like me (32 years old), have been watching youtube for yearsss and want to watch my peers, not 18 year olds! 🥰
I love your epidural stories because that was exactly me with my first birth, I did NOT expect the pain to be how it was 😂 and the epidural literally saved me and allowed me to be back in control and actually enjoy the experience. After having the epidural I remember every moment because I was able to focus on the experience not the pain! Then I had my second baby and my partner and midwife were laughing at me because I was basically asking for the epidural from the minute we got to the hospital I was only 3cm 😂 If it helps put your mind at ease at all, my second epidural experience was actually even more positive because I didn’t go completely numb how I did first time, I was still able to feel when I wanted to push, when I was contracting and feel baby coming out but just as pressure not pain and I actually really loved that, I didn’t have to rely on the midwifes to tell me when to push and if I was pushing right because I could feel it. Also, not sure if it’s different as I’m in England but I was able to go home 6 hours after the birth even with the epidural, I just had to go for 2 separate wees to show I had bladder control back. So baby number 2 was born at 4am and we were back home by lunch time to his big brother 🥰 Hope everything goes well with the birth, the biggest advice I ever got given was you don’t come home with a medal for turning down pain relief, so do whatever makes you feel most comfortable ❤️ x x x
So funny lunch time snack 😆 we’re the same. Husband works from home and I don’t work much so our ‘fun time’ is usually during toddler naps 😆 idk what we’ll do when she stops napping
Hey guys! One thing I didn't realise with labour is there is other options u can use between the gas and and epidural ( in Australia anyway) if you wanted to go as long as possible without an epidural. Also I started with the gas early on - with a light dose and they just slowly turned it up as I needed! Hope that helps! I found it so helpful to talk to my midwife about all my options once I was in the birth suite! Best of luck! Xo
Had me laughing when James said about hearing a name keep being shouted puts you off That’s so true zackery 😂 I’m 28weeks pregnant and me and my partner are expecting our second boy March 1st and we liked the name Finley after hearing Finley being shouted in a supermarket I was like no I don’t like that name anymore so we have a whole new name and haven’t heard it being screamed out lol
I had a planned c section as my baby girl was breech and I was out of hospital 24 hours later, up and about walking round fine with such an easy recovery it was the most chilled experience and zero pain, the only thing I would say it because it was so chilled and no pain I find it hard to now believe that I gave birth to my baby if that makes sense, I feel like I just skipped birth, got given my baby and went home x
When I was in labour I completely forgot gas and air was even a thing. I did hypobirthing and when we were driving to the hospital I had contactions rolling one into the next for about 10 minutes and was determined to get an epidural if I wasn't 8 or 9cm. I was 5cm when I got there and just cried but then the midwife mentioned gas and air and I was like, oh yeah gas and air. And it was amazing. I still needed an epidural but the gas and air helped me carry on for about 4 hours and with hypobirthing breathing it was a complete game changer. My birth was definitely a positive one even if I did have to have an opeseotomey and forceps delivery. Good luck and enjoy your bump for the last couple of months. Love you guys x x
Oh this was so cosy, guys!! Love your attitude towards this birth. I’m a Midwife and SO passionate about a positive birth experience, irrespective of circumstances, because often our bodies and babies call the shots! And this is so random, but if you ever want to debrief through your last birth & discuss preferences for this one, I’d be more than happy to go through it all with you. I hate the idea of women not being able to have a wholesome chat about something so important because of the restricted NHS appointment time slots!! Xx
Love you both so much!! Watching you both chat and do these Q&A style videos are just the best. I love how open and honest you are and you both just make me feel so happy and calm ❤
I’ve had 2 c sections and been sent home the very next day so don’t worry about them wanting to keep you in. My first son was allowed in to visit when I had my second son but I chose to wait till we got home to introduce then.
When I was pregnant I could not get enough of those Christmas cheese bite things from McDonald’s. They honestly tasted like liquid gold. Salty hot cheese crunch oh Jesus it was the best. The following Christmas I had them and thought they were bang average 😂😂 funny how pregnancy makes you crave things. You look incredible Carys I’m so glad everything is going well for you xxx Ps - I had an epidural at 2pm and was sent home 5pm the next day so you might not be there for more than one night. The gas and air made me violently sick so it would be a strict no no from me if there’s ever a next time 😂
I feel like it was yesterday I watched first video with first baby I had no idea you’re expecting again until this video was on my recommended awwwe lovely congratulations ❤️
My son worked after his A levels and then decided to go to uni aged 25 - did a 3 year degree in cyber security and got a very good degree ( unfortunately 2nd & 3rd year done mainly at home due to Covid happening but still got his degree).
100% correct on the choosing names when you work with children - I'm a nursery nurse and I just know I'm gonna struggle to not relate names to past children I've looked after 🤣🤣🤣
love the video guys, good questions people are asking about your pregnancy and how you are food looked good hope you get on alright with the midwife. x ❤️
I really enjoyed gas and air it didn’t stop the pain but it made me so relaxed and made me breathe so much better and I liked the fact as soon as I stopped I came back to reality quick. I’m pregnant with my 2nd girl I’m due the week before you I’m definitely finding this pregnancy mentally easier but physically harder!
Hi I'm a recently new subscriber to your channel I can happily say I've watch all of the videos since the beginning xx I love the relationship you guys have and how much you love Amber I can't wait to see the new addition to the whittaker family next year my bday is march too lol xx😍💗
I had a hard labour with my first…same as you I wanted hypnobirthing and water birth but ended with spinal block and forceps. I tried gas and air…it did nothing at all for me! Next time I’m going in like epidural ASAP please 😂 I went through all that pain with nothing at all just because I was so stubborn x
i just had my baby girl 2 weeks ago and 100% recommended having pain relief. i didn’t have any because they checked me to late and it was the most painful experience of my life! worth every second though
Gas and air is the biggest life saver of all time all my pregnancies I was like please just pass me it NOW thank you 🤣🤣🤣 it definitely got me through my labours it’s AMAZING 🤣 Good luck lovely you’re be amazing xxx
Quick question because I am early pregnancy and following everything to do with food. Those cheese bites are made from Camembert and I thought we’re not allowed that during pregnancy.
Birth was absolutely awful and traumatic for me I definitely think I should have done some sort of classes around it beforehand as i knew nothing whatsoever.....But baby girl amd myself came through it safe and healthy and there is nothing more positive than that 🙏 lovely video guys ❤️ x
Went to mcdonalds 2 months ago for the first time in 10 years. I was layed up at home with a broken ankle on the left and torn ligaments in my ankl on the right. I hadnt been out of the house much my first week and one day at the end of the afternoon my husband said " come on, i'm taking you out for a drive" .And at the end we stopped at Mcdonalds as a surprise.....
Love this SO much guys - but, please, don’t feel like you’re no longer relevant or need to change or go anywhere. So many people love you and enjoy watching your content and life. No matter what, there will always be people interested and wanting to keep you a part of their lives! X
I enjoy your vlogs and my sons are a similar age to you both. You are both a breath of fresh air I think. So down to earth and normal. I had two boys just 16 months part and had two very different births ( second one being a doctor instructed caesarean with an epidural). I’m sure all will go well for you. Xx
I always dress my girls and my boy in tops and leggings or joggers more so joggers for my boy. Or dungarees for my younger girl and my boy. Especially stuff like little squidges dungarees and there sets, waffle sets and stuff. They always look lovely even though they’re more casual clothes. Like Amber she always looks so lovely!
We’ve been pregnant together both times, this time your due on the 1st and im due on the 4th, so great to be going along this journey together again! Except last time i had my baby 8 weeks early and this time i’ll be having a week earlier! Good luck with your birth!❤️
Love this video as per ❤ my mum didn’t fully decide names so just had a bump name instead to help bond... and the hotel rooms as teenage siblings... 😂😅 yes me and bro started sharing with mum/dad instead
I’ve just ordered wagamamas for delivery for the first time. And then like two minutes after I get to the part of your video where you say their delivery isn’t that good :( if only I had waited 2 minutes
in m first pregnancy (my daughter will be 2 in feb ) during labour i had something called remifentanil and it was my life saver i could still get up and move if i wanted to as its like a canula that goes in your hand most of the time and i am hoping to be able to have it this time as i am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby
I’m pregnant as well, due in may 😊 my first! We have a name for our baby boy but I don’t want to announce it till he’s born because I don’t want anyone’s opinions and just in case we change our mind 😂💙 can’t wait for baby girl Whitaker 💖
I absolutely adore the relationship you both have. If yous ever consider adopting, I'll be here 🙋♀️😂 But in all seriousness, on the topic of Amber's clothing, I also have a young daughter and I've always bought from both the girl and boys sections. I feel like the girls clothes are mostly pink/pastels/fairies/Princesses etc and the boys get all the animals/dinosaurs/bright colours.. as if girls aren't into those too 🤷♀️ also, mines is 4 and a half and still wears dungarees, as do I 😂 Alsoooo. The part where you talked about the midwives asking if you wanted to feel your baby's head had me buckled 😂 x
James, you should look at the Open University if you still want to do a degree. They're really good and got loads of options for subjects and part-time study etc. :)
I was about to write the exact same thing! It’s amazing for mature students especially wanting to do a degree part time!
Absolutely love your honesty! As someone in a long term relationship where sex doesn't happen very often because life is exhausting! It's lovely to finally hear a couple speak openly about this subject!
Wishing james’ mum all the best in her recovery! ❤️🩹
I definitely wouldn't move from your house, it's so nice, not too big or small and you have the perfect garden for doggy's & children, do the loft conversion and make your house even better than it already is I can't imagine you living anywhere else! 💖

Glad to hear you aren’t retiring from social media any time soon! You all are my faves!😊❤
You two have such a lovely relationship. You should be so so proud of your gorgeous little family🎄❤️
Don’t worry too much about degrees. I don’t have a degree or even A levels and I’ve managed to work myself up into a senior leadership position in finance. I don’t look at any education when I’m hiring! Experience and character is vastly more important.

I wish my husband was kind, you two are lucky to have each other, have a wonderful Christmas
Why are you married to him if he's not kind? Value yourself girl!!

Quick question because I am early pregnancy and following everything to do with food. Those cheese bites are made from Camembert and I thought we’re not allowed that during pregnancy.
These are my favourite videos ever!!!!
Mila sneaking into the background was so cute!!!
Birth was absolutely awful and traumatic for me I definitely think I should have done some sort of classes around it beforehand as i knew nothing whatsoever.....But baby girl amd myself came through it safe and healthy and there is nothing more positive than that 🙏 lovely video guys ❤️ x
Yay James the messing with her hair does my head in too 🤣 love you 2 so much xxxx
The McFlurrys sitting there melting like 👁️👄👁️
Went to mcdonalds 2 months ago for the first time in 10 years.
I flipping love you two you genuinely crack me up so funny xx

I enjoy your vlogs and my sons are a similar age to you both. You are both a breath of fresh air I think. So down to earth and normal. I had two boys just 16 months part and had two very different births ( second one being a doctor instructed caesarean with an epidural). I’m sure all will go well for you. Xx
So happy about the positive news on your Mum ❤️ strength and love to her and your Dad. We are rooting her on with love from the sidelines
YAY MUKBANGS ARE MY FAVOURITE VIDEOS
Carys your outfit is so cute which collection is it?
I always dress my girls and my boy in tops and leggings or joggers more so joggers for my boy. Or dungarees for my younger girl and my boy. Especially stuff like little squidges dungarees and there sets, waffle sets and stuff. They always look lovely even though they’re more casual clothes. Like Amber she always looks so lovely!
We’ve been pregnant together both times, this time your due on the 1st and im due on the 4th, so great to be going along this journey together again! Except last time i had my baby 8 weeks early and this time i’ll be having a week earlier! Good luck with your birth!❤️
Wonderful news about your mom congratulations!
Lovely video guys, I’m also due the 1st March with a baby girl, our first! Congratulations both 💗💗
Open university or online learning college are both great! I did a course with OLC and and it was great
The gas and Air helps so much with the pain 👍honestly I have had 5 baby's and it's worked every time also congratulations 🎊
My favourite channel ❤
Love this video as per ❤ my mum didn’t fully decide names so just had a bump name instead to help bond... and the hotel rooms as teenage siblings... 😂😅 yes me and bro started sharing with mum/dad instead
I’ve just ordered wagamamas for delivery for the first time. And then like two minutes after I get to the part of your video where you say their delivery isn’t that good :( if only I had waited 2 minutes
My baby girl is now 7 months 🥹❤️ she is my first child and she was 10 pounds 4 1/2 ozs at birth x
I love this ❤️the only thing though was it was giving me anxiety you not eating the chips first because they go cold quickest 🤣🤣
in m first pregnancy (my daughter will be 2 in feb ) during labour i had something called remifentanil and it was my life saver i could still get up and move if i wanted to as its like a canula that goes in your hand most of the time and i am hoping to be able to have it this time as i am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby
The gas and air really helps because you have something to bite on 😊
I’m pregnant as well, due in may 😊 my first! We have a name for our baby boy but I don’t want to announce it till he’s born because I don’t want anyone’s opinions and just in case we change our mind 😂💙 can’t wait for baby girl Whitaker 💖
I absolutely adore the relationship you both have. If yous ever consider adopting, I'll be here 🙋♀️😂
But in all seriousness, on the topic of Amber's clothing, I also have a young daughter and I've always bought from both the girl and boys sections. I feel like the girls clothes are mostly pink/pastels/fairies/Princesses etc and the boys get all the animals/dinosaurs/bright colours.. as if girls aren't into those too 🤷♀️ also, mines is 4 and a half and still wears dungarees, as do I 😂
Alsoooo. The part where you talked about the midwives asking if you wanted to feel your baby's head had me buckled 😂 x
