- DNF & Mr. North can be heard alerting when a sub adult bald eagle flies out of the bushes into the pasture. Mr. North strikes & tussles with the intruder, both ending up in the stream, as the other DNF provides back-up. Both parents continue to warn the intruder vocally & physically until they successfully chase it from their territory. 😍
Great job protecting your precious eaglets, Mom & Dad! 🦅🛡🦅

I hope the parents don’t hurt the juvenile because I believe it was the same eaglet in previous seasons, young eaglets normally stay in their areas where they grow up until they reach adulthood at 5 years old . So sad to see this happening because sometimes when parents have new eaglets they are naturally protected and try to push the old offspring away to learn how to survive in the wild
I also hope they don’t /didnt injure the juvie . I know it’s part of protecting their territory but hoping juvie ended up ok and moved along for now ❤
