(Requested by Red Cardinal1) While the Sonic Generations remix of the final boss theme for S3&K sounds amazing, it doesn't even have a single trace of the original 16-bit synths. There are times were even Mania remains more faithful to the originals; take the drowning theme as an example. This is why I felt like using some of the older synths but still use new ones to make it feel like something out of Sonic Mania.

Finally a fan remix that sounds like the normal version without the genesis limitation wich is what a mania remix is SUPPOSED to sound like (at least the act 1 song)

I'm glad you stayed faithful to the classic style while still putting a new spin on it. The dozens of metal covers for this track just don't have the same intimidation factor as the Genesis Synth.
I mean, the official remix for Generations (3DS) was pretty damn good.

I did not include a gameplay like I usually do because it takes a long time to access the boss (even with hacks; Launch Base Act 2 is a really hard stage) and I have a lot of other projects to do as well.

Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs Well, Debug Mode is always a thing. After all, in S3&K, accessing both the level select and debug codes is a lot easier than in Sonic 3 alone.
I heard of level select, but I don't think it can take you to the boss immediately.

Aw man, I wish you added the twinkle at 0:56. I loved that part of the song, and I hate the bug that prevents it from playing in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
There isn't any bug that prevents it from playing in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. That is a rumour that has been debunked as we scrutinized the SMPS data of the track.

It would be really cool if at 0:56 you used the little transition jingle used in the PC version of the game.
I tried to, but I wasn't able to make it sound right. I then tried pasting that part from the S3&K PC MIDI, but the notes were too large since there was a different tempo.
That's a shame. I'd still try to squeeze it in but it's a good remix regardless.
I think the PC jungle there sounds interesting, but the original one where it goes straight to the chord is better because it conveys the feeling of dread and doom much better.

I should've titled this remix "Big Arms" back in 2017.
It's 95% awesome. Only thing that I can say is that the mix is tinny. It lacks bass and lower registers, making it sound more airy. That does not make it bad-but I think if you revisited it and added some bass guitar and higher quality drums, you'd have it. Maybe have the main FM instrument twinned at a fifth down?
This remix is old at this point. In 2017, I just began using my DAW and simply slapped any low-quality soundfonts/default plugins on someone else's MIDI, without any mixing or mastering. When placing this mix over a limiter, it displayed horrendous peaking and it shows due to the distortion. When you get the chance, check out my newer works -- I believe I've improved with the low range problem present in here.
