(6/20/2021) In my opinion, I have uploaded to this platform an abysmal remix of the Doomsday Zone theme four years ago.
FINALLY, a remix that does the original Mega Drive version justice. Doomsday Zone seems to be one of the hardest ones for people to remix just right.
This was my comment on my original account. I'm glad people liked my thoughts.

Ah Doomsday Zone. That intro always gave me chills.

I don't know. When I listen to the theme, there's just this weird feeling inside me that makes it seem like it's the absolute end of everything. After that, it gets intense!

Finally a remix that actually utilises channel 3 of the original track and makes it actually hearable!
Strange that we've seen plenty of aspects from 3&k in other titles, but we've never seen doomsday zone return. I though it was one of the most memorable parts of the game.
Also this remix is god-like!

I have a theory about how doomsday might return in sonic forces:
In the sonic mania manual, it states that the Phantom Ruby is able to bypass super states. Super states, not Hyper states. And since Infinite has some sort of connecting with the ruby, we can most likely expect him to have the power to bypass super.
So we may have to go hyper to defeat infinite or whatever, and since people think of hyper sonic in doomsday more than super sonic in doomsday, we could possibly get Doomsday with hyper sonic in forces, but probably not.
Also, it's an anniversary title, so of course we are gonna get throwbacks to the rest of the series.
Interesting theory. Let's hope Doomsday comes back in Sonic Forces.
Dang it if only that happened. It could even have worked like Sonic and Knuckles where there were special stages in Forces, and to get the best ending you had to get all the Chaos Emeralds in Mania to unlock the ability to get the Super Emeralds in Forces.
Reason why is because they wanted a new ending instead of Doomsday Zone.

GOD YES THIS IS IT, THIS IS THE REMIX. Out of the many doomsday zone mania remixes I’ve heard, this is the only one I can actually listen to completely. And it’s always the tune at the start as well, IMO this is the only one that does the original intro justice.

I kinda wished the final boss of Sonic Mania was more like the final boss of S3&K, but oh well, I guess we can't always get what we want. That fight was flawed in quite a few ways, but at least the music that played during it kicked ass, and so does this remix. I always loved The Doomsday theme :)

Doomsday was cool and all, buy I like how Egg Reverie was an actual battle, and a battle royale at that. It really fit the mood of the rest of the game. It didn't feel too moody compared to the rest of the game like I feel Doomsday did, as not only the music but also the battle itself feel more energetic, but still serious.

omg the two robots fighting over the gem at the end of doomsday was such a dumb letdown. Shame as the rest of the game was absolute quality.

Doomsday Zone that's another one of my favorites from Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Sonic and Knuckles I really like the original space boss fights which it was pretty good that's when Hyper Sonic defeated the final final boss fight to bring back the Master Emerald back to Knuckles that time I would like to see doomsday Zone coming back to make a comeback for Sonic Mania zone but I really do like the soundtrack which was pretty awesome
Doomsday zone is the good if not the greatest boss in the trilogy the panic,the stress,and the music sounds like "if you fail now it is all over sonic save the world from robotnik" your remix is amazing and may I say it improves more than the original if I would rate this 1/5 I would rate 9000/5

Rings in 3 necessary colors:
Gold: You collect this for cash and whatnot (Maybe just to feel good, lol).
Red: Energy/Vitality.
Icons colored in red offer energy benefits/random energy hypothetics designed to last a short time; Take advantage of it.
White: Offense/Defense/Strength?Resistance. (Builds up breathing underwater, fighting with harder hits/using a zone's objects as (maybe) weapons of mass destruction.
Icons colored in white offer offense/defense benefits that can be strung together, but enjoy it while it lasts.
Absolutely Under Any Circumstance Do Not Touch the Black rings or any Black objects Sponsored by Skull; Instant damage in some way, more than likely immediately!
Power-ups mostly in the style of your classic latter half of Genesis Sonic (I.E., element shields,
If at least 50 gold rings arrive with you at a starpost and you jump into the stars, a randomly-colored room will activate; Pray for nothing black!
If you end up in a black room, intentionally fail it.
50 white rings at a starpost promotes a random offense/defense boss (Not sponsored by Skull, but this time, our truly awesome Robotnick!
Consider these tutorials to build skills to hone attakcs, try abilities you didn't know you'd acquired, maybe unlock a harder edition or a boss panic!
These mini-boss fights give you chances to hone skills preciously necessary to later fight Skull; damage Does Not usually take place during these fights; Use them!
50 red rings at a starpost collectively unlocks an E.A.S. challenge;
Drowning in water, burning on fire, falling, performing various tasks in small spaces and the like.
These rooms are designed to build stamina and further vitality, building confidence through a very long game.
With 50 or more rings proper (no care to color), a general BlueSphere" stage opens after jumping through a big ring.
Note the sphere color patterns; Do Not Touch Black Spheres or the gray spheres With Black Stars!
If you see alternating patterns of red and white, do make sure to fill them out
(I.E., Get all the spheres in those patterns leaving no rings behind).
The stage may end up getting surprisingly easier the faster it goes?
With 50 or more red, white and gold rings (all 3 colors must be present) at a signpost and a big ring jump, you open a/an: MultiPipe.
Collect certain amounts of colored rings by at least 3 countpoints.
Do Not Touch the Black Bombs!
Touching red or white bombs here in patterns will offer streaks into longer endurance/tighter attention focus.
Survive either these (or the traditional special stages) to get a Chaos emerald/Pandemonium teardrop.
Thus, the regular Chaos emeralds, And then: Pandemonium Teardrops!
Collecting all 14 crystals (7 of each) teleports you to an activation territory (a kin to the Hidden Palace from Sonic 2) allowing you to cry about whatever you desperately needed to.
The act of your teardrops touching the collected crystals then unlocks the UltraSonic Spirit that shatters even the yester-year HuyperSonic/Knuckles to total dust of nonexistance!
Professor Skull and his SkullKandies have no real ide of that they'll be in for once the um, transfermation, happens?
50 rings for the basic USS: the typical HyperSonic we're all so fakely used to...
200 rings for USS tier 2 (allowing you to breathe fire and boomerang damage back to enemies.)
350 rings unlocks Tier 3 (drinking the water instead of drowning in it instantly turns to liquid rings added to your score
Feeling thirsty in an ice-type stage? No problem: Chew on some ice and watch your ring count go up?
!500 rings activates Tier 4: The Beast.
No, you're the good beast in this case.
Rings Do Not Count Down in This Ultimate form!
You'll be totally omniscient and omnipittent to everyone/thing around you,
throw your own rings at enemies to kill them (even at Skull during his boss fights to count as boss hits)!
Silently mind-cleanse Skull's armies whereever they are! No Clorox needed here!
Dr. Robotnick's robots will even let you use their old weaponry and territory sworn to destroy you: Now to help you, Lol Woe!
Death Egg; Now a: Life Egg?
And as to Skull's final boss: How about an old American Gladiators' reference to the last objective challenge: the Elliminator!

Nostalgia. How i remember play this game when i was 11-12 years old. Beat the game without all emeralds under 2 Hours with Sonic. And then the 5th or 6th time when i finally beat the game with All the Emeralds i unlock this stage. I was shock. Clueless. There a secret boss i asking myself. 10 Minutes i just push the controller without knowing you need to beat Eggman/Robotnik with chase him in this stage. Memories man. Memories.
I love how full on this remix is, it reflects the “thematic tension” of the true final boss quite well though I wasn’t a fan of the fight, too easy
