Pulse > input and Triangle > filter is such a great starting point for so many cool patches. Also patching into the cycle input and playing with rate plus the sequencer can lead to almost generative sounding patches, especially when you chain patterns on the fly. Love these videos Václav, keep making them!❤
YES! This has been one of my favourite patches! You can also ping it by easing off the resonance and patch in a trigger into the filter (envelope or gate), and open the VCA. Great sound!
Also Girlboss is cool!
Thank you for these videos! I look forward to playing with sp2 every single day:)
❤️❤️❤️
I would love to see more patch ideas on this beautiful machine!
We have a long video planed for very near future! Stay tuned!
@@bastlinstruments thanks Vaclav for the inspiration
@@bastlinstruments Yes Please!!!!!!!
I love how the SoftPop can transform itself in so many fun ways. Recently been playing with putting the audio outputs (including the main one) to the multi and then mixing it with an external drum machine with the XY control, listening through that output. That BP output is always a recipe for crazy fun.
sounds like you have a lot of fun! We will have to try this patch!
Sounds amazing, I definetely have to try this one out
Nice explications
I like it advanced patching thx U
This sounds beautiful! I love finding ways to apply Bastl patches to other machinery - sometimes I will look at the SP1 manual for how that synth is routed as inspo for patching my larger modular system. I know it is no longer in production, but I wonder if you all would ever consider doing patching videos for the original Softpop as well?
This will probably not happen
Thank you very much for the video!!!!! sorry, but this pach can be done with the old VCO or also with the new digital upgrade?
It works on both
@@ToyotaVangelis thanks! :)))
I hear very interesting similarities between the SoftPop and the Arp 2600 ... 😏
