I am a Choctaw- I am so proud of my ancestors and their kindness, to another suffering nation of people. 💕💕💕

I’ve just completed Route 66 and again I spoke about the Choctaw nation as we drove within 100miles from the area. 👌🇺🇸

I am Chahta (Choctaw) I'm 80% Chahta and 20% Irish, this sculpture means a lot to me. I've considered moving to Middleton near the sculpture, found a house I would like to buy that I could be an unofficial caretaker for my days left. I owned and ran a welding truck for many years, and I certainly can appreciate the excellent work and intent. We recently made a sculpture to honor the Chahta-Irish relationship, and it's named 'Eternal Heart'. Yakoke for showing this wonderful piece of history. Excellent video in all ways.

Wow, this is a wonderful message to receive. I actually spoke about your nation recently again after I rode within 100 miles of Choctaw whilst on Route 66. I’m
actually fascinated by the relationship with Ireland. Thanks for leaving this message. 🙏🇺🇸🇮🇪

What an awesome story of kindness by people who had so little and were so persecuted themselves! The sculpture looks nice too! 🙂

An amazing piece of history and a beautiful sculpture to commemorate the kindness of the Choctaw nation, and of course top notch presentation and filming once again. Thanks Dave for introducing an aspect of the famine I knew nothing about. Encouraged further study me thinks.

My poor video on the Kindred Spirits monument sadly did terrible :D Good to see more videos on it, I'd love to see it be more and more widely known.
Alex came across brilliantly as well, great to hear the ideas behind the monument.

Dave. My wife and I are familiar with the story of the sculpture. It is a very important piece of our history. We got back from Ireland Tuesday 10th. Unfortunately we didn't make it up to Bailibouragh but still managed to put nearly 3k KMS on the rental car.
Hopefully next year. I would love to do the WWW on a bike. We spent 4 days in Donegal and could have spent longer. We did everything we planned plus more. All the very best from Canada and thank you for covering this very important piece of history
