Were going to keep attacking clingan(paraphrase) even if he gets 100 blocks" This was after Clingan got a couple blocks and influenced illinois missing layups. If somethings clearly not working, why is illinois doing the same thing? Part of the coaches job is to make adjustments. My hats off to illinois too but this felt like a game between men and boys.
If uconn wins out they will finish 37-3, which will be the best overall record since 2012 national champion Kentucky that finished 38-2. With an argument to be one of the best teams of the last 25 years. I'd still take that AD led UK team, but this uconn team is the second best team of the last 25 years IMO. (If they win out).
Vs Alabama coming up…Castle will be on Sears, Klngan will do similar as Alabama has no one just like Illinois. But Newton will guard the 3pt line and really Alabama plays no defense so likely a 95-80 type of win. Vs Purdue is going to be tough but Klingan plus Sampson is 10 fouls and UConn has better other players than Purdue does.

I have to admit that I was disappointed in Uconn. I thought they were better. It seemed like every time illinois played good d a foul was called and uconn was shooting ft's. And every time the Illini drove to the basket and got fouled their was no whistle. The discrepancy caused the 30-0 run. Uconn is the best team in the country but I wasn't impressed. And I don't care how many disagree. The whistles were the difference between a blowout and a close game
