I don't agree. They played well against Ohio, but today, despite winning big, I did not feel they were truly sharp nor solid. I'm still not convinced about Gabriel, who was given a LOT of time to pass. Oregon's receivers are quite good and very fast. I think Oregon can be beaten. Boise came close.

This year is a huge step forward, but days like this show just how far we have to go if we are ever going to get back to being able to challenge for Big 10 championships. We know we are bowl bound already with 6 wins. So what's important is getting better each week with the intent of not just going to a bowl game but winning it. The Illini need to not just go to bowl games but develop the habit of winning them.
