I tried using this, but much like Sytrus, there seems to be a randomly occuring white noise effect that I can't control. Is there a way to get rid of it? It even appears on the rendered audio file.
@TheCrulZ2348 I'm surprised that CS80V didn't work with your midi keyboard. CS80V has worked easily with every computer and every keyboard that I've thrown at it. Did you double check the midi channels? How about your midi cable?
If you want to hear a completely believable clone of the CS-80 (with all that amazing harmonic richness) try the Memory Moon ME80. It is currently only 32bit but works in 64bit DAW with 32 bit plugin capability. I firmly believe that in a blind test CS80 (a well tuned unit) connoisseur/owners wouldn't tell the difference with a real CS80. I have no idea if the Arturia clone is actually as capable as the ME80 (sound quality perspective) however the Arturia demonstrations I have heard (such as this) sound a little dry and digital. Maybe that is down to settings?
+wd25a I have them both and the ME-80 2.1 still smokes the latest version of Arturia's version. The ME-80 is fatter, more organic, and can actually get the Vangelis sounds pretty darn close with some programming work and attention to detail. Also seems to use less CPU power.

- The following is not a simple matter, first tune, and secondly the strength and purity of voice, thirdly, its complexity and its nuances, one note can be a masterpiece, but loses a speck of deceit, uncleanness sound (reverberation), voltage fluctuations, this is because sophisticated instruments are exorbitantly expensive. CS80v2 is a great tool, but you have to know how to use, adjust and add his strength right trick masters - you can walk to it yourself, I would advise to use it yourself.
I like these three songs. They each show off the character of the CS-80V.
INCREÍBLE
Hammer
Need one of those :)

sounds like you're using a demo/pirated version - they often have white noise bursts like what you're describing.
What is the difference in sound?
Where is that noise?

@@shayeasy ahh ok
A jazz demo for the CS 80?
Naaahhh
Why not?. Music makes the musician, not the instrument.
HAHA!

nevermind it works now
I'm not too keen on this synth, doesn't sound as good as a CS-80 imo. Some nice music tho!
I enjoy CS80V. I don't know if it sounds as good as a CS-80 but it sounds better than the CS80 that I don't have and that I could never afford.
sounds f*cking horrible. I'd never guess this was supposed to sound like the original if I was just listening.
