The third season of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
The dysfunctional party is back, but they may be short a member soon ’cause Kazuma is over it. Disillusioned with adventure, he wants to become a monk, but Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness call bull. However, the career dispute gets put on hold when a princess requests to hear all about their tales. Will the taste of fame at the royal castle keep them together or will this mark their farewell tour?

Supplementary info/LN changes
Fun fact: most of this episode is anime original and rearranged cut content from LN 5/the movie (Sylvia and related PTSD, Kazuma wanting to be a monk, Chris appearing, and the mallet are all anime original.) 5:17 - When Megumin held his hand, he reminisced his past (it’s implied that she’s like his childhood friend) of his childhood friend wanting to marry him, only for him to get traumatized from seeing her riding a senpai’s bike and never went back to school/became a HikiNEET and became well known in online games. This is basically why he is the way that he is/‘gender equality’ and that he has PTSD. Extra info about Tranquility Girl: the stump is part of the body, it gives a lot of EXP (like the Farfetch’d monster from KonoBakuen), and old people seek one out to die in tranquility (hence the name) by eating a placebo fruit that doesn’t feed them and they pass away in peace and painlessly.
10:17 - Kazuma’s been rich after LN 3/defeating Vanir and especially after Vanir’s business contract (300 million Eris lump sum), so he’s just less rich. 11:30 - That already happened in Season 2/LN 3. It’s similar to the movie, where Ep. 1 contains the cliffhanger ending from the previous book (the letter from Iris is how the movie should’ve ended and Ep. 2 will be the start of LN 6.)

At the end Dakness literally turned into Aqua with her desperate blubbering for she knows that the party can easily mess up and since this come from the royal family itself there is little to be done about it.
And on top we know that Darkness hates the courtly environment, that´s why she broke away from home to become an adventurer. Returning into that must be torture to her, but more like the kind of torture she did not long for - more just like when everyone learned about her real name Lalatina.
