Payton hasn’t been hurt in 2 years that is a good sign because the last 2 years he put up some impressive stats! It’s a gamble for sure but it’s worth the risk for his skill and upside of only getting better in the nfl! I like it! I’ll be getting his jersey this year

Payton is the same heigh as Jack Lambert, except he weighs more. And he is way faster... We have the Modern day Jack Lambert... On a rookie contract. The sky is the limit for him.

I think he can and probably will start this year. Depends on Holcomb. Holcomb is a legit player, but this injury I heard was pretty bad. Roberts is turning 30. I see him slowly going to a reserve role. If Holcomb isn't ready or if he can't come back, then I expect Roberts to start the year. All Wilson has to do is equal Roberts in camp. Roberts is at his ceiling. Wilson isn't. Personally, I would like to see Wilson give his body 1 year of rest and put on more muscle.
See, this is the problem I have with Goodell. They play too many games. I would rather see a 14-game season with 2 additional preseason games to put a better product on the field. Plus keep guys healthy, because at 17 games you are asking a lot from someone like Wilson to stay upright. Our whole LB room couldn't even make it through the season. Now Goodell is talking a 20-game schedule. I know it's off topic, but the NFL could get ruined in a class action over the number of players becoming vegetables in the future.

I grew up with Payton’s dad watched him grow up. He was a long and lanky kid. He played to hard as a middle school athlete. He was 6 ft in middle school. He didn’t have the frame that he has now. Even in high school he didn’t have the frame. He got it now he will hold up!

It's not a conversation bro has been healthy thank you lord for the better half of 3 years not even sniffed the bench for most of his college career that is what matters he has had a lot of surgeries in highschool and as a freshman in college then not injured since taking over as a sophomore starter in college all the way through his senior year that's more significant to me tells me he's trending in the right direction is all I'm going to say

Payton Wilson has been going full speed for four years and showing no signs of slowing down. He personally said that the injuries don't bother him. He said he plays every down as if it was his last and he won't hold back anything. He even said he is willing to die on the field. He also said he gives all the glory to Jesus and that says more about him than anything else he says. Christians should be the most positive people on earth when their security is in Christ. He obviously believe that too.
Without an ACL that 1less injury he has to worry about and modern medicine is working wonders on athletes nowadays ,plus the main thing about injuries is coming back mentally and i feel he proved that his past injuries havent affected him mentally and having played the last couple of yrs injury free shows the past hasnt slowed him down physically so i very confident in this pick Go Steelers

Imo he wont make past game 6 with out an injury that cost him at leat 2 or 3 consecutive games missed. He is way too skinny. He was okay in collage, i was not impressed by his highlights. Mark my words, he will be pushed around quite easily in the pros. And if he puts on more weight he wil just lose he speed and athleticism. Its a lose, lose situation
