Wow its cool I came upon your video! I'm planning submitting my application to the Peace Corps in december and I've been studying abroad in Thailand for 5 months! I actually understood some of the Thai you said which is a big deal for me ha. Great video thank you for the insight!
Asia Smith: I also studied abroad in Thailand but didn't learn the language. Had a blast there and still feel nostalgic about it! How's your Peace Corps plans going?
Great video. Looks like a wonderful experience. One thing I didn't see though is any kind of work that you do. Do you have an actual job that you do? Love the painted toe nails by the way!
I love the simplicity of the living, something I would love to do, but dont know if I could. I feel in my heart that I can live that way, but I dunno. I was/am thinking about joining the peace corps but still indecided what is the application process like?
nice to see the twins shirt. Im from Minnesnowta aswell . Thank you for this video I have been very interested in joining the peace corps while I am still young and Thailand was at the top of my list so thanks again.
Hey there! I'm browsing for PC videos because I'm a Tanzanian RPCV who's feeling nostalgic. Great video! It reminds me of a nice Sunday afternoon strolling in the village. Congrats picking up the language, it sounds like a tough one. Gotta ask, was your house pretty standard? Having electricity was more on the rare side in PC Tanzania. And I would've killed for PC to give me a quality bike like that.
Hey George! The house was a little nicer than most other PCVs, but fairly standard. Also, every Thailand PCV had electricity and that bike was issued to everyone. Glad you enjoyed!
Was that your dog in the video or a stray? Considering volunteering in the future. It would be nice if I could bring my dog, although I'm sure it depends on the country. Do you know how quarantine works? I need to do more research but a lot of people are against it.
Wow! Great video! I have been considering volunteering for the Peace Corps, specifically Thailand. Were you the only foreigner where you lived or did they place you with other volunteers?
They usually have other volunteers in different villages but I think usually you're on your own except for the first three months and during occasional get togethers.
Thanks for the video. I will be moving to Thailand once the country opens!
Crazy cool stuff! Makes me excited to hear back on my application. Thanks for sharing!
Great video! I'm a PCV in Southern Thailand, group 126, and I really loved watching this! Thank you for making it! :)
Thanks, Katherine. Hope you're enjoying Thailand and it's not driving you too crazy (a little crazy is okay). ;)
haha, I'm enjoying it! It's definitely a crazy adventure!

Love the Minnesota Twins shirt in the beginning! I'm from Minnesota and I am applying to the Peace Corps, in hopes of getting Thailand. :)
Did you end up going to Thailand for peace corps? I just applied for peace corps in hopes of being chosen to Thailand.
Hi Khun Jeff, I came across this vid 6 years after I became your aa-jaan! Hope you are doing great! Take care. Thanakom
Ah-Jaan Thanakom! I'm sorry to reply so late, but it's great to hear from you! Hope you're well.

What software did you use to create the image stabilisation? O.o? That is really cool!
