Peace Corps Cribs:Thailand

I’m D’Angelo, a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand. I’ll be here for two years, and not only am I committed to my service but I am also committed to documenting as much as this journey as possible. Starting a UA-cam is something I always wanted to do, but I wanted to wait until i had something to contribute.
I now feel as if I have life worth documenting. For me, this is about bridging the gap, but it is also way to connect with family who may not know what it’s like living in another country, amongst another culture, and speaking another language.
I also want this to be a space for future volunteers to frequent when the anxiety of not knowing what to expect out of service creeps in. I was that same person watching countless videos of volunteers in Thailand pre-departure trying to get an idea of what it was like. I will use my platform to showcase things to expect, but also things that happen favorably or unfavorably.

Decent accommodations, but the Western style toilet needs a good scrubing, for peace corp's sake 😂. My mother, may God rest her soul, taught us to check someone 's toilet first. She said if it looks dirty, don't eat or drink anything they offer us, it probably won't be properly clean either. She was talking about the USA, not Thailand. Judging from the rust stain, the water must be hard water. Do the best you can, I guess😊.
