Now, going to what really matters here, the race: Awesome voodoo engine sound, it always amazes me, and as I commented on Facebook, I wouldn't change my R for an ACR ever. The GT350R is a special car that will put a huge smile on those that have the privilege to drive it. Thank Ford for an amazing street-legal race car. Thank Kelly for sharing your experiences!
Ok Several have asked how I do the videos: Camera: is GoPro 9 just on a standard sticky go pro mount attached to the windshield directly hanging upside down behind the mirror? It's super solid that way and not in my visual at all. For my Phone App for all the telemetry I use Track Addict. Use Track Addict in Circuit MODE, find the map. KIWI 4 OBDII Bluetooth connectivity to Track Addicts this gives you G force, Speed, RPM and many other items SkyPro GPS on my dashboard connected by Bluetooth to Track Addict gives you quality GPS track location. When I just used my phone it would draw the map wrong and just be useless. Takes a bit of fiddling to get everything talking to the app but once you figure it out its not that bad. I would be happy to help you. ***HOW TO START IT ALL*** This is crucial to make syncing the video later easy. I start recording with GO PRO manually Then I put my three fingers up in front of the camera and do a countdown. When I hit Zero I start the Track Addict Recorder... Then later in the software you move the data start and video to the countdown to sync! Otherwise its tricky. RaceRender 3 Software Free or paid. if you use the paid version I think $35 you can design your own dials or use from like 20 templates that are all really good. Download Data file from Track Addict to the RaceRender app Copy in your video Syncronize data with Video Render video DONE Its a big process for sure. I am an IT person so I am use to fiddling with stuff. I am Not sure most people would have the patience to make all that work above, sometimes I'm to tired to mess with it hahaha.
@@chrisolevich7538 Yeah I feel the same way, I literally have no desires for the 500 even though I know its faster by numbers, but I have seen 350s beat them as well.
I am pretty sure it would beat the viper. I haven’t missed a single track day this year and have not seen a single 500 on the track yet it’s disappointing. I hope to see yours out there someday :-)
Also I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to come close to those vipers if they were really pushing it in the corners they have arrow they can do much more. That’s not these guys is local track so that’s just them warming up LOL

@@TrackDayVideo hmmmm 🤔 I've never seen or heard proff of this. I do know with cams and a ported cobra jet our cars can make 580 to 590 whp na and there's still plenty of room to make it over the 600whp mark.
A near impossible feat when you consider the weight and torque differences. The ACR is basically an engine hood with a driver seat behind it. Ugly as hell! Rolling with 400 less pounds through those turns and on the straights??? LOL

You should consider putting a dsc controller in gt350 it takes the car from a 10 to 20

Nice vid, those ACR on the straight are monsters. We don’t see lots of GT500 on track, I’m just curious how they would fare in the same situation.

Cobra jet and cams would have you right on them in the stright lines
so supposedly the 350 manifold breathes better above 7k rpm over the cobra jet
