I am about an hour east of of you and wasn't having much luck the past two year day hunting. Only calling in about 12 a season. I purchased everything needed to thermal hunt and it has been great. I have called in 58 for the year so far, but have pretty much used up all the properties I have permission to hunt on. I think I have about 35 places lined up. So if you ever want to try thermal stuff Let me know, I would bring the equipment down. I would love to experience a new area.
Appreciate the offer but I'm too hooked on the daytime...night time don't work for me too good, can't go during week cuz of work..so limited to Just weekends!....
Great video and nice set-up! Too much snow up here in Manitoba to be fun anymore so finishing up the trapline at month's end. Like you, I also use the Swagger bi-pod. Very versatile in my hilly country and was tired of the standard rigid bi-pods breaking.
@@wisconsincoyotecallin8620 have a set but I walk enough checking RAM snare baits and honestly with the amount of snow, I think canines are a little hesitant running 1/2 mile for a rabbit ha. Good luck.
Every stand I've ever made in my life is blind! I think it's funny how some people believe they have to locate! Don't get me wrong it can help! But it's far from a must! I do have many blank stands but also kill a lot!
I'm jealous lol I haven't killed a yote in a while now, but I got me a nice kill on a fox. Tell me about your seat and where can I purchase one......nice hunting 🤙🤙
Man, number 8 of the year! I have not had any luck yet! It's great to have guys letting you know where there may be a few coyotes. I have to ask you one question, lol How loud are you playing ya sound files generally. I understand it may vary but let's say the first howl of the morning what volume level do you start on? I'm using a lucky duck as well, Its top volume is 30 I believe, I'm assuming yours is the same? Great video once again!!!
Thanks for watchin! Typically on a calm day I'm starting volume for howls about 18ish! If it's windy, I'm starting about 22-24...prey distress just a touch below those levels!
I missed a double Friday morning past, gun was off 8 inches high and right of the target… been at it for a decade and it was my first double I ever called in…😢
Nice job on the moving coyote - those shots are never easy. I did have a question on your set-up. You mentioned you were set up in the wide open but it looked like you could have tucked into the bushes on the nearby field edge. What was the reason to set up in the field? Was it the wind direction or something else that made you decide on your final location?
There were some rises in the field that would have prevented us from seeing more then about 30 yards...where we set up we could see quite a ways in most direction...

Love the video. I stopped using a decoy on my caller because they sometimes become fixated on it and won't stop. Nice shooting.
Thanks for watching!!

Swagger are the only way to go for hunting hilly terrain!
Also, a good pair of snow shoees makes a huge difference!

Nice shot!!! You put in right in the boiler!!! I hate it when they get hit too far back.
For sure!!!
Nice shot ... I like how the hind legs went forward as the front legs collapsed at the knees.
That was a good decision on shooting it on the move. If they reach the caller and get a good smell they’ll haul ass
1000%, they bolt, fast! So I took the shot!
Do you locate them first or just go in there and set up?

@@wisconsincoyotecallin8620 its aggravating here in ny. Thanks for the reply.
Nice shot man. I have the Tikka 300 Win. Deadly. Well done. Up here in Maine they kill a ton of Turkeys and deer fawn. Rabbits don’t stand a chance.
Appreciate it!
Congratulations good hunt. Always enjoy your dialogue.
Thanks jay!
Great video guys!! Keep laying them down!!
Thanks for watchin

Awesome job 👏 👍
What suppressor are you using?
Nice job guys I live 10 miles from where you hunt haven’t had any luck here yet.
Keep after it and it will happen
What Stock do you have on your gun? I like the way the Swagger sits on it.
It's just a browning xbolt...but in the target/varmint Long range
Good job!!

@WisconsinCoyoteCallin
Awsome job! I'm jealous of the snow you have. Here in Ontario Canada we have none.
@Tim Pavy that's crazy you guys usually always have snow it seems!
