The only original and true king of the Dancehall.Any other claim about being King of the dancehall is a lie and outright false statement.Yellowman is and always will be the only king of the dancehall.
All who abandoned yellow did not know he was a seed planted in good soil. Yellow is the golgen child with the gden hair. Love and blessings to yellowman. One of Jamaica's greatest artist! ❤😊
Aah, bless him. I was never fond of the "slackness," he sang about, but have admired his resilience and how he made it against the odds. He overcame all the obstacles placed in his path and used them as stepping stones, to reach his goal. Makes me wonder what is happening to Jamaican youths today, who do not have the life threatening illness Yelloman has to cope with, yet they are throwing away their lives like a rabid dogs.
I saw him here in North Florida, about 10 years ago. He is an inspiration to most of us, his reliance and ability to use his condition to be a successful artist is indeed remarkable. Much blessings to him and his family 🙏🙏🌹❤️
Yellowman was in the Goldvibes Studio in the night from 19.06.2005-20.06.2005 after his Concert in the famous Gleis22 in Münster (Germany). I was a very nice Session in the small Studio with him. The night was very tropical, I will always remember this. Yellowman is a very nice Person as far as I can say and for sure the King of Dancehall 💛
Yellowman is indeed the king of Dance hall. I was around to remember it. Great days indeed. It's crazy but Yellowman reminds me of myself how I used to look. We look very similar. But we are different races. We've got that kind of John Denver look about us. No disrespect to yellow. Hope y'all get what I'm saying. Big up to Yellowman the dancehall hero 🙏❤️
Yellowman, a great inspiration and mentor for achievement in not only musical careers but all aspects of ones development. 2025 Best Wishes to Elite crew and the one and only Yellowman 🎉❤ 🎉
He was doing well, I was very proud of him when he sang over Blue Berry Hill. I beautiful rendition, I must say! until he forgot that it was God that saved his life, and helped him when he started singing "Under Me" If you want Jesus, come under me." I knew there and then it was over for him as a dance hall king, as he claimed to be..
You is da G.O.A.T of Dancehall cimi Godking realtalk ur da bestest fimi. Blessings. ❤💙❤️💯🙌🏾🙌🏾🇯🇲🇯🇲🇨🇦🏹 I grew up a yawd wit dis wonderful bredda seen many of his performances as a yute, juss great memories mon. Blessings.
I saw Legendary King Yellow Man🤴perform in Norfolk Virginia with my bestie when we were in the military, inna dancehall when combat boots come off🥾 Thanks for enlightening Me about his resilient background. Respect and Abundance💛👑 I’m Getting Married In The Morning👰🏽♀️ 🎶
King Yellow have too much big chune fi just pick 1 favorite. Me like Mr Chin, Zungu, I'm Getting Married In The Morning and others. My favorite memory of him is from back in the early 80s when he lived on Harbour Rd in Rockfort. The house, curtains, wall and his BMW were all yellow. It was a joy for me as a yout to regularly see a celebrity in the neighborhood.
I remember growing up in Trinityville in the 1980’s and being called “yellow” due to my lighter complexion than most people in the area. The color association still persist to this day, as when I visit family in Jamaica they will often refer to me by my complexion instead of my name. So I can empathize with Yellow Man and some of his struggles.
I don’t take anyone, Jamaican or otherwise, who have lists of the greatest dancehall artists without naming Yellow Man as #1 or a tie for #1 with Early B (only death stopped his continued rise to the top of the charts) 👌🏽
Most of these Young ones ĥavent got a clue...He taught them how to get payed as a DJ in the Eighties....Yellow Manz Live show in london in the Early Eighties was played by everyone on the Islands /Cassette of Yellow Live in England/,b4 your favourite DJ ,and he held that position till he was hit again with Cancer...Yellow Man was playing on the Radio Stations across the Islands in the early 80s,b4 any other DJ...through out the Cartibean islands...
That series will be resumed shortly, as you know youtubers get paid according to viewership and those videos don't garner alot of views, however I enjoy making those videos so maybe in the next month or even before. Stay blessed
I was not familiar with him,ut on a visit back to Jamaica about 1981/82, I saw him waking on a popular street, I do not remember the name. My favorite song was, if you see me running, a hundred sexy women chasing me,

God had no play, was his surgeons and strong will to survive that saved him.
He never sang any tune Under Me, he did "Under Me Fat Thing" If you want Jesus, come under me, not in his lyrics.
There wasn't a song like that which you are talking about, and really, what does and God have to do with anything
I remember growing up he was the only dj my parents would listen to.Soldier take over was the hit for us
