Hi, my grinder alarm keep blinking even if switching it off what does it mean. I have tried to clean removing hopper and clean and follow all the procedure but still blinking
Sorry for the late reply . I'm assuming your using the same beans? I find personally that when using a fresh batch even if my grinder is at 2 ( where I normally keep it) the first couple of times it will come out a little coarse but this usually works itself out after making a coffee or two. Unfortunately there isn't any fine adjustments you can make, like half values or quarter values like a dedicated grinder. See if you get the same results with a different coffee or bean type. I'm curious to understand more and hopefully we can figure the problem cheers.
My steamer on the la specialista is not working. It does not get hot and the light (steam sign) keeps on blinking and after few minutes the red warning light turns on. Got it fixed once with Delonghi but after 4/5 months same problem. Warranty ran out and Delonghi told me that it will cost ~$250 to repair. Is it a common issue? Any idea how to fix it by DIY?
Thank you for the kind words . I have no idea about repairing issues. Sorry to hear your warranty expired. Whichever retail you purchased your machine , then perhaps see if you can purchase an extended warranty it may be cheaper . Otherwise $250 is much cheaper than buying a new machine and a warranty should be covered for the repair. It sucks either way.
I personally clean it if I'm changing the bean type otherwise once a month or every other month. There really isn't an ideal time frame, that's just what I personally do. 😁
Because you can't absolutely ensure that the burrs on grinder are free of moisture. You definitely don't want any water in your bean grinder/ hopper . That's a sure fire way to decrease the longevity of the machine. Hopefully that helps . 🙂

thanks for your demo did you know about lifting the hatch you can also use the little wire brush to poke any coffee grounds out
You unlocked the grinder by turning anti clockwise, however when replacing the grinder you didn't turn it clockwise to lock it in 😊

@@aleksandrb4154 I’ve now started to grind plain rice. It cleans out the grinder burr’s, just flush it through with a few coffee beans afterwards.

I have the same model but with an M after the numbers. There is no lock/unlock and it won't turn.
Our machine wont grind the coffee for some reason. Theres a red basket icon though. Do you have a fix for this? Thank you!
A red basket icon usually indicates that the hopper is empty and needs to be filled with beans
Little help, please. I cleaned grinder and it still sometimes blocks when it grinds. Like it gets stuck in the middle of grinding the beans.
How often should I vacuum the greener
I try to clean it out when I descale the machine, or when I change to a different bean.
I've cleaned out the burrs and put back together but the orange clean coffee burr doesn't go away.
