What a joke the scores for Konoa, especially on the wave at 5:10. He risked it all in the end. His airs didn't have as much height or speed, but he embraced the risk, and he wasn't rewarded once, not a single wave above a 6, ridiculous.
I like hating on WSL judges but he didn't do anything to deserve >6. That last wave would have been solid if he had completed the air at the end, but he didn't.
My friend Igarashi tends to be overscored it's the first time that I saw the judges not overscore his waves. If you think he won that heat you are smoking crack.
Kanoas airs were on weak waves and didnt risk much going only 2ft in the air. You see colapintos Airs in the next heat? It was on wave 3x bigger and atleast 12ft in the air, which got him a perfect 10 score.
Quite interesting. Windshield wiper reentry. But no one ever says off the lip anymore. Another interesting thing is people complained of numb feet but no one wore booties... One more thing if the guys going left the server should be in the far left of the screen and we should be able to see what's coming up better than if you put the surfer in the middle of the screen. Same goes for going right the surfer should be to the far right of the screen so that we can see what's coming up I really don't need to see his butt cheeks flex. I'd rather see why he's making decisions or she's making decisions about the wave.
Very clear Florence caught better waves and had better rides on those waves. His backhand is as strong as his forehand.

カノア、最後逆転したかと思ったけど足りなかったみたい。何かジョンジョンやスレーターが出るとジャッジの採点が他の選手より高くなる気がする。サーフィンも採点競技だからオリンピックで行われるフィギュアスケートやスノーボードの様にもっと明確な採点基準を設けてジャッジングした方が良いわ、まだイメージ的要素を重視される傾向が払拭出来ておらず公平さに欠けている気がする。
