  • Genji is a beautiful hero- it's just facts. A fluid hero design, satisfying mechanics, a thrilling ult, and a unique feel- there's nothing not to love. However, he's one of the most difficult heroes in all of OW2 to master. Thankfully, Coach Spilo is here to help, with basic (and advanced) playstyle advice on how to master the cyborg ninja.

    Such a good student! Open minded, thinking, not defensive or guarding themselves. I liked this coaching vid, but I have to appreciate a person with a great mindset towards improvement!

    I play echo/tracer, so this was super helpful as a flanker main. I need to think more about exit strategy/cover usage. In lower elos you can just rely on shock and awe and don’t need to worry about engagement timing and cover usage cause people miss their shots… this is extremely useful, I’ve literally seen so many similarities to my own gameplay in this vid.

    Spilo this was a great video. I’m glad you’re pumping out so much content, it’s great. I left a comment a few months ago criticizing your theatrics you seemed to be leaning into…. No idea if you even read it, but your mind for this game is exceptional.

    He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2. Great advice, no cussing, and a Christian quote. I don't usually sub on the first video but I'll always do it for someone who meets good character.

    I remember some good players recommending deflecting fire strikes all the time in ow1, but I guess this does not work that well nowadays

    • @CoachSpilo
      @CoachSpilo  Рік тому +5

      some coaches still recommend it- it's just in general not good advice. If you're in a position stacked with your tank to deflect fire strikes beyond super-early fight, you're trolling positioning wise. Oh well!

      @@dravenbluesummers lmao ik i wasn't very specific in my comment and I'm sorry for that. What I meant is that when facing Mei you need to move unpredictably at a safe distance so that it's harder for her to land icicles, so you poke on her shooting your shurikens and forcing cryofreeze as soon as possible. When her CD is gone close up the space after dealing some damage and take her down with a combo. Mei's hitbox is very big and she's not agile/has no mobility so it shouldn't be a problem from here. Just be sure to dive in with full health in case something goes wrong. And for moira it's very simple too, stay away from her (as her succ reaches a bit farther than Mei's beam, totally negating a vital cooldown) the strat to take her down is basically the same as w Mei.
      For Zarya there is not much you can do (which suxs balls) so unless you're Necros or smn you aint gon do anything. She can bubble her the teammates that you're diving, thus wasting your precious time and CDs, grav you in order to stop dragonblade, it's just a pain in the ass to deal with her so at that point you should just switch to bastion or reaper or whatever. Zarya is just so fucking broken man.
      That's my advice as a novice Genji enjoyer lol

    • @evilhippo887

    • @CB-xp9ew
      @CB-xp9ew Рік тому

      @overwatch 2 hater I guess so, I say wrist aiming since I have my elbow on my chair's arm rest, it pivots from there. My wrist rests on the mousepad, so I can move my arm a little bit, but it's mostly my wrist.
