    I knew it was going to be my last model ever in about 1975, so i took extra care: it had everything, motors in the engines, landing lights, cockpit lights. Fab.

    Mosquito came out nice, especially the two crew figures

    I painted all 12 of my airfix 1/72 models in black as night fighters to attack the HE111 on my ceiling it cost me a fortune in fishing line and hooks but it great at the time when you shone a torch up at them. But then came wonen and alcohol..............

    I think the Mosquito museum in North London just off the M25 has 3 airworthy planes but they done fly often to keep them available

      I drive past that place so many times but for some reason still haven't been in.

    they have one just rebuilt in the Texas airforce a couple yrs ago i believe it was a BBC doc and it fully working and flew. Mossy is one of my favorite along with the Hurricane.

      Oh OK I never knew that. I'll have to check it out. Yeah mozzy is a great plane. One of my favorites to.
