It can still do fine lines, and smooth thick lines, but I just wonder if my pen is faulty. :/
I have a xp pen deco mini 7 And I downloaded the right driver too But when I try to draw on krita the lines are very light at normal pressure sensitivity and I have to use a lot of pressure to draw a line can you tell me what to do?

You need to enable pen input in the Autodesk Sketchbook program and also select a suitable brush which changes with pressure. I have not used this software so I cant give you the exact steps to do it though.. I know in Krita you need to turn on a pen pressure button, and then select a brush which varies line thickness according to pressure. Then you need to download and install the viekk driver. Have a look at my unboxing video for veikk a30. I show you how to download and install it in that video
It's HS64 Huion limited edition, Sorry what I meant by software it's the driver. I even tried adjusting the pen pressure but even there, it's still the same. For now I am waiting for a newer driver version.
without touching pen on tablet just by hovering my pen pressure showing 8191 and when i am using it in photoshop just by hovering my pen is active with max pressure
Then you have to install the Huion driver, in that software you can find where to change pen pressure sensitivity. The software will look different, but the graph should function similarly

which software are you using?
for an example, in Krita or Photoshop, there are different brush types which change opacity or thickness or both..
@@Kalartistry Ohhh, thank you so much! I am using Krita, and now that I've changed the brush, its working!
Hello~ may i ask what art software you used for this?
The pressure sensitivity settings is not done in the art software. It should be in the driver software of your pen tablet.
My pen tablet is veikk, so I'm doing it in veikk driver software.
You can use any art software with it, I use Krita and photoshop both
I got my pen tablet three years ago. My driver is broken and I can't find it. My computer has also been rebooted twice throughout the years. My pen tablet's brand is also not very well known, therefore I can't find much help to fix the lost pen pressure. I have been painting without any pen pressure and it sucks but sometimes I still get along with it. any advice?
Seems like the youtuber hasn't replied. What brand do you have?
@@ashishhembrom3905 honestly, i dont really know. I live in Asia and my country is Philippines, so here we have lots of products with no clear brands. Just happened we bought one that didn't have a specific brand, and a model too. I can't seem to find the product online, let alone the site it is from. Ive been looking for it ever since I had it, and its been three years. I cant find the driver online, the brand, the model, its basically just a tablet with no brand. The box has been disposed too, i believe since i can't find it elsewhere.
@@hahqhq5409 I would say use the opacity and flow to paint either lightly or to give a heavy stroke. I had the same issue as well but with wacom intuos small of all tablets. I continued a year without that pressure option. And it wasn't cheap for me at least here in India. I'm pretty sure your tablet brand was a cheap knock off of popular brands so what I'd probably do is download drivers from other brands and see if it works. Most likely the technology and coding is the same. If it doesn't then try using opacity and flow from your software brushes to control your strokes.
Edit:
There are several brands and models that you have to try it out with though. There's Huion, xp pen, veikk, gnomon, parblo, etc. Let me know if it works or go for option 1.
@@ashishhembrom3905 good news and bad news. I looked at my tablet last night as i sent the reply and apparently, it's brand is JW Concept, and the model is XP-03 i believe. I went to their site and it's from Silvertec. The site is blank, there's no information about the prodect and looks hella cheap. Either way, i requested my parents for an upgrade and we're now going to purchase XP Pen Deco 01 V2! Its good for android and PC use. So i guess that's that, thank you for replying to my concern!
@@hahqhq5409 hooray!! Glad to hear that!! I've been saving up for xp pen deco pro medium. College starts soon this September for me. Best of luck to both of us.
Omg finally a helpful tutorial!!thank u so much u r amazing!

I m using veikk a50 i brought it yesterday. My brush line starts showing on screen after a specific distance i draw on tablet it dont start immediately can u tell me its solution.
Mmm..🤔Sounds like a lag, what is the software you using? May be its too powerful for your computer.. try installing a smaller software like krita, i guess that will work
@@Kalartistry oh, now i get it. Thanks. i was using animate cc.
Sure, you are most welcome...happy to help..😊😊
@@prajwalkonde4702 That animating program got far lagger than it was in a 2019 update, i dont like it anymore, im going for blender now, that its heavy too but because its 3-2d program, so it mercy it xd, what ever u do, dont go for opentoonz, it seems cool but that program its a nightmare, i hardly recommend u toon boom harmony, insane program

Ooh.. I've never used a Wacom before. But I can be sure the Veikk surfaces are soo smooth and easy to draw. I suggest you to contact the wacom seller and make a complaint
What kind of wacom tablet did you get
how do u make the pen sensitivity higher
Hi, you should adjust the graph in the device driver software as I showed in this video
How to get that settings. On. My. Tablet. i. Cannot. Find. Pleasee. Help.
These settings are found in your tablet driver software. What is your tablet brand?
Ever since I go my apple pen it won’t let me draw on ibis paint x unless if I turn it rlly down :(((
Sorry to hear that.. honestly I have no experience in using apple pen.. 🤔
can u tell me how i no is my laptop is pen support or not
Is it a windows laptop? It would work for windows xp, 8 or 10
How do i see the "cursor" of the pen when i plug it in the device (PC/Laptop)?
Cursor is going to be the mouse, when you hover your pen over the tablet, it will move similar to moving the mouse.
@@Kalartistry Thank you so much. Where exactly to find the cursor settings so I could see it on the PC/Laptop or what to change for me to see it? I'm using Windows 10. Should I make sure that the device has been plugged in to the PC before changing the settings?
Very useful. Thanks for the explanation 👌
You are most welcome 😊🥰
can I use pen tablet on the Paint?

Does the pressure show up properly in the driver software?
If it does, then there is some issue with your drawing software settings, try a few different software or try changing software settings in your drawing app
@@Kalartistry no in driver software it doesn't show any pen pressure
@@Kalartistryalready tried different drawing software but the results is still same...even in desktop i cannot click on any icon..it detect my pen i can move cursor but I can't click on anything
Will this work in windows 10?
Yes it will
I'm heavy handed. So I had to adjust it. So my lines weren't all of a sudden getting huge and thick.
Did you try with few other art softwares? Eg. If you are only trying in photoshop try with another software like Krita
Thanks for the video
You are most welcome ☺️
Mam, I am facing problem that Pen writes before toughing the surface of tab.
Please suggest
Pen has hover support, maybe your drawing app detects hover has draw input? What is the software you are using..
Thanks ham Sab ko shikane ke liye
Hi thanks 😊😊.. but please comment in english..😇
Thanks a lot of
You can always modify the lines afterwards if you use light pen pressure or no pen pressure.
I just brought the two dots to the complete end and kept a straight line lol 😂 now I know
haha, that works too!
where do I find it? The adjuster I mean
These settings are in the driver software. The software is different for each brand. Here I am showing the driver software for viekk, what tablet do you have?
@@Kalartistry I have The same tablet as yours actually! If you can please help me!
Then you need to download and install the viekk driver. Have a look at my unboxing video for veikk a30. I show you how to download and install it in that video
@@Kalartistry Alright! Thsnk you so much for being such a good teacher!
I don't know what happened to my pen pressure it's gone now I tried updating the tablets software but it's still not there 😢
What is your tablet? Can you try to reinstall the driver software and check
It's HS64 Huion limited edition, Sorry what I meant by software it's the driver. I even tried adjusting the pen pressure but even there, it's still the same. For now I am waiting for a newer driver version.
The other thing to check is your drawing app.
For example in Krita there is a toggle to turn pressure sensitivity on and off.
Why is mine applying pressure even tho im not applying pressure to the tablet I'm just hovering above it
I think your pen pressure graph need to be adjusted. Let's try doing that and see.
@@Kalartistry hey i fixed it thank you

How to get erase option in my huion stylus
Do you mean the erasor? Usually I select the eraser and use the stylus as same as I use a brush
Yeahh ... your video is very useful, and cool. I like your video. Hi my friend! I hope we are connected.
Thanks alot.. sure I'll check out your channel
@@Kalartistry Thank you
How do I get into the screen at 0:16?
That is the driver software of Veikk, what is the tablet you are using?
@@Kalartistry I'm using a Huion q11k
Then you have to install the Huion driver, in that software you can find where to change pen pressure sensitivity. The software will look different, but the graph should function similarly

Thanks a lot
