- Khaled asked me to film a response against fans who are asking him if he changed his name back to Awa. Basically he says his name was Awa before converting, and no, I didn't ask him to convert. I don't know what he really follows. But I don't care about that. I care if the person is honest and good hearted. He claimed to be a Muslim before I met him and he has papers from Dubai Islamic center way before I met him in August 2020. I want to work with straight people, not double faced people. No one will ever work with double faced people and they will eventually be exposed (time will tell and their real intentions). He said maybe someone misunderstood him (IMO that person who allegedly lied is an honest person) and said something which triggered the hateful armwresling fans out there. Again, I don't know but am fulfilling his wish for a video.
He also said to inform everyone that he is not Nigerian and that was only a rumor by his haters. He also said will not stop MMA at all cost to start Armwrestling. He said also his haters are making up these lies. He said AW will be there as a side fun thing but without training (and yes, he said he didn'ttrain for SB and Bowen match). That is his saying.

So basically, someone has put out a video accusing Alawadhi of turning Khaled into a muslim? If that is the case guys just ignore it, between you, you both know the truth and that's all that matters.

I've been following Khaled's arm wrestling for a quite a few months now and I have to say I've always been very impressed with Khaled's demeanor and the way he represents himself in general. There are a lot of interesting characters in arm wrestling and I think Khaled is doing a great job of entering that world in a graceful, respectful way with just the right amount of entertainment factor. He is great for the sport! Sorry you're receiving unwanted commentary from random people on the internet but just remember they are just that, random people. Don't give them too much power by dignifying their comments with a response. Although, I understand why you spoke out in this instance. I hope people give you the respect you deserve because I've seen nothing but respect from you since I've been following you. Keep up the good work brother!

Religion is a personal choice and it has nothing to do with any other person. between a person and his God. as for the name you heard it from the man, obviously Awa is his birth name and will always be his name, as with many converts they love the religion and choose to be closer by choosing a name to reflect their love. Khalid don't get upset brother, these things will become more frequent, you are a well known person in the arm-wrestling grip and upcoming in the MMA sport . you need to let it go unless it is getting out of control.
