There are plenty of yachts that are bigger and more expensive, but this is perhaps the most tasteful one I have ever seen. The woodwork is amazing and the Captain's quarters are the best I've ever seen.
Thirty five million for a fiberglass boat, personally for that money i'd rather have steel or aluminum, or a combination, especially for cruising in the far north and far south, still, it is a stunning boat.
I said that too. The Numarine 37XP also has 6 cabins and is only 12M euros. A 140' Bering is 22M. And with both of those, you can get an extra ice belt added, although in the Bering you don't need it and on Numarine boats you can get special ice belt. On Bering they have the chines set up so if you ran over anything like a log, you wouldn't damage the engines, or the hull or the rudder. The stabilization fins are designed to fold in automatically in hard impact. Avoid you Wrecking the fins, but allows you to roll away from whatever it is too. I'm sure they beefed this up though...I hope.
I was thinking down the same lines . Imagine trying to get out of a small inlet with even the thinnest ice in November ! Could be very damaging ! And very expensive ! I would like to have a boat I could take to Naples in May and return I Oct. This is NOT the boat for that ! It is a Caribbean boat ONLY . DML

Wait, you don't like the interior design but you're ok to fork over the millions because the crew quarters are good? 🤣 I'm just curious about the reasoning. Do you plan to stay in the crew quarters or ?
@@igormac9431 I’m not ok to fork over millions that don’t have. What I said what I like the crew space especially the galley up and galley down orientation. If I had millions to outfit a vessel, this is the orientation I’d go with. I can fork over Monopoly money for now 😌

I hope someone buys it, because Christenesen needs the money to open its new shipyard on Tellico Lake, Tennessee. The new yard is mostly, but not quite fully, ready to go. They sold the Washington State yard, and unless they open the Tennessee yard, Jackpot will be Christensen's last yacht. I'd hate to see that happen.
I do agree this is a beautiful boat on the outside. As for the interior especially the cabins a little outdated though the master bath was stunning. The lounge area's also need some work with better furnishings and maybe get rid of the carpets. Deck space very nice.
Do you guys do any kind of wheelchair accessible boats? I know alot of people that would watch if you did. I could even share content like that in the many support groups I'm in. Theres alot of us in wheelchairs that still live life and would love to see what's accessible in the World.
Hi Joe, unfortunately I've been unable to source wheelchair accessible yachts in our listings and charter fleet. Please inquire to sales@denisonyachting.com to request more information!
The Overblue yacht/houseboat crosses are single-level and at least relatively wheelchair-friendly. You might need to check for width of doors and passageways, but there's no stairs or curbs.
I agree that accessible yachts serve both older guests and disabled guests. This is a must have for my family. There are several yachts with elevators from about $10 million but you need to look. Double check door widths and whether you can access the sun deck. The best choices exceed 200 ft.
If they would have built this boat using a steel hull and an aluminum super structure then that removes the use of fiberglass because if for some reason reminds me of if a fire starts at night while most people are asleep, that fire can grow rather quickly and you could lose the whole boat. But steel doesn't burn and so much quicker and easier to get the fire out. I forgot to mention that toxic smoke that gets going everywhere and you can not breathe it when fiberglass burns. Other than that, this is a 98/100 when it comes to buying this boat. To get the 2 extra points, they need to put that interior into a steel hull and in an aluminum super structure. They made a piece of art when they built this boat an I along with alot more people love it. Sleeps up to 16 guest and 11 crew members, thats alot. Of all the places we got to see on this video, I was most impressed and drawn to the ships engineering room with the work shop, and I was thinking about different types of tools he will need to make parts if and when they ever got stranded on the water and they needed to get going again and can't wait for parts to get flown in. Having the correct tools you can build almost anything if you know how. An I do. Yes I loved all the bedrooms and I being a single older gentleman, I'd only need an enjoy to be in the engineer's bedroom even if I was the owner of this ship mainly because each time I get one of my great ideas I have another work area to start building it. I do Love this boat, but please follow what Bering Yachts are doing because there are more an more people wanting their type because of the 8mm steel hull i think it is 8mm, for peace of mind knowing that its not going to burn an put black toxic smoke everywhere and choke everyone trying to escape from the smoke and fire. I don't think I have ever gotten to see what one of those emergency life rafts actually look like opened up sitting on the water and what type of extras do they have inside each one. If I was out on a huge beautiful ship and we had to get into the life rafts, I'd want all my family with me and if they happen to get into a different life raft than I did, you can bet on it I'll use the very best and strongest rope we have to join my raft with theirs so I know they are safe and ok until we get found by the Coast Guard. Also on all boats its the law the boat company and the owners must provide emergency life jackets and several throwable rings with a rope to bring them back in to the boat. But what about on these fiberglass hull boats and super structure of fiberglass, should they oass a new law stating they also must provide a respirator hood to get past the black smoke and to fight it for everyone to help put the fire out until the call from the capitan saying abandon the ship everyone to their life rafts. An Please 8f you go out boating with children, please teach them what to do, where to go wait for you and dont jump in the water incase any sharks come in for the feast.
Wow. That is one hell of a gin palace. I would not call it an explorer though. With a fibreglass bottom how reliable would it be in ice or where logs are common? Losing £35 million after hitting flotsam would hurt in more ways than one.

Overall, it was a very beautiful yacht. But, it does have a couple of deficiencies. The lack of a great beach club on the transom is a show stopper for me.
