"Tired of getting overlooked for jobs? My ATS resume-writing skills are top-notch. I know what keywords and formatting recruiters look for, so you can stand out in the crowd." 🔍✅
Recommendations works better. I know because someone in the company I am currently vying to join recommended my resume to be evaluated. Now I have finished all three iv stages. I did apply the same position several years ago by just clicking the conventional way and it went nothing. I am hoping to get the job but if I fail, now I know networking is the ultimate way.
@jeffsu thank you for the useful tips, today I learned something new. Unfortunately this search for HR Manager only yielded a long list of posts from fellow unemployed HR. It just goes to show it's a terrible time to be in HR.
No worries I used your tip for the keyword tool - word cloud - and it wasn't great for tech jobs - i found a really good hard & soft skills keyword tool, and thought it might make a good video for you - help your community? Can i send the link via LinkedIn? I am not affiliated to the product - dan king @@JeffSu
Same here, clicking all filters brings up Sort by, Date posted, From member, From Company, posted by, mentoring member, mentoring company, author industry, author company, Author Keywords, but no location .
Brooooo marry me I love your information can you please tell how to write resume and cover letter for big companies like Google Amazon and some hacks for it
How do we message them? They are not in our networks most of the time. And they don't ever respond back on inmails and take forever to accept our connection requests. By the time they do accept and reply back (rarely) the job position is gone.
I'll be honest. If you can't figure out, how to navigate a site that is literally set up, to find job postings, you shouldn't get into any managerial position.
Best looping transition ever lol
Haha thanks!!!
🤘 😎
Only 2 minutes but packed with useful advice. Thanks for sharing Jeff
My pleasure!
Please it didn’t work for me .Can you help me
I'm going to start calling you the LinkedIn man.
Sounds like the name of an extremely boring superhero but...i'll take it 🦸🏻
@@JeffSu lol!

I'm so sorry to hear that :(
Thanks, Jeff, but how do I filter for posts by people based in US?
Use the location filter 😁

I read so many recruiters posting in LinkedIn that DM as a result from this will be ignored. they only accept recommendations.
Yes recruiters just ignoring DM's.
To be honest these days recruiters just using LinkedIn for increasing followers and connections only 😢😢
thanks
You're welcome my friend 😁
❤💯
😁😁
can not find the location option tho , great tip btw
Oh that's weird, did you follow the steps?
@@JeffSu yes but there is no county in the filters

Have you checked out the resume and cover letter videos on my channel?
even with li kedin premium it is giving only 5-10 inmail credits only. any suggestions ?
Be intentional about who you message
how do you filter by country? I'm getting US not UK, cheers
Use the location dropdown!
yeah also searcing for a solution for it as well
Very useful tip! Thank you 😊
You're very welcome!
how would it help if you are not looking for hr rather biz dev cmo etc?
Same logic applies 😁
For post date, should we do past week or past month?
Up to you! Past month for a wider range!
But how to dm them as it requires inmail which is limited to 2 to 5. Please help!
If you're in the same LinkedIn group you can message anyone in that group for free 😁
I am only seeing my 1st degree connections
Where?
What is author company?
how to switch linkedin form business account to student account because by mistakly I create it
Create another account 😁
@@JeffSu can I use business LinkedIn as a work linkedin account
@@vikasyadav-zc5uv not recommended since unless you own a business you probably wanna use a personal account

By the time they do accept and reply back (rarely) the job position is gone.
You start by adding value and commenting on their posts first 😁
@@JeffSuThanks
Jeff, how do I apply a filter for job opportunities in a specific location? Like, for a specific country?
Thanks in advance!
Ishita
Job tab on LinkedIn and filter by country 😁
@@JeffSu I appreciate your response
Also, I’m using Job scan for ATS proofing my resume. Is this something you’d recommend?
@@JeffSuis there a way to filter posts by location?? I tried but not finding a way to crack it
@@saudmussadiq7180 Yes start with a blank search, you can filter by location
@@JeffSu I tried but location filter is not there it is only available in job section not normal post search
Wait, how the hell do I DM them? I need to purchase Premium now? CMON 😩
You don't. You just need to be in the same group to DM anyone for free on LinkedIn 😁
@@JeffSu how do I be in same group? Connect?
@@defencemasta You join a LinkedIn group :)
Check out my latest long form video on 8 LinkedIn tools

i am a junior without experience and just want to find the first job asap, any advice?
Check out my full length linkedin networking videos, and i have a video called "how to network with zero working experience"

May I upload this video on LinkedIn ?
Sure go for it 😁
how to do this saerch with specific country
Filter for country
@@JeffSu you cant do this in general search u can do this only if you open icon of jobs, if u can do pls show us vid
Hey hi! How do we understand which ones are fake and which aren't in LinkedIn
What do you mean by fake?
@@JeffSu i mean there are many fake job postings , how can we differ them from the actual ones?
