It’s not all about size. When taking everything into consideration, Chris was winning “The Show” IMO. Bodybuilding is subjective and depends on what the judges value more (size, symmetry, conditioning, stage presence). This was exciting and if Chris decides to continue in open it would be so fun but that’s for Chris to say!

Chris should have one period .
The insane feathering in Martins quads compared to none on CBum says a lot.
CBum with 4 weeks, same as Martin, but went from Classic to Open, and best condition by a MILE, he was the real winner. Congrats to all the athletes.
He wasnt..Martin smoked him..size, filled out his frame..CBUM back is shallow and arms and forearms are weak.
CHRIS STILL THE PEOPLES CHAMP, CONGRATS MARTIN!!!!!!!
chris got robbed
Martin looked a lot calmer and more relaxed at the finals. He looked rattled a bit during pre judging.
Also, why are people saying Chris was more detailed? Martin's quads are knurled and better than Chris. Abs, same case. There's no section where Chris was better than Martin other than height 🤔
The Glowing Glizzy God!
Alliteration is fun 😄
It’s not all about size. When taking everything into consideration, Chris was winning “The Show” IMO. Bodybuilding is subjective and depends on what the judges value more (size, symmetry, conditioning, stage presence). This was exciting and if Chris decides to continue in open it would be so fun but that’s for Chris to say!
, Chris looked amazing the total package, condition perfect lines I really thought he was going to win
If you just see men's open as how it was once meant; size, symmetry, leanness and aesthetics, it's a tragedy that the judges preferred fitzwater's physique.
I find it sad that Martin's win is overshadowed by CBum's 2nd place.
Martin is still bigger then Chris, and this is open guys if he had another 20lbs of muscle i recon he would have taken the tittle easy.
Thank you
Yeah for someone his height and said he was weighing 248 a few days before the show he didn't really look out sized like I and most thought he might look but he definitely held his own up there
Im happy that the outcome was fair!
The judges thought: "What is the result that will most motivate Chris to continue in the Open?" and placed him second.
Clearly not, they placed him correctly
It’s almost like they judged based on who’s a better open bodybuilder instead of thinking about open bodybuilding popularity.
@@Therealdudemanhow dare they 😂
If it was anything political I'm sure they considered it would be a bad look, and wouldn't gain anything from Chris beating their #4 open guy considering Chris is retired. Chris is retired, him competing or coming back is all speculation at this point.
With a little time and calories Chris would an awesome sight and a legitimate threat in the open category. I sure would love to see the open guys leaning towards symmetry over size.
ROBBERY.
I’m not trying to be a homer but I think Chris looked incredible and would’ve gave him the win
You can clearly see on the footage how he was enjoying the show. As a fan, I couldn't be happier.
Cbum should have won imho. This was cool and exciting for bodybuilding either way.
So sad they didn’t choose cbums shape over martins size
dude this is open, size does matter bro, maybe if chris had 20 more pounds
It’s open not classic. Size & balance oversees shape.
@@dammmnndaniel3715And Chris wasn’t more balanced ? I get the size aspect but what part of Fiztwaters structure was more balanced and polished than Chris? I honestly want to get your perspective on it not even trying to argue but I genuinely want to know what others saw because in my eyes I thought Chris was the winner even as an open bodybuilding fan. I guess I just need a different perspective on what balance means to others in terms of bodybuilding
Martin’s Quads were crazy
Bigger arms, legs chest, shoulders, no way Chris was winning,
Somebody said it. Thank you. They would have to change criteria.
Much weider wings (specially front lat spead), much bigger traps, much smaller mid-section, best conditioning on Pro stage ever, ..... thats why CBum would have won
Open Bodybuilding just says that there is no weight limit. It's not saying that bigger is alwasy better. Chris structure is far more beautiful... every one wants to look like Chris, no wants to be short with a big gut 😂
To see a vacuum in open. Gives me hope
The Top 4 of the O all had bodybuilders who could do vaccum's and Andrew Jacked has an amazing midsection
Cbum is just a great bodybuilding, amazing genética and amazing spirit on stage, great to see this show!
Martin's physique is literally exquisite
I wish more bodybuilding shows did an overall champion, so we can see all the class winners against each other. seeing 212 vs classic vs open was v interesting
Some people just got a reality check on judging standards for different classes online. There is a reason open and classic are split. If you want to look at something beautiful, go look at classic. If you want to see huge full muscle with round muscles bellies and spot on symmetry, go look at open!
I don't know if the open guys are more symmetric.
