I believe now that TSLA stock is in the bearish, is the time to buy however I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
Thanks Kurt for the Tip.
I learnt the hard way it wasn’t a one way smooth trip but rather met with inconsistent market, a roller coaster and what looks to be gamble but rather complicated one. I’m passionate about more profitable methods getting in on the market.
You wouldn’t be the first to think it a gamble or casino game, hell some persons liken Wall Street to Las Vegas, if there’s anything I know for a fact its certain if you wanting positive growth is you having to become a life long learner, understanding the need for experience and skill on a market so broad and complicated.
A major problem newbies and also inteindgi investors face is thinking it’s a place one can go in solely. It’s just as one wouldn’t take an exam without a tutor, It been three months getting with a CFA, in this period I’ve already passed half a million in proceeds.
I’d appreciate a little more info about your adviser ma’am.
You’d want to do a little due diligence on Lina Dineikiene, truly exceptional.
It can be either positive or negative, Get a good system that works and stick with it.
I want a balanced portfolio with growth investments, safe investments, and also focus on dividends to gain up to $20K monthly, my concern is picking the right stocks that can survive a recession. How do i go about this George?
In this current unstable markets, It is advisable to diversify while retaining 70-80% in secure investments. looking at the worth of your portfolio, you should consider financial advisory.
Facing a similar situation, I sought advice from an invęstment advisęr. Through portfolio restructuring and diversification with good ETFs, S&P 500 and growth stocks, I've turned my portfolio around from $200k to over $800k in a few years.
Your invt-adviser must be really good, I hope it's okay to inquire if you're still collaborating with the same invt-adviser and how I can get in touch with them?
Aileen Gertrude Tippy' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Taking early notes from Warren as to the importance of sound asset diversification and risk management It can’t be overstated. I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $300K for sometime now, I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions.
Each strategy carries its own set of pros and cons and picking the right one depends on your specific financial goals, but in order to execute such effective decisions, it must be through a skilled practitioner.
I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?
Very much appreciated. Searched her full name on my browser and found her site top, no bs.. so many years of consistency like that is certainly striking!
In the end it always comes down to buying good businesses at favorable prices.
Exactly. So you should have bought it monday. Or maybe 10 years ago. But not today. It'll drop back down to fair value again eventually.
Correct - GC
I have so many friends that when anything negative is said about tesla they immediately say well its not a car company!, ha ha ha ha ha ha. They've lost a lot of money, lol
Time to average up or wait for 125?
I bought some at 150.
Best of luck - GC
Do Intel please, have the fundamentals changed?
The reason to hold the stock is for their foundry business and growth in that area. If you don't believe in it then don't hold it, it's going to be a long road.
Sure thing - GC
This is a perfect example that you can not 'calculate' the market particularry not Tesla. Big big miss on your O.U.T on the stock
Historically years ending in 5 are fantastic for stocks. 2025 will be huge for Tesla ..,$40 billion revenue from two Megapack factories..cyber truck deliveries and production kick in…affordable model 2 in production ..Full self driving becomes must have, new factories in Mexico and India break ground. 2024 May be last chance to buy Tesla under $200. Whenever it’s PE drops under 35 it has been a good time to buy.
Nice one....thanks for sharing - GC
Only have one question, do you think tesla is a software company or car company? Delusions of grandeur....
@@EcchiAllDay it’s an energy company with growing software business…decentralized utility business will be big …Autobidder
IMO, who the heck knows, the fact is. They’re a car company and are currently struggling. I do believe the stock will rocket to mars 1 day. Because of FSD and Optimus bot. But neither are ready and won’t be for many years. So basically you’re buying a car company in 1 hand and the other is a speculative growth company.
Haha! A car company. By the time you wait to get your numbers for the software, it will have already grown exponentially. You will miss the crazy gains.
I don’t understand why people say they are a car company. It’s obvious most of their revenue currently comes from selling cars but this will clearly not be the case for long, everyone can see it
In that case, it is a long term play....make sure you buy it at the right price - GC
Punctuation. much. ?
Certainly, while the numbers on FSD for past revenues are likely low because it was incomplete and still under development (still is, but so much better now and will improve with time again), as well as expensive (was over 10k$ to purchase outright or 200$/month as a service), but now they are offering first month free and new price 99$/month, reduced prices all because of current and more than that the oncoming state of the economy/rates thanks to poor leadership and analytics by the FED...my arguments about the latter, inflation is and has been overall under 3% for 75% of the last year, yet they continue to say they need more data. Well, the average rate of inflation over the last 50 years in NorthAmerica has been 3.8%, the 2% guideline was established in the 80s following/mimicking Europeans' system back then and is outdated, trying to reach 2% is nearly impossible unless you cause a massive recession and that's not supposed to be the goal, the goal is to maintain a strong economy, not cause massive unemployment but rather stimulate growth, keeping the housing-construction-realestate sectors running smoothly. Interest rates have been so low during the last two decades that the increases we have had have shocked every individual and company who have debt by increasing payments by nearly two fold. You can't have interest rates being at 200% inflation rate for so long, the gap between the two is too wide. If they don't believe the data they are seeing, and are so afraid of making a mistake, again, which they are exactly doing by delaying tiny cuts albeit and spread over a couple of years, they should remember that Volcker cut rates when iflation was at 4%! What the heck are those people doing? I'm not saying they are braindead, but my word seems like they are in a zombie state of mind and always rather not do anything, sit back and relax and watch everything get smothered, geeze!
Their AI will quickly outpace and outperform itself and others very soon. The new more affordable vehicle will expand sales by first Q 2025, that's a standard 6 months+/- away as markets are forward looking. The bot will be starting sales by end of 2025 or earlier. FSD and the bot integrated AI will be amazing, specially if that bot is connected to internet and can serve as an interface. Hello walking Alexa.
At current price, even though it may seem still like a hype stock, to me it seems fairly valuated as future value is considerable. As one among many other positions, I will hold it and add if it dips a lot. It is bound to rise again and I don't see other car companies outperforming them.
Thanks for sharing - GC
Been watching your channel for years now. You converted me from having large amount of money in the stock to selling it all and holding my 3x return.
Anyone holding TSLA needs to believe Tesla will solve autonomous driving at scale and have a moat. I think many TSLA supporters would engage in the conversation better if you engaged with that possibility and analysed what that might look like.
Thanks for saving me hundreds of thousands of dollars. As Mohnish Prabai said, you are doing God’s work.
How is your evaluation agnostic? Tesla says if you do not believe in FSD dont invest in Tesla. This is the only question to consider. The numbers says nothing about future business products. Have you driven fsd v12.3?
You don't have to try or use every single product before deciding to investing or not... That would be the wrong way to evealuate a stock - GC
@@EverythingMoney every single product? I repeat. If you do not believe in this one product you shouldn't invest in Tesla. That came from directly from Tesla. At this point its the alpha and omega. If you care evaluating the company neglecting this you shouldn't even bother taking the effort...

With $4,000 discounts and $7,500 tax credits, still struggling to sell Model Y. The Model 3s weren't available and the ones available didn't qualify for the tax credits with non-qualifying batteries.
Hopefully they fix this for their share owners .AP
Tesla is not just a car company.
It’s five different companies.
It’s AI, it’s a rocket, a boring company, telecommunications technology.
I know it just seems like they are cars; it’s more than cars.
It’s really an AI company. AI for cars… come on now. Let’s not be so over rationed by just cars. When he figures out self driving vehicles, dude that would be crazy.
150 is a discount on a hot stock!
Anything that goes up has to come down, honestly it’s perfect with large volatility, that’s making money.
Yes they do a lot of things and one day they might be one of the best companies in the world . But you have to be careful with your valuations you just can't overpay .AP
Bought the duck at 140 and I’m up 15% today
Congrats that's great! AP
paul can you do a fundamental analysis on $ci
Thanks , we will give it a look , why do you like it ? AP
Good video
I love how you mentioned separating the emotional aspect from the company..I think you should do a couple blind video analysis to show the viewers.
Good stuff - GC
As I said before, computer on wheels (TSLA) is “higher tech” than computer on your laps (MSFT) and computer on your palms (AAPL). TSLA will stand tall in EV, AI, robotics/robotaxi, energy storage and more. TLSA WILL BE BIGGER THAN MSFT OR AAPL WITHIN 5 TO 7 YEARS!!
I’m already up 30%. So many fools shorted the hole 😂
For now. But investing is not a sprint, it's a life long marathon. So, wait for another 5 years.
Congrats ! When will you sell ? AP
Your tool is based on fundamental. So, are you saying your tool only works 10% of the time?
Tesla is up 12% pre market this morning!!!
Paul is a Leftist idiot; that is why Mo is the man and never in the studio anymorel; Paul tries to trap him into talks about Disney, Bud and Target and Mo knows where he is headed everytime. Leftists are only talking heads....they will never own and operate a business that produces anything of substance other than talking and typing
Crazy market .AP
First time watching. Some miss the point of Tesla because they are tied to old-school thinking. What's the value of 1.25 billion miles of driver behavior feeding an AI supercomputer? No hate. Talk in 1 year.
Cool...we will see - GC
Thats a lot of info...how much longer will it take?
Paul is right in his approach to pretty much every company. By the time he acknowledges energy, FSD and bot, it will be too late to buy tsla. This one is different
Hahaha I love watching your videos 😅
"Value" investors are going to miss out on another massive run in Tesla stock because they don't understand the company. Paul is a perfect example.
What about nio don’t you think there technology should be valued more I think so
Nio is less advanced than Tesla , their numbers are sketchy , you don't know if you can trust them .AP
So no mention of sky high interest rates impacting the auto industry in general???😮
Yes that's also impacting some of the sales , but remember not everyone wants electric cars .AP
Very true and helpful investing advice.
Glad you think so! - GC
@@EverythingMoney You're very disciplined and a very good investor , as you only buy at the right price , and only buy fantastic companies.. ☝🏼
Tesla is a phenomenal company btw, and the price is starting to get more attractive nothing compared to Nio though!

Paul you need to raise your assumptions for the software potential.

Their margins will improve the decline in margins can be largely attributed to the macro environment price cuts are necessary in this economy. People are not exactly swimming in cash nowadays

What's the difference between iPhone & a Tesla vehicle. How critical is the software in an iPhone (very)? The AI software will (if not already) be very important for Tesla sales. System software updates are delivered an reviewed the same as an iPhone. So Tesla is more than a car company. But then it's all how you look at it. You can ignore the importance of the software side of new EV's all you want, but will be a defining component with EV's as the iPhone OS is to the mobile phone market
lol MeetKevin callout!
anyways it would be nice if you actually did a deep dive. Other than look at the numbers and say "makes you question". Several of these have answers.
Thanks for the note - GC
You should do as video with Ross and Gordon . Add meet Kevin
Tesla is a tech company, not a car company, it has scaled cars first and was able to charge a premium price but that will reduce over time, it now needs to scale renewables, it's charging infrastructure and other tech products, Optimus will become focus over next 3 years and they will sell 1m of these within the first 2 years. Charging revenue will double each year for next decade as a minimum as rollout and expansion of electric car ownership takes hold.
all true. But the stock price rise.

Tesla split shares a few times already so what is the real price?
The real price is in the market cap and not in the stock price which is changed by the split. The valuation stay the same no matter of stock split- GC
Ouch... Glad I bailed when I did without a loss, albeit with minimal gain. Nevertheless, TSLA is one of the very few stocks I want badly to succeed.

This sounds like those ppl who claims Amazon was just a ecommerce company back in the day until it was too late to invest
Exactly
It was back in the day...unitl it evolved.
Same will happen with TSLA, but not there as yet - GC
Buying in 2019 was a HUGE gamble, buying today is fairly low risk. I only wish it dropped to 100$ again...They're sitting on 26 billions (how many companies can say that?), and about the only ones making EVs profitably and what we've seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg, in a decade chances are Tesla will no longer be categorized as a "car company".
isn't like playing poker, you don't care on what the outcome is because you know you will definitely lose 100% in one of your bets as long as you make 100 good bets with positive expected value
and a lot of people can't accept 20% return in a year, they want more, and some says one bad bet will erase all the gains, well how about putting your money in 100 assets which has 95% chance to yield at least 20% return, nevermind that 5% goes to zero
Very well said .AP
What's the right price for you ?
It went up $20 over night, last night.
Who thinks it will drop to $130 ?
Who thinks it will drop to $120 ?
Who thinks it will drop to $110 ?
Who thinks Tesla will drop down to below $100 ?
Not sure but we can react when that happens .AP
Great video Paul! Problem is that when the company accelerates earnings due to FSD software, the company then will trade at 65X earnings. Unless there is a recession stock won't go below about $75. With a recession it goes to $40 or less. Today's price still has a lot of success from FSD, energy, and other ideas baked into it. But who knows when FSD really gets solved? As a shareholder I hate that I am being diluted by 17% over 5 years!!!
Much appreciated , its hard to evaluate a company like this trying to be Neutral , on one side you have all that they will do in the future witch look great on paper , and on the other side Seems overpriced , share dilution , and then when you sit down and try to valuate you go to the opposite side .AP
Loaded more at $139. Did you ?
Pretty sure Tesla isnt a highschool student. Tesla is a college freshman who is the the best player in the league. They are about to jump ship on college and enter the draft. They are a player who has all the entangables and skills to be one of the best, if not the best, in the professional league.
The downside of value investing is the lack of foresight and unwillingness to invest in a future revolution. The same aspect applies to his stance on NVIDIA.
You could be correct , but not everyone invest on what could be .AP
Why does he keep insisting that its a car company? What is wrong with it selling more cars that its software? Tech stocks are valued higher than most, is that what his problem with it?
Stock bounces double-digits after a poor quarterly report. Sounds legit........

If your point is that today the majority of the revenue is from car sales, it would be valid if other revenue segments were 0. Most common mistake is confusing investing with accounting. Show me a quarter of another car company that was BAD and made 1,5B. Show me a car company with more that 8% margins.
It is not just a car company but we can agree it is not clear, a bit foggy for non engineers, does not show in the balance sheet yet as clear as some may want to from Wall Street
It reminds me the debate of windows vs DoS. And then suddenly with one version, the debate in 1998 was over
Tesla will be done in a few years…if you purchased a Tesla 10 years ago, it is scrap metal now, (the battery is gone) Tesla has NO resale value
I have to spend one hundred thousand dollars to get 400 miles out of a Tesla car.
If you believe Tesla will only remain a car company, you might be overlooking Elon Musk's ambition. The robotaxi and humanoid robot businesses are not just about cars; they're also about technology. These ventures represent a shift towards a broader tech-focused future. It's essential to see the bigger picture. This perspective is why I prefer growth investing, which has yielded me 28% annual returns over the past 14 years, compared to the 12% returns of value investing.
We don't think tesla will remain a car company , we know they are making money from other business , just not enough to overcome cars , and this other business will make this company great , but that's in the future and its unknown .AP

Fundamentals, sometimes referred to as ‘funnymentals,” are not everything. Investing requires good instinct, reading the winds of change, brand, technical analysis, cycles, keeping emotion in check and so much more. Fundamentals are a good place to start to see the current health of a company, but there is so much more to consider. The old adage buy low sell high is king. I own TSLA, but at $65 cost basis and not even flinching on this investment.
