This is an unforgettable home. It successfully managed to make the design supremely beautiful and functional, versatile and customized, serene yet warm, but in addition to all that, artistic but not delicate. The entryway-door takes my breath away. This introduces the quiet majesty of what has been created in this home. Thank you for this inspiring episode.
Absolutely stunning. Show this house to anyone who says "you don't need an architect", this house is what you get when you let an architect "GO FOR IT!"
Love the concrete elements. She did this in an incredible way that feels very airy and almost cathedral-like. Cool contrast between the outdoor and modern interior. Love this! Also great use of black and light color palettes inside.
The dog art is terrifying--like a ghostly human torso floating about in a sheet. Did you see how it moved from 2:37 to 4:31? (Magnificent home, though--and great gin, too!)
Stunning! I'm impressed that they were able to use so many materials in a way that never feels overwhelming. Each space has a fresh personality but definitely feels like part of a whole. Also, the art and furniture is all perfect for the space
House design, specially the entrance looks very modern Japanese homes. Removing shoes is a very hygienic habit for the entire family, specially great for children's safety. Very clean, minimalist zen design. Loved it 💕 👍😊
I love the open front to the street, without a fence. this is something I'm very nuanced to as it's common in cities like Canberra but not so much in the other major cities in Australia, so this is very nice! the planning and details of this design and materials was very nicely thought out and very practical yet aesthetically pleasing
Lovely and tastefully done with just an ample mixture of concrete, well-chosen fixtures, furnishings, and wood The touches and influence of MCM and Danish aesthetics definitely brought and added a cozy and warm milieu that some current modern houses lack. Congratulations. .
Love the originality and innovation of the designs!! Surprised you are actively promoting the narrative of publication and print in the age we are living.
this is surely one of the best houses i’ve seen EVER. i love how there’s so many sentimental things about this house, which makes this mean a lot more. don’t even get me started about the palette, i’m absolutely in love with the colors and how it complements each other really well.
Desain nya sempurna & enak dilihat dari sisi manapun, perpaduan warna material yang enak dilihat, minimalist, wow banyak hal yang dapat dipelajari dari konsep ini, kerenn
Sublime and spectacular, what a space! However, not sure I'd want to linger after dinner on those scant metal dining chairs. Perhaps they're somehow comfortable! 😃
Beautiful home. Nice juxtaposition between warm, comfy interior spaces vs. wide open minimalist expanses that open up to nature. My only critique is the outdoor sculpture quotes too heavily from Joel Shapiro.
@@PSGaming-jk3iz I'm not sure about the conversion rate of AUS, but in euros, a million would be waaay too little. I would have guessed 3 million or more but this depends so much on materials, etc.
This house is at 35 Seymour Road Elsternwick which hasn't been updated on Google Maps and you can see the modest house that sat on the block before this was built which really added character to the neighbourhood. It is a shame that the neighbourhood is changing so much. BUT this house is very beautiful inside, and overall is a plus project to the area.
At time stamp 1:33 there is a shot of a metal and cable grid trellis for vine plants. Does anyone know if this is an off the shelf product, or if there are suppliers who can custom make these?
Very nice although l would opt to erect a proper wall in the front of the property so as to have a barrier between your front door and the edge of your property. You never know there may be some crazy covid masked Government Officer wandering around who wants to lock you up in one of your Covid Concentration Camps down under. Although your garden is pretty and wild and natural and water sustainable for your area, personally l would go for a more manicured neater garden planting productive fruit trees which not only look pretty but also provide fruit. Form AND function. Nevertheless well done. 😊👊👌👍
Looks awesome as a library, art gallery, or hotel. Doesn't feel like a cozy home to me. All materials are so unforgiving when it comes to dirt. You'll be busy cleaning all day long!
@@Stellar-Cowboy Well, he's right. You taking the time to comment not once but twice shows that you clearly care. So that either means you're lying or you have less braincells than the other guy
You guys literally suck in showing the entire house. You post amazing houses in the channel and when I open it I never get to see the whole house. It's always like trailer of the movie and babbling of the architects. Instead try to show the entire house.

i wish the floor plans were shown at the end, it makes it easier to understand and follow which part of the house they’re showing.
Security purposes for the client.. and also intellectual property for the architect, there might be people who will copy this project.

This is not only a house, but a dream home 💕
Fantastic architecture….GREAT interior design
Love these Australian homes
Cool place! Love how midcentury influences are there without it being a strictly mid-century place. Am I alone finding dog art kinda creepy a bit?
Dog art was a little too much.

Love how the architect has taken local references to make something contemporary, yet contextual. Really well executed.
A beautifully compact, deceptively spacious home.

Love the Troy Emory dog. Very modern take on sentimentality.
Lovely design. I like that little riding car! 😊
was really fun to watch thanks
Absolutely Beautiful!
Gogeous home.
Love the Terrazzo floors in the bathroom. Had my bathrooms done in Terrazzo from Quantum Quartz in Padstow NSW.
This is an amazing house and I especially love the dog statue ❤ Kinda makes me want to make one for my dog too

So so good! Simply incredible home.
It has that Soylent Green apartment vibe.

Beautiful.
The finishing is ultimate that the house looks like a 3D model
I would love to have something like this. It is perfect.
Fantastic architecture
Nice home!
Congratulations! Very nice job
Great work/art
If we had a longer glimpse of the house tour it would be great
Nice content tho 👌
Love this!
that dog statue giving me full metal alchemist vibes ... ed ... ward

This is so my style
I like her James Bond baddie outfit.
Great jumpsuit
nice
Normally love these videos but this one seemed more about 'look at all of my expensive furniture' more than the actual design of the home..
Такого еще не видела
lmao they made "playroom" cells for their kids to lock them in
great vid. great quality. What camera system are you using?
I wonder all the time how much a house like this would cost...
Over a million
@@PSGaming-jk3iz I'm not sure about the conversion rate of AUS, but in euros, a million would be waaay too little. I would have guessed 3 million or more but this depends so much on materials, etc.
Likely around $3-$4 million

Why don't these vids show anything about machine rooms or placements? Maintanance provisions are part of good architecture.
furnished exquisitely. Why do all Australians speak with every sentence in upspeak?
LOL...also the Canadian House & Home channel designers as well. I sometimes turn off the sound and just look at the home.
It's a bit annoying.
It seems that everyone these days talks with an upspeak no matter where they come from: Americans, Australians, the English...
Yup. People in some parts of Canada speak like that. Very irritating, like they just fell off the turnip truck.
@@sm3675 trust me, only people in England that speak with upspeak are posh folk from the Chelsea area of London.

An ensuite for each bedroom?? Really expensive, lot of cleaning, really necessary??

a bit ob art gallery not a house to live in, I can't imagine bunch of children having fun there

Nobody cares

May I know the dimensions of this house

Do all Australians raise the pitch of their voice at the end of every sentence ?
Not Elm trees- London Plane trees. Sorry to be a tree pedant 😣
No front fence. Very Canberran.
Complete lack of cozyness. a perfect home for a movie villain
