Bro, I appreciate the knowledge you dropped on this shoe. As a person who really likes Nike sneakers, I appreciate understanding the tech behind it. And the fly knit is the most comfortable AF1 I’ve ever worn.
I agree about the AF1 Ultra's being by far the best Air Force 1's!
I still own a pair of the low with the leather instead of Flyknit :).
Also, definitely wearing my number 8 Kobe jersey today.

low are fine problem is that hard sole that don't had much give.... make you can not do long walk.....

The label on the side says "DimSix" wich is short for Deminsion 6...Before the company was called Nike they were going to name it that 😉

I also heard that now there is a design team within Nike called D/MS/X so I think they put that name on shoes that they worked on 🤷🏼♂️ hope that’s right
9:35 The D/MS/X might be I's instead of forward slashes. Nike was almost going to be called Dimension Six as Phil Knight was about to file a patent. The first employee, Jeff Johnson, came up with Nike from a dream that he had. Also, there is a 2019 shoe model that's called the D/MS/X, but if you google, "Dim Six Nike," it'll pop up. There was also that Nike Cortez pack that featured a Dimension Six and a Red Sun type of logo in 2019.
I thought Bill Bowerman came up with Nike, because she was the Goddess of Victory and he was very philosophical as the Oregon track coach?

DIMSIX is a play on one of the original options for re-naming blue ribbon sports. (Dimension six) which was Phil knight’s favorite option. Nike is now using it as kind of an ACG, or NikeLab sub-brand to bring new models and new takes on classics.
This review kinda make me laugh n forget about the tragedy happened for awhile. Thx for the laughter. =)
Those AF1s are really pleasing to the eye, love the design changes and the tech updates seem really good too
People on Stock X skyrocketed the price of Kobe shoes. Was trying to get Kobe AD NXT FF or the Grinch Mamba Rages but dang they expensive now. RIP Kobe. I hope they keep making his shoes so that people everywhere are able to have a part of him on the court still.

I just got them a couple weeks ago...man they are my favorite AF1.... I'm super flat footed, absolutely no arch, and they are sooo comfortable! I'm going to get a couple more just because of the comfort they provide.

The John Elliot af1s have a lunarlon w/ a zoom unit under the heel.
The Lunar Forces was great too. All lunarlon sole was the bomb. But agreed that the flyknit ultra is nr 1 on the comfy list. I put the Lunar forces in at 2 place and the React at 3. Its a outsole rubber made to a insole? Feels good but not soo squishy and light as I wanted then to be.
I read a long time ago that Sheed’s AF1s had Zoom Air insoles, which explains how he was able to play in them without wrecking his knees.
There were the Air Force 1, CMFT and they had a drop in lunar insert. I had the all red pair with clear bottoms, the drop in was visible from the midsole. CMFT lux was the model
i dont know why, but the oversized nike swoosh looks kind of cartoonish and i really like it. i dont know if i can get them, but i really want to!!
They knock it out the park with this one. React makes huge difference. Only thing to consider if you are wide footed like I am instead of going up half size just stick with your true size. The toe box is huge.

Yes Sir...I agree.....the "FLYKNIT" versions were most comfortable.....i wish they had more styles of that version....

My John Elliot AF1 have a THICC Lunarlon drop-in midsole with Zoom pods. I believe that there have been a handful of other "premium" AF1 models with a similar construction.

I'm surprised to gear you're not an AFs guy. I could definitely see you wearing them on days where you chose to wear jeans, I think they would suit you very well.

D/MS/X is a reference to the grip letter of the cars tires!
D/MS/X stands for Dimension six and was the other option the company had when changing their name (other one was Nike). There’s also this model called the Signal D/MS/X, of which I have a pair, on the box was a tiny text saying that the design of the shoe referred to the future of Nike. They are also extremely comfortable

Fly knit air forces where dope. I bought two pairs but made the mistake of not buying my a half size bigger and stood true to size. They felt tight by the end of days use so ended up gifting them to my brother.
I think Nike ‘D/MS/X’ or ‘DimSix’ shoes are about challenging design norms? I think that’s what the series is about

i want to get some but 150 is kinda steep for air force 1s since u can get the react ones for $100 - $120
the ultra force were the most comfortable but they fit a whole size off. i'm talking about the non flynet version which looked like a regular air force.

Chris if you can do a video montage of all of Kobes kicks and your favorite memories of him that would be such a cool video to see you do. We are all devastated and hurt, and though I could never afford his kicks growing up. They did have the NikeLab version with nice leather upper and drop in midsole with full length zoom, but the shoe was still pretty stiff, and AF1 Flyknit Ultra is still by far the most underrated version.
I think before these the most or the most comfortable air force one is the John Elliot colab it does high inside sole.

The John Elliot AF1 is the most ridiculously comfortable AF1 they've ever made. They put all new tech inside it. It's double thick Lunar with heel air.
If you want to wear a comfortable Air Force go buy the John Elliots AF1 you may have to size up but they are worth it.
Remember I had the canvas air Force 1's / uptown's in blue i had the green ones and the black ones they were pretty comfortable back in da day before these sneakerheads came into play you just one out and bought a few pairs to be fresh match your shirt with you kicks and hat that's how we did in New York City
The most comfortable pair I still own is the Nike Lunar Force 1 LTR University Red/Challenge Red-Black from 2013
These are fire but if they made them high too mids like the regular AF1s everyone usually gets in the hood these would be even better

Dmsx is nikes more creative sneaker line where the designers change things up with the colors or technologys in older shoes.

The most comfortable Air Force 1 that I've worn so far is the Air Force 1 Duckboots 2018. The Lunarlon is great on them.
The Chuck 2s had deep in lunar! So comfortable!

Air Force 1 cmft lux low ostrich had cup sole with lunarlon and zoom pod in heel. Very comfortable have both red and black.
Straight to the point: DIMSIX means Dimension Six, according to the Nike book A Shoe Dog from Phil Knight, it was the fist name of the shoe name suggested by Phil Knighy himself, he said we could call it as Dimension Six......

The air force 1 gets comfortable when you play basketball in it. It takes a hella long time to break in, but once you do. they’re pretty comfortable. Note: I played outside on concrete

There has been a AF1 in white with such an insole and Zoom before, I forgot their name.
Rasheed's AF1 had a different cushioning than retails so it's not as hard or stiff. I think there were extra air units in it.
The most comfortable Air Force ones are the John Elliot AF1s. Amazing quality I highly suggest it to anyone.
Friendly suggestion...paint your peg boards black so that the shoes appear to be floating behind you 😉👍🏻

There was a pair of nikes I bought from Nordstrom Rack a while back that had drop-in lunarlon insoles and an eva "cupsole". The also had an all mesh upper. I can't remember their name but they were some sort of budget/casual shoe.
It's been a looooong time since I grabbed a AF1, Uptown, Oneie but I might grab a pair just for the MIDSOLE 🤣✌ Great review as always
Hoping Nike is going to release an AF1 React Flyknit. I like my AF1 Flyknit 2.0 for the lightweight.
