Back in days who went most of the road in corners and survived to finnish used to win rally. I remember '93 I was watching in one left hand 90° corner. Kankkunen came and after him there was only one tyre mark on the road. He cut 3 wheels over inside ditch 😂

I'm not sure, But I remember Nicky Grist having another moment with Kankkunen. Nicky was not on the whole Recce. And once they did the actual rally. Kankkunen did a HUGE cut through some bushes. Something that Nicky was not aware of. And Juha just laughed. ( something like that)

4:57 Approaching this point I might have gone straight ahead here, if I'd been reading the tree-line and not listening to my co-driver. Did it probably half a dozen times (in blind rallies) over the years, luckily only once being unable to continue 😔
