- In a related development the Labour Party has called on the Federal Government and Organised Labour to arrive at an acceptable position for the sake of Nigerians.
The Party also notes that in just few hours into the strike, Nigeria has been thrown into darkness, hospitals shut, and water pipes drained, thereby throwing Nigerians into yet another challenge.
In order to address the issues, both the government and the Labour have to shift ground to have a meeting point.

Please let the federal govt and labour come to a point of agreement. Is it because they are uptown people, they and their children do not know what suffering is like. Let them come out and taste it a little and know what it is like then they will be able to grant the request of Labour or near to what labour is asking of.
