Just found this video, it's great! I absolutely love the sound of Andys Peugeot! ! This what a real rally car should sound! !! I remember hearing this car first before it was anywhere near me!! I have some stunning photos of this car in action at the Wyedean rally! Such a shame that it had to stop rallying. Great video, just that engine sound! ! Cracking! Cheers to all involved. 👍
I'd be interested to know if there was anything else remotely like it during this era? I cant recall ever seeing anything as exciting to watch back then.

The MSA banned this car and many others because they were spaceframes. Now that the current Rally1 WRC cars are spaceframes, and that's fine with the FIA, maybe we might see/hear some old favourites out on the stages again. I saw the Pug many times, up close whilst marshalling scruitineering, on the stages and down at the Goodwood FOS. I miss it a lot. Both signt & sound.
