You should follow up on this. Did your tomatoes grow? Did you get pulled over? Did they believe it was tomatoes?

Awesome ideas, bumpy roads needs to be addressed as american roadways are in need of or being repaved at the moment.

I'm considering something somewhat similar, probably including aquaponics.

alfalfa sprouts take 4 days to grow so if u start them in your van you can put them in the sun when you camp. Same with other microgreens.

I think moringa would be a good plant to grow, if it's kept trimmed. It's very nutritious.

I wondered when someone would come up with Garden in the move! this! We have been in Tsaile, AZ most of this summer. We have moved a lot of seedlings from Snowflake to Tsaile. Heat would be an issue gardening in a vehicle in the summer.

I wondered about growing on top of a vehicle. You would need a wind deflector, and (depending on the height of the vehicle) a ladder, I wondered if you could adapt a Thule as a traveling grow space.

Now you've got us thinking... maybe with a clear dome cover on the rooftop cargo box, like a rooftop greenhouse of sorts!

Thank you for the video but dangerous to drive with your plants in front of the passenger window. I got an idea for you to put them by the side or back windows.

I have the same van and I really like the way you used the natural light on the dashboard instead of using a grow light in the back someplace. Where did you buy the fabric grow bags? Was there a problem with water overflowing and collecting on the dashboard?

Hi there! they were actually some prototypes we had made that never made their way to production. We are however looking to add something similar (but a lot bigger) to our catalogue soon!

That'd be our Window Shelf + Microgreens Kit. You can find both on our website, although the shelf is out of stock until end March. We have plenty of the microgreens though!
