Honestly personally, this is my favorite GL so far ang the acting of the leads Faye (pronounced as Fai) and Yoko is just top tier. Fun fact: Faye sang the OST for BLANK the series. The series follows the novel's timeline, so Sam and Mon are not married and the grandmother doesn't accept it so openly, remember that the ending of the novel gap is different from the gap series, the timeline of the novels are Gap, Blank and Gap eternity
