Still loving my Edelbrock air cleaner over a year later and it looks great!
Wow I love your Chevy Cheyenne videos
Looks like the stock air intake was a fresh air system. If so, I'm guessing you just raised the temperature of the air entering the engine at least 40 degrees F.
Nice!
By anychace do u have that rubber intake hose ,i will buy it off if u can ship it out
Seeing how it goes together, would you be able to use a reusable K&n filter with the edlebrock bottom and lid correct ?
I think if the K&N filter is the same dimensions, then it should work for sure. That's a great idea!
Is it still touching the coolant hose ?
Where did you purchase the Spectre stud?
What spacer did you use under the throttle body and did it help any
I used the *Jet Performance throttle body spacer* . You should read the *GMT400 Upgrades and Performance Parts Buyers Guide* on my website. It's seriously the *best resource out there* . Everything the truck has on it and more is listed on that page www.buildpriceoption.com/gmt400-upgrades/
You can Flip the bottom of the air cleaner thats what i did on my truck so it wont touch
Thank you, I will do that today
did u feel any power on take off ?
@@KatyTexasRailfan I'll have to let you know. No soon as I got the truck done, my girl was in it going to the store and talking about how she likes it more than the Beetle lol
@@BuildYourOwn lol
I had to do that to mine. I still dnt feel it to b solid
What spacer did you use building a 93 myself
I used that Spectre Air Cleaner Stud and I adjusted it to make everything fit just right. I start talking about around 3:31
off this subject... have you had any issues with slow starting after the engine gets hot? and if so what have you done about it? Thanks in advance.
I haven't had those issues
Have you gone on the GMT400 forum? It might be a good resource for you.
@@BuildYourOwn no I havent. But thats a great idea. Thanks for the reply and idea. Been getting a lot from your vids. Thanks again.
How you pass for smog check.
The air cleaner was a non issue for me
did you ever feel a difference
I thought the truck was a little peppier. What I felt even more was my Chevy 4.3 Firepower Ignition Kit from Performance Distributor ua-cam.com/video/ktz03L-9O0Q/v-deo.html
