When Jenny said she’s going to turn that hose on herself, I could relate as a southern gardener with a hard laugh!🤣 Going to Etsy in search of that beautiful hanging planter!
I often use the mist setting on my sprayer to cool down. Summer's a comin'!
Good morning Jenny and team, I always set my conical planters in a five gallon bucket to get them planted and then hang … love those superbells!
❤😂 “you’re gonna see Jenny ‘glisten’ in the sun today”. Oh Jenny I love you and you make me feel more at home in my own house here in Utah when I miss living in the south. Thank you 🙏
The baskets are beautiful! Good thing you have that manly man to help hang the basket! 😀
Brynna is such a great helper! 😀 🐕
I love you Jenny❤and Jerry is hilarious 😂 when he obviously just wants to get it over with and chucks the dirt in the planter..😂 We are all Jerry.😊
Good morning, Jenny! Your hanging containers(containers, and contents) are gorgeous! And thank you, Jerry, for helping out this lovely lady❣️
I say this every time but you are the best teacher. I have heard suggestions on sitting your hanging basket in some water, but duh, add in your weekly fertilizer in there and boom....Love you Jenny!!
Oh wow! When you stood up next to that cone shaped basket you could see just how big it is! Before you got up there I kept thinking, that big basket of flowers are not going to fit in there. 😂 They are gorgeous! All 3 containers look great! I love that whole area up there. It's like a beautiful surprise tucked back up there. You have it decorated so nice with all the planters and the table and chairs are sweet. It's inviting! Do you think you will eventually add driplines to that area? I know you are a busy lady!!!
Hi Jenny. Heat in the South is no joke. The humidity alone will kill ya. Yet on video you still Looked amazing & couldn’t tell you breaking a sweat. Another great content. Thank you!❤
Good morning Jenny and all. Rainy day in Ohio.
That conical shaped basket is pretty!
Jenny, it looks so cute your shirt matches the colour of hanging baskets😊
I may or may not have planned it 😁
Jenny I bet a 5 gallon bucket would work perfect to soak that cone shaped basket
The 5 gallon bucket is also great for planting the cone shape basket.
Good morning Jenny. I put my conical baskets in a 5 gallon bucket when planting...removing the hanging chain until finished. Yours turned out lovely!
Those containers are beautiful. I can't wait to see them when they have filled out. Thank you so much for sharing..⚘️🪻🌷🌼🌸
Luv the team work and Jenny’s extra advice on all the plantings. Even Brynna did her part of carrying off the empty container. The brass looking container seems to just fit harmoniously in the woody area with the bright pop of color. Chicken area is looking good and can’t wait to see what annuals you plant this year. Thanks again for the video.
Gorgeous! Love that cone basket 🥰. Might be easier for some folks to sit it inside of a bucket when planting it up.
Good morning, Jenny 🌞 Your rabbit issue certainly inspired lots of comments yesterday!🐇 Hoping that you find a solution.
So beautiful those dreamcicles are😍
On the cone hanger you can sit it in a 5 gal. bucket and plant it. Everything is looking great!
Love that conical hanging basket! Could you use a tall bucket or planter without a hole to let that soak when you’re fertilizing?
Oh boy! I'm freezing out there today on the north shore of Lake Ontario (Canada)...it was actually sleeting, so had to come in to warm up by watching you!
HA! It’s been ridiculously hot in NC! Your Pots are beautiful and yes I use hanging baskets to fill mine. Super easy!
Jerry is your muscle! lol! Hubs is my muscle too!
Beautiful job❤️
Jenny your cone shaped pot would probably fit in a 5 gal bucket while you’re planting , also to sit in to bottom water them. ❤️ your videos!
Great video Jenny! Thank You for the tips!! No sweating here today, Southeast Wisconsin is 48 degrees and super windy! But, the sun is shining after cold rain yesterday. Beats snow though...lol.
Good morning Jenny☀️ I always like your choice of outfits and matching hats in your videos, you love color and it shows! Me, too! I’m sure it’s no coincidence that today your sweater matches the dreamsicle flowers! I’m looking so forward to shopping in early May for Proven Winners annuals for my garden 🌺
I love the conical hanging basket! It's perfect for the corner is a building. It really softens the corner. If I had a hanging basket like that, I would get one of those 5 gal. buckets, like the ones that contractors use, fill it with water/liquid fertilizer and let it sit for an hour. That would help cut down on the waste. Those buckets are taller and skinnier so it would support that conical basket better.
Glorious containers. Love the combinations of plants. Love that coppery basket. Will have to check that out. Thanks, Jenny and Jerry!
Would the cone shaped basket sit it a 5 gallon bucket? If it would, it might help when planting it as well as if it needed to be soaked.
I was going to suggest the same thing.
@@vickieharrell6853 Great minds …!🤭
Great idea!!!
@@GardeningwithCreekside ❤️
Those cone shaped baskets are tricky to water indeed! I have found using a 3 gallon bucket 🪣 is the perfect size and the sides balance the cone to keep it from tipping over.
Almost my thought! I thought 5 gallon...
Great planting. Thanks again for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Jenny,
I've found that, w/ round- or pointy-bottomed hanging planters, they're easier to plant if I support them in a planter or bucket, then reattach the hanger & hang.
Hope this helps. 😊
It’s so weird about your weather. I’m in east TN and it’s been cool and low humidity (unless it’s raining!😂) Seems like we’d be similar! I’m coming sometime👏👏👏
This project/video was so much fun! I love the conical basket & the Dreamsicle is one of my very favorites! That copper looking pot is amazing! I can't wait to see all of these new posts as they grow up & fill out more! That purple fountain grass is the perfect thriller for those annuals! Way to go Jenny & Jerry! Thanks for sharing all of your hard work with all of us! 💞
I love to top dress my containers with matching mulch from the garden. The pots look finished and it helps keep in the moisture.
I set my conical hanging basket in a five gallon bucket when I plant it. Works great for holding it upright!
Each one is beautiful
Beautiful, Jenny!
Oh Jenny, I love your cone shaped hanging basket and all your all your flower choices. I think red and purple looks so pretty together. Also your blouse looks so fresh and cool on you. I think that is surely one of your colors
Well all colors look great on you, cause you have that beautiful dark Shiney hair and such beautiful skin
You always look so very cute. Your dream cycle matches your blouse. Also your big hanging that you ordered is gorgeous Sorry I wrote a whole book. Lol😂😂❤
I use 5 gallon buckets: to hold cone containers when I am filling it and again when I want to do a deep fertilization. I also place plastic bag at the bottom to slow the draining.
Beautiful planters
Great video. I just love your content 😍
Wow good job ❤❤❤
Love your videos!!
Beautiful! 👌
As always thanks Jenny for the great potting ideas. So easy and so beautiful!
Gorgeous
Beautiful job ❤️🌸
Love all the planters Jenny! You did a great job as usual! ❤
Such a magical area.
Very pretty!
Hey Brynna 🐾🐾🥰 So glad you’re outta the brace
great video, and they are beautiful. thank you for sharing.
Great ideas 👏👏👏👏 they came out beautiful 😍
I really appreciate all the information you share Jenny. All the tips and tricks are so helpful. Thanks!
Awesome “transfer” of plants. Thoroughly enjoy Creekside UA-cam channel. I’m on the email list waiting for the creamy yellow coneflowers to arrive. I don’t know how you survive without gloves.
Watching you from Delaware.
Thanks Jenny 🪻🌷💚🙃
Hi Jenny 🌺The container and the hanging baskets are amazing with the pretty plants you have arranged in them . I lovet . Have a great day 🌺🌻🌺
Lovely containers. Gardening in S E FL, I know the feeling of turning the hose on oneself. LOL.
Thank you for this video. I'm thinking about putting my hanging baskets in the ground and know I think I can.
Hello, Jenny and Jerry. Super awesome fun video…thankful for the encouragement to get out in garden and be creative! Love ya❤!
Hi Jenny, Enjoyed viewing your latest projects this morning. Your metal container with a copper look is very nice along with the other large white container filled with petunias. They are both impressive. I can relate to high humidity and working outside but we can always take breaks! It's wet out there today but keeping busy indoors. Thanks for your video and reminder that Kinsman Company is a reputable supplier. Have a great day!
I just received my XL obelisk this week from Kinsman! Amazing quality and can not wait to see my climbing rose on this! 😍
I have done that a couple of times taken hanging baskets and put them in pot Jenny i remember watching a video that you showed how to do that i love every planted that you did!
When your pots with the coco-liners get too dry, you can also water the outside of the liner for some help, it will soak up the water.
I don’t know if you planned it or not but, you shirt which I adore by the way, matches you flowers perfectly .🌼
I did!
I bought the aquapot inserts late last summer and I loved it. This year will be the real test on how they perform. It is important to overhead water the top weekly to make sure the wicking effect is working properly.
Did you see the cone baskets Nicole at Flower Hill Farm planted in her nursery?? Ugh! I'm in love! I need some, too! I saw beautiful ones on Amazon. They have a moss type coconut core basket. I HAVE to have them!!! They look super antique like!
I bet using a 5 gallon home depot bucket would work for a deep watering of the conical shaped planters. It would give it enough support on the sides so it doesn't tip over.
Please, please give the link for the wrought iron hangers. I have bought a few here and there and they have always been cheap and light weight. I LOVED this entire video. Thanks as always ❤
When dealing with cone baskets to plant put the in a bucket that will hold them. Easy peasy😊
9:04 Hey, Jenny 👋🏼. If you put the planter in a bucket while you fill it, it won’t tip over. 😉
Can you please leave the link for the wrought iron hanger? Great video! Thank you so much!
Good Morning! Question about the biotone. I've been planting up somethings and I forgot to add in the biotone starter. Is that something I can add down into the soil later or should it only be added when everything is first planted? Thank you so much!
I have several Kinsman Garden planters. Ordering the window baskets next. Not sure about the conical shaped one. Yet to be determined…
You wore the right color go pot up the dreamsicyle, Jenny.
You colour coordinated your shirt with the hanging basket by the chicken coop 😊
Great video! Good information. Question: Will putting screws into a tree for a hanger, will that kill the tree? I really want to put baskets on a tree in our yard, but I'm hesitant .
Hey Jenny! What will you be using this year for aphids, lace bugs, flies, and other pests? I’m trying to prevent an infestation, I’m get them every year on my petunias. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Excited to be getting my flowers from Creekside!
I was thinking of the method you used for the aqua planter…if you’d used that for the hanging planter it probably would have need easier. …just a thought!
Good morning, for the conical basket could you use a round 5 gallon bucket to set it into? Just a thought, have a great day and stay safe.
Can you put the pointed container down in a 5 gallon bucket for fertilizing and planting?
❤
5 gallon bucket would be perfect for watering the conical planter if it gets dried out. Some Silver Falls Dichondra would have been cute in it to.
Hi Jenny So excited to see your conical planter Bought one a few years ago already planted. It was so full and beautiful. Used the planter for 3+ years and replanted each year. It was so lovely and haven't found another planter. I used to use a five gallon bucket to hold planter for planting and soaking (watering etc ). Worked very well for me. I'm now on the search for those hanging baskets! Thanks so much for all you show us! The wedding venue is going to be beautiful!
Was there a link for the last hanging basket you filled? I absolutely love it!
It’s in the video description 😁
The conical basket will fit in a 5-gallon bucket if you need to do a deep soak.
What's stopping the soil from coming out the drain hole on the last planter?
The whole is not that big 😁
a tiny blooper video of you turning the hose on yourself at the end of the video , would have been quite entertaining lol
Jenny plating without her gloves. 😂
Good morning! I looked to see in your store for a hat with your logo and didn't see one. Is that a product I can't order? I just ordered a knee pad from Laura's site and wanted something from you. My two favorite garden ladies. Actually, the only two I watch daily. 😊
No, we have them available online. Here’s the link! Thank you❣️ gardeningwithcreekside.com/products/creekside-hat
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thanks
Will you be shipping the already grown caladiums online?
Not this year
🙋
Hi 👋 Jenny
Am I the only one who cringes at the bags and bags of potting soil and compost and land and sea that are used in planting pots and no "native soil" used? Yes, I am a penny pincher and watch every penny, but I have to use leftover soil whenever I can..........maybe my plants won't look perfect but I have to do it. The bags of soil are terribly expensive for me.
My native soil is red clay and that would be disastrous to use in a pot.
❤
