Recipe Courtesy : • How to make Pita Bread...
Ingredients
Maida -1cup
Wheatflour -1/2cup
Instant Yeast -1/2tsp
Lukewarm water -1/2cup plus 2tbsp
Salt-
Sugar -1tbsp
Oil-1 tbsp
Method
Take 1/2 glass of warm water and add ½ tsp yeast + 1 tbsp sugar. Keep aside for 10 mins.
Take a bowl and add 1 glass off maida and ½ glass of Atta. Add salt.mix well. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the yeast mixture.
Now add everything together and knead a dough. Knead for 15 mins. Add 1 tbsp of maida and knead again for 10 mins.
Keep it for resting for 2 hours after applying olive oil on the top of the dough. Close it with a cloth and then a lid.
Make small balls of the dough. Roll it to small rotis. Fry it on a tawa for 2 minutes each side.
