The math for the Coyotes is even worse than I thought. I forgot they only have 41 home games, so the revenue is only 16 MILLION for the whole year. PATHETIC!
Wow, that's actually sad.
Incredibly sad... I am now stunned...
This franchise is on the brink of collapse.
@@ResoluteMujigae HOUSTON AEROS 2023-24
If the Arizona Coyotes sold out every home game, their revenue would be less than Christian Kirk's annual salary
You forgot one thing about Dan Snyder: the fact that under his ownership, he allowed that the cheerleaders be forced to do nudes and forced to being escorts on that fateful trip to Costa Rica.
In my personal opinion I think we need more Antarctica sports teams.
An Iceberg for a cap logo would be nice, With a Penguin mascot as well
Agreed. Greenland is also an untapped market and could be their rivals.
Jerry can have Greenland. Snyder can take Antarctica
Been saying this for 3 1/2 years.
Like ur vids also maybe one in north Alaska
I must be missing something...multiply by 41 games, rather than 81, since half the games are on the road?
oh crap you're right!
lol!
@@FivePointsVids MLB teams have 81 home games, that might be what you were thinking of. No worries.
Though if anything that makes the finances even worse.
Surprised the blazers weren't mentioned. I have no worries of them moving. I especially don't see the NBA moving their only PNW team, especially one with avid fan support and 50 years of history. That said with paul allen passing and jody allen clearly not giving af about the team, it will be sold sooner or later. Phil knight is wanting to buy, which would be a massive improvement. No one here likes jody allen.
I was thinking the same given the situation with the blazers and Seahawks. May be wrong, but I read that Allen’s Trust wanted both teams to be sold within 10 years of his death. Don’t think either would leave their respective markets, but curious to see who buys them and what direction the new owners take with the franchises
A Phil Knight owned team would be interesting. With the wacky uniforms Oregon football has worn the last two decades could you imagine what he'd do without anyone telling him no?
@@giraffegeorge8142 No way the Seahawks leave Seattle. The NFL loves them as the team of the entire Pacific Northwest that includes also Oregon and even British Columbia. Plus (someone can confirm) all Seahawk games are shown on the local Vancouver, BC tv or sports station as well.
@@americangiant1003 That's over stating how much people love the seahawks. Portland has no affection for seattle other than being a neighboring rival. Portland also doesn't care about football much. The biggest sports here are basketball and soccer by a long shot. Seahawks just get the PNW football fans that are left over because we don't have enough interest to support an NFL team.
@@Jarekthegamingdragon I assume you probably right on Portland not been that much into the NFL. My whole point was generally for majority of the Pacific Northwest the Seahawks are the most popular NFL team for the region. I did not mean every city in Oregon mainly Portland. And plus how Portland is the most different in terms of sports team compared to the rest of America, the NFL and especially the Seahawks might be the 4th most popular team. Behind the Trail Blazers, the MLS club and even Oregon Ducks College Football team.
As much as everyone assumes the Kings want to move out, that's just very unlikely to be the case short term. Everyone forgets that they just opened a new arena in 2017, and a high quality one at that. Then again, they're so irrelevant I bet a lot of you didn't know that til now.
Golden1 arena teamed up with 50 cent super dope for the city of treeees
Being in the same market as the current dynasty team really hurts tho and I’m not sure how you could combat that
@@tbird8166 True but I doubt that arena lease has an easy out.
Winning fixes everything, they will put a winner on the court eventually, look at what the Sun's did with their rebuild, nobody thought they could come back to relevance.
Kings aren’t moving anytime soon, they still sell out home games and the fan base is extremely loyal, fans are not gonna let this team go
Moving the Saints out of new orleans will 100% result in a bloody riot.
No one will care if the pelicans leave.
Might stop watching football if the Saints leave as a Saints fan. It won't be the same dunking on the Falcons if they aren't in New Orleans
@@snoopie2253 New Orleans without the Saints is straight up blasphemy. Straight up, might as well stop rolling Mardi Gras parades at that point. Close all the bars at midnight like this is Fat City. 🤢 🤮
Edit: Mad props to Five Points for being the guy who pointed out that Atlanta's billion dollar stadium has a butthole for a roof. ✊
Lol I would say you have it backwards
@@noelramirez1551 😂😂😂 wtf
@@thepolarphantasm2319 I mean the pelicans have a good team and the saints are in rebuild mode
Saints will eventually have new owners, but considering they just inked a 20 year deal with Caesars, the franchise won’t be leaving town anytime soon…. The pelicans are in a very different position, luckily they have an extremely competitive team right now which may bring in enough fans on a regular basis to justify keeping them in town, but it wasn’t all that long ago they had one of the lowest attendance numbers in the league, so hopefully they can keep a good team on the floor where fans will want to continue supporting the team
The pelicans aren’t even that bad on attendance though. They usually come in 20th to 25th they’ve got a better five year average than the timberwolves hornets cavaliers pacers kings thunder spurs magic pistons
Gayle Benson ain’t selling unless she says so.
Gayle benson not getting rid of neither team
Problem is, New Orleans is riddled with crime. BLM has caused the blacks to go wild, and the city is as liveable as LAgos.

So a little additional info on why the Lerners are looking to sell the Nationals.
Their primary business over the years has been building office buildings and leasing office space. This business was hit hard by the pandemic with many businesses allowing more employees to work remotely, and thus having less of a need for office space.
Add to this the lack of baseball revenue from ticket sales, and the MASN deal which screws them over at every turn (and under which they are still owed over $100 million in unpaid revenue) and the family's finances have taken a huge hit over the past few years.
That said, it's hard to feel too sorry for them, given that they're sitting on a $2B asset, though finding a buyer for the team will likely prove challenging.
I feel as though if someone else buys the Nationals, they aren't staying in DC.
It's Lerners or bust the district
Gonna be even more challenging now that they traded away the only player driving ticket and merchandise sales
@@MarloSoBalJr Only group I heard of that might buy them is a tag team ownership group of Ted Leonsis and Billionaire David Rubeinstien. If that happens, they would probably fit in with Monumental Sports and Entertainment. They would keep them in DC.
I'd love the irony of the Bronfman family buying it and moving them back.
@@rockvilleraven More importantly the team needs a stable local cable network like NBC SportsNet or even Bally Sports. I’m sure Sinclair would love to have a sports network in the mid-Atlantic region.
The Kings aren’t gonna move any time soon, they just opened a new arena in 2016.
Honorable mention: sources tell me the springfield isotopes want to move to Albuquerque
You know me. Occasionally I'll be quirky.
I live in Springfield, but havent heard this!
Better check ✔️ with Homer.
Though I don't know if this would technically fit, Ottawa Senators team probably will be sold with Melnyk passing, but it literally would just be moving from Kanata to downtown Ottawa, so the team would be staying in the same area really
It would be like when the Lions moved out of the Silverdome in Pontiac for Ford Field in Downtown Detroit and ditto with the Pistons moving from the Palace at Auburn Hills to Little Caesars Arena (again in Downtown Detroit): they tried the suburbs, yet at the same time, alienated their core demographic (people who actually live in the city, yet do not own an automobile). Unless one is lucky to have very good and extensive mass transit like Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, LA, SF, Portland, or Seattle, stadiums and arenas outside of the city proper will not work.
I think the senators already have a plan to build a stadium in LeBreton Flats approved by the city
The Sens are finally, eventually moving to downtown Ottawa (We won the bid for Lebreton) but there is still a lot to be done before ground is broken.
Since he has passed, Eugene Melnyk’s daughters (both in their early 20s) have stepped to the plate and done a very nice job. The changes they have made to the front office have been great and the organization seems to be trying to mend their relationships with people in the city that may have felt alienated during Eugene’s tenure. The team feels like a professional sports organization again.
Seems like even if the girls sell, they are gonna want to maintain some sort of stake in this team. Honestly I have no problem with this team staying Melnyk-owned as long as they keep doing what they’ve been doing since being in charge.
I was at one of the first Ottawa Senators games when it was still the Palladium (for what, 2-3 weeks?) and thinking what an amazing arena it is but who the bloody hell decided on this location? It is literally in the middle of an office park surrounded by parking lots. Ottawa has a nice downtown area, very walkable even in the dead of winter, and is a beautiful city. I get that land is cheap out in the middle of nowhere, but that was a trek to get out there. I'm glad to hear that the downtown proposal passed because sometimes those outer suburban arenas don't make it in the long run - think how far it was to travel to, say a Florida Panthers or Arizona Coyotes game.
In Madden 08 I would always relocate my team to Alaska just for the hell of it
I did the same with Albuquerque or Hawai'i...I miss that mode.

No mention of the Sacramento Kings’ new arena (Golden 1 Center) they opened in 2016, or the fact that they agreed to a 35-year lease to remain in Sacramento back in 2014?
Doesn’t fit the narrative, so why mention it?
Then again. It's Sacramento.
This guy didn’t even mention the progress the A’s and Coyotes have made in their respective markets
@@lanevalhalla9344 I haven’t been following the Coyotes, but it’s kind of laughable how most sports UA-camrs are acting like the A’s to Vegas is a sure thing when Oakland is way further along. The A’s are literally one binding vote away with the City of Oakland this fall to getting a ballpark built in Jack London Square. I’m not expecting these channels to be following Oakland City Council meetings whatsoever, but you’d think there are shovels in the ground in Vegas the way these videos are presented lol
@@fammithommproductions Sacramento's metro area has 2.4 million people.
Hey, slight issue with the Yotes entry. They have raised their ticket prices EXPONENTIALLY to compensate for the smaller arena. I can’t find a single seat lower than around $300 or so.
JEEBUS
Considering it will be mostly away fans might as well cash in
Winnipeg wouldn't feel so bad having the smallest arena to play professional hockey
@@sokonek1 I think Season tickets are about sold out/completely sold out. Not much room for away fans unless they pay for it.
That's cute that they think they're worth 300 bucks a game
The TrailBlazers and Seahawks may be sold soon. Phil Knight offered 2 billion for the trailblazers
Phil would keep blazers in Portland
how the Commanders haven’t been sold yet baffles me
The three constants of life: death, taxes, and Dan Snyder.
Commanders? Ahh. You mean Redskins 2.0.
Dan Snyder hasn’t said the N word yet, that’s why.
relocate the Commies to west coast and get a new franchise in DC with a name fans like
@@maxxc7534 You know DC is a very blue area right? They don’t need to go to the West Coast.
The Kings bit aged pretty badly. They're doing super well right now
When it comes to MLS:
Teams that might get a new home:
NYCFC has 2 places they might move and finally move out of Yankee stadium
New England revolution might move to Everett, MA and move out of Gillette.
Hopefully these become reality instead of being smoke and mirror like the last set of new SSS for these teams
Honorable Mention: San Jose Earthquakes needing a new owner. #FisherOut
NYCFC in ideal world, would move "down the block" to the old Bronx Terminal Market near Hunts Point Ave. For those of you not from the NYC area, it's only a couple of miles from Yankee Stadium and also near the George Washington, RFK Triboro and Whitestone Bridges. Plus the #6 NYC subway line provides direct access from the East Side of Manhattan.
Or an alternative site could even be in Brooklyn in the Sunset Park neighborhood, only a few miles from Barclays/Nets NBA arena as well. Sunset Park has both the subway access i.e the "D" "N" and "R" routes. Plus the BQE aka Brooklyn-Queens Expressway as well assuming it's for only an 20-25k seat soccer stadium field.
I think the fire could move it a new stadium if the bears stay
NY Red Bulls: an energy drink company whos owner don’t care and is a right wing ass kisser
The Krafts have mismanaged the Revolution for years. Playing at Gillette is a joke.
Great vid, but we have to be honest here. The odds of the Kings moving anytime soon is almost zero. Great fanbase and the 4th newest stadium in the league (and one of the absolute best arenas, if you've never been). History shows most relocations happen because of arena disputes, and that isn't a thing in Sac right now. Owners allowing that move, and the Kings asking for it in the first place, just ain't gonna happen.
They are definitely not moving. Their attendance this year was comparable to the Pacers, Thunder, and Spurs. Neither of those three teams are in relocation talks. Especially the Thunder who play in one of the worst arenas.
@@G-546 Admittedly this is some tin foil hat stuff (and a lot of Hungry Hungry Homer memes), but the San Antonio Spurs made a lot of new logos this past offseason, including the spur on the state of Texas, which the center of the spur is on... Austin. Also, the "SATX" logo. It's easy to just drop the "S" 😆
(Remember when the Minnesota North Stars changed their N-Star logo to just be "STARS", and a couple years later they didn't have to change a thing when they moved to Dallas? Same paranoid thinking)
Honorable mention is Manchester United. Ever since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, it’s become ever more clearer that Glazer family, no matter how much they’ve tried to meddle, don’t understand how to run and operate one of the most historical and cherished soccer/football clubs in the world. And with how horribly the team has started off this Premier League season despite once again having Ronaldo, it’s all the more apparent that no matter who the club puts in the lineup, hires as a manager, or hires in the front office, the team will only continue to fall further off the cliff so long as the Glazers hold any ownership stake in the team. F you Glazers; sell the team!
oh fr the reality is the team is not even the main problem it's the ownership they don't know wth they are doing and are solely interested in exploiting our past success to farm the team for money and let's not forget how badly they have neglected our stadium Old Trafford it has gotten so badly it's genuinely possible it could be torn down and a new stadium could be built which would be Sacrilege to Football * The English Football
Glazers make a lot of money from United while putting little to no money into the club. They’re not selling it anytime soon unless all sponsors pull funding, or their merch and tickets stop selling. Relegation also might lead to a sale due to how much less money they make.
Who cares it's soccer.

I hope the commanders get sold but I don’t want the Nats being sold Ted Lerner lives in my neighborhood and is a really nice guy
The Commanders need to be liberated from that sexist buffoon. Somebody (single owner or an ownership group) needs to scoop up the Commanders and get them out of that dump known as FedEx Field, whether they go back into DC proper where RFK Stadium is now or to a new stadium in NoVA (and preferably where either a Metro line or VRE line is located). The Nationals need to stay, yet the owners need to not play games like the Florida/Miami Marlins have done with their two WS Champion teams (win WS, then conduct a 🔥 sale during the off-season).
Lerner is asking 3 billion for the Nat's so he really doesn't want to sell them. The Mets sold a couple years ago for just over 2 bil, so he's just throwing a crazy number out there.
@@myleftthumb2294 Fred Wilpon really didn't have much of a choice in regards to the Mets. His association with Bernie Madoff is what tarnished his reputation. He was just lucky to not deal with a Commissioner along the likeness of Kennesaw Mountain Landis, who would have outright banned Wilpon for the association alone.
I’ve been a lifelong Orioles fan, I don’t know what I’d ever do without a team at that gorgeous palace
Not to worry. The resurgent Orioles aren’t going anywhere.
"Hiring a coach without telling him" just reminded me, you could have a lot of fun with a video on contract shenanigans in F1 and Indycar lately, once the dust settles. @@kevhead1525 Nah he'll get some of the money for, you know... But yeah he's a shareholder too.
I don’t see the kings relocating for a while. Mostly due to the fact that they play in a brand new publicly funded stadium and the fact that they are the only team in Sacramento which makes public funding likely.
The final with Jones… EPIC!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Love Cowboybulying
Worked at the Vegas Ballpark for a summer. Honestly, I’m not sure if they would be able to support an MLB there. They can definitely upgrade it up to par, but the location is an issue too. It’s in Summerlin, Nevada which is a nice location but it’s definitely contested and snug right in a spot that would have to have some renovations to be able to get that ballpark + bars & restaurants feel (I like comparing it to Coors Field. That whole area is awesome). Also, there’s a couple lots that have been opened up on the “strip”. I use air quotes because it’s technically on the strip, same road as the raiders roomba, but not in the same area. Think down the road, in a shittier part of the city, still nice, but closer to downtown (near Circus Circus for those who’ve been)
The Kings barely moved into their new downtown Sacramento arena a few years ago. They aren’t likely to move any time soon, if ever.
The Kings should be forced to move because they infringed upon the Warriors' territory, then the Kings should pay indemnities to the Warriors retroactive to 1985. David Stern was hoodwinked by Kevin Johnson into keeping the team in Suckramento. Joe Lacob needs to tell the Kings to fuck off to somewhere else.
Juan Soto is an incredible player, sad to see him leave the nationals but I will keep rooting for him
I wish Bryce Harper never left the Nationals.
Just the thought of the O's moving is shocking. It would be like if the Cardinals or Pirates moved.
It's family infighting that is causing this ripple effect. One half of the Angelos wanna keep them in Baltimore; the other (one brother) wants to move to Nashville.
I'm just wishing that family sell the damn team and move-on.
@@MarloSoBalJr i cant handle a second relocation like the colts imaoooo
I'd say that major pro sports could very well have just gotten way too big for its briches. Teams are bady overvalued, and there are very very VERY few with both the money and the interest to buy a team, whether they want to move said team, or keep it where it's at.
The most surprising thing I've learned from this video is that Arizona State has a hockey team.
LMAO! Well this will blow your mind too: they play in the Big Ten! Imagine THAT road schedule!
@@inconnu4961 Closest to the Big Ten the Sun Devils will get. They're praying the Big 12 throws them a lifeline for their other sports.
@@DNSKansas With the new arena they just opened at ASU. I bet they will be joining the National Collegiate Hockey Conference soon. It’s the biggest hockey conference in the Western part of the USA with teams like North Dakota, Minnesota-Duluth & Univ. Of Denver (reigning national champions). Arizona State has actually done pretty well since making the jump to the NCAA D1 Level in 2015.
4:14 The Bears buying the Arlington racetrack came with the provision that they would not have ANY negotiation regarding a stadium or renovation elsewhere. Ergo, once they bought it, they said, on pain of breach of contract, we'll just ignore the Mayor
I think the McCaskey's plan is to move, sell the team and pay off the remainder of the lease on Soldier Field. If they sell for the estimated $5 billion, it would probably be more with a new stadium, they still will be quite wealthy.
@@billbeliakoff5589 They then can't pound their chests that they own something (broadly) only 31 other entities on earth have, but ...

Another banger by FivePoints, good work
Appreciate it!
I swear to God, I would lose my mind if the Orioles left Baltimore. Yes, they have had losing seasons in 19 of the last 24 years but still . .
Thats loyalty, bar none! Only the Pirates are longer suffering! LOL
You can look forward to more losing seasons once Rutschman and company price themselves out of town.
Where I think they should all go:
Kings - Vegas (Seattle can get an Expansion team so they can revive the Sonics name)
A’s - Vegas or Portland (Assuming Portland has a good stadium.
Yotes - Houston (Because the 4th largest city in America having All Big 4 sports just makes sense, also they can keep the Coyotes name since Houston has had a Booming Coyote population apparently)
The Pelicans and Orioles should stay put though.
Kings just got a new arena with a 35 year lease like 5 years ago. Don’t think they’re going anywhere anytime soon.
Las Vegas will be out of water in less than 10 years. The A’s would be nuts to move to that desert hellhole!
New Orleans is too impoverished to support an NBA team. It was that way before Katrina and it's still that way.
And you are dead wrong about Houston. Texas only needs one NHL team. The NHL should turn the Stars into a Texas franchise with them playing home games in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
Shocked that you didn’t include The Pirates as a team that needs to be sold
The lease at PNC Park expires at the end of the decade so I think they’re looking to contend by then so that they’re on good terms with the city and are capable of getting a new deal.
@@justinmaybach6388 they aren’t leaving the city, just needs new owners
Good video, and it had two unexpected things I really liked. Unexpected sound bites by UrinatingTree and Vincent Price. Reminded me of the one good Vincent Price story I have. I used to work with a guy who years before had scored a ticket to a luncheon honoring Vincent Price. He showed up and did the luncheon thing, then hung around with fans afterwards. Since the luncheon was over, Vincent told ribald stories and swore like a sailor, and everyone was laughing. I missed out on all the good stuff.
Thats a pretty cool story. Price was a national treasure.
@@FivePointsVids Yes he was. That job was my first foray into the corporate world, and even though the rules stunk. the people I worked with on the floor were pretty good. The guy who told me the story I had been warned to stay away from, because he was weird. I laughed and said, "I'm weird, too.", and we had lots of conversations over the seven years I worked there.
His dad had been high up in the Air Force, wo when we worked together, we talked about UFO's for hours on end. Even talked about The Men in Black and what branch of the service they belonged to. Kings aren't moving to Seattle, NBA is going to add 2 expansion teams in a couple years, 1 in Seattle, 1 in Vegas
If things don't change in the NBA adding teams may be a losing proposition. The ratings are crap. Attendance is going down every season. They messed up when they called their white Blue Collar fans racist.
Move the A’s back to Philadelphia.
We can definitely handle two teams again!

The Coyotes brought it upon themselves by not paying rent in Glendale. Hockey works in the Phoenix area ownership just has to get its shit together. People thought football didn't work there but since the Cards got their shot together they confession out.

Gary Bettman keeping the Coyotes in Arizona is one of sports' biggest screw-ups.
The Coyotes have always been a trainwreck. They should've moved back to Winnipeg and Atlanta found a new Thrashers owner
Rent free
They Coyotes would be better off going to Quebec and become the Nordiques again (provided that the Colorado Avalanche approves of the name change).
You can blame Jim Balsille and Jerry Moyes for that trainwreck. The NHL had to do something to protect their gatekeeping policy of who is and who isn't an NHL owner. Balsille getting awarded that team would have ripped the anti-trust monopoly of moving teams apart, similar to Al Davis' doings in the NFL back in the 80s.
@@rwboa22 no they should move houston not quebec. Moving to quebec fucks up all of the damn alignments and they aren't doing that again.
“Mayor Beetlejuice” 🤣😭🤣😭
How about a video on soccer promotion and relegation in a North America (MLS, USL, etc.). Could it work here and what could it look like?
Probably wouldn't work because the owners would never go for it.
This is particularly the case as the MLS teams are all owned by their league and merely operated by investors from each team who might practically look like owners but ultimately aren't. Pro/Rel would fundamentally require a switch to independently owned teams on top of convincing rich people to voluntarily add risk to the value of their asset (the team). Unless SCOTUS rules that the MLS violates anti-trust legislation (which is highly unlikely regardless of the court's composition) and requires pro/rel to satisfy concerns of monopoly (even more unlikely) it's just not gonna happen.
@@kevinreilly51 the only thing I could see happening is MLS doing it internally. As they expand creating an MLS2 and having super limited pro/rel just between the two leagues
Go to Congress. Offer a professional anti-trust exemption to US Soccer (not MLS) if promotion and relegation are instituted, with the created leagues pretty much answering to the federation. And this will shake out a lot of owners. In some cases, that’s a good thing.
Not holding my breath, not betting on it, but the whole “keep politics out of sports” spiel was always bunk anyway.
Won’t happen cause MLS wants to be like the other major pro leagues.

You can add the Baltimore Ravens to the team that will likely be sold. Steve Biscoti said in a recent interview he has no plans on making the team a family business. He's in his 60s so I wouldn't be surprised if he puts the team up for sale in the next 5 years and having a 5 year period where new management comes in and learns the ropes. Similar to what Steve did when he bought the team from art model. He did a great interview with Marlon Humphrey on studio 44.
Steve biscotti is not selling the Ravens
With rumors the NBA is going to grant expansion franchises to Seattle and Las Vegas (Mistake in my opinion as this market risks oversaturation with Raiders & Golden Knights being rather new in town). I think the Sacramento Kings may eventually be sold, and moved back home (to Kansas City), by an ownership group which includes Patrick Mahomes). Makes more sense, with its previous history in Kansas City, than moving the Pelicans to KC, which would be another consideration.
The situation in Phoenix with the Coyotes is laughable, but that is another team that has previously been rumored for Kansas City, but I think NBA/NHL are destined to be in KC, but thinks the NBA makes the most sense long term, with a dominant college basketball program, University of Kansas being within 45 minutes of downtown KC, as the National College Basketball HoF being located along sider the Sprint Center.
I do find it laughable after packing up the Expos, and moving to DC, the nationals are on this list... Matter a fact, you have the Orioles, Nationals, & Commanders all on this list, within commute of the Nation's Capital, while also having the two New Orleans Professional Franchises, which have the same owner. Looking into a crystal ball, within 10 years, I see Seattle and Las Vegas being granted expansion franchises in the NBA, the Kings moving to Kansas City, and the Pelicans moving to Louisville. That would fix alot of the NBA issues. NHL (Coyotes), I can see eyeing several cities, Houston, Kansas City, Quebec to name a few. MLB (Orioles, A's, & Nationals) I can see on the short list of locations, Nashville, Montreal, Portland, (excluding Vegas, due to over saturation concerns mentioned above. NFL (Saints, Commanders, & Bears), I doubt any team leaves their current metro area, although if the Saints are allowed to relocate, I would expect San Antonio, San Diego & St. Louis to try throw their hat in the ring. I would favor San Antonio, since the others have just recently lost NFL franchises already.
As I was reading your comment I was waiting for you to mention louisville.
I personally think they will have a nba franchise within the next decade as well.
The commanders one aged well
Let's be real, I still don't know what made the NHL grant a franchise/team to Arizona, hockey isn't really a very big sport in my home state.
The Bears should NOT leave Chicago, it is such an iconic franchise and city
Well the players and coaches don’t want to fucking die so…
I wish the Oakland/Las Vegas Athletics (A’s) were sold to Joe Lacob.
If Camden Yards is ever made vacant by a move to another city I'm fine with ending baseball forever. Because the only thing baseball still has going for it (and I'm a huge fan) is it's connection to history. Camden Yards managed to bridge the gap between baseball's glory years (20-50s) and modernity. If you love to Nashville you are telling people "we are just MLS with more games."
Then again, baseball already put the knife to dozens of minor league teams so...nothing would surprise me.
As to the Chargers...yes, please say the line.
I live in Tn and the word i have heard is that the cleveland Indians/Guardians are the team going to Nashville - I would not be too worried about the Orioles
@@pjpredhomme7699 Given the stadium issues, it could be a toss-up with Tampa making the move. But the Montreal talk just won't die. But as much as Cleveland just lives to rag on the Indians/Guardians, it would rip the soul out of the city if they left. Just like the Browns and now they've been left with this pale imitation for two decades now.
The sell upon death jokes funny af
I laughed so hard when Tree's "F you Spanos" played.

As a die hard Commanders fan, you are SO RIGHT!! I've been wanting Dan to sell since the Albert Haynesworth debacle.

"Mayor Beetlejuice"
And I'm dead.
Calling it: Coyotes are traded for a bag of Doritos and a copy of Wii Sports
Could see the Ottawa Senators be sold in the next few years. Owner just died, his daughters are running the team, they're bringing in talented players and possibly have a new arena on the rise. The Melnyk Girls could sell high and recoup the money lost during when their dad was a cheapskate!
I'm a Lions fan. The Bears not playing in Chicago would be weird. Something about it bothers me. When the Lions moved back to Detroit it was awesome. Certain good feeling about it.
Let me leave you with this thought...Omaha Lions...🤔
@@luisreyes1963 Nah. I don't like it.
@@luisreyes1963 Would be cool if they got a team though.
I'm surprised the Tampa Bay Rays weren't on this list. I live here in Tampa, and every other day, there is a rumor that the Rays are moving or getting a new stadium.
They WERE on the list!
@@inconnu4961 Maybe I skimmed through the video too fast! Makes sense! 😂
Las Vegas Ballpark would be a temporary ballpark for the A's or whatever Expansion team we get. We have 4 shovel ready sites on the strip and in the suburbs for a new Domed facility. Construction companies have already been chosen and Raw materials are ready to be ordered. But Las Vegas Ballpark cannot be upgraded as a permanent MLB facility.
Where would you put a 20k+ seat baseball stadium? The only place I could think of is on the north side of the strip. But I don’t think they would build one over there. I don’t think there’s enough space for a new stadium anywhere in vegas. The only place would be on the outskirts
Poor Pelicans. They've finally put together a young, exciting core that has a shot at making a few deep runs over the next couple of years, but it's basically too late to justify a new lease
Blame Zion, the dude continues to get fat and injured while refusing to greet new teammates the team adds. The dude is an expensive bust.
well new orlens just insent a basketball town with minimal support from fans and their arena is probably the worst in the nba with city not wanting to build or majorly improve it and when there are cities like seatlle where they would be loved from day one and las vegas where well nba is destined to have a team by the end of the decade, honestly i dont see much point of having a team there
As a pelicans fan we have just started to truly settle in give us a few year i think we will be good
And the smoothie king center is also by far the smallest arena in the leauge making it unattractive to owners
I go to pelicans games they’re a ton of fun. Smoothie king center is really nice and next door to the SuperDome. Easy parking or Uber. Also miss benson may be a crook idk but I doubt she will ever sell it
Hey Five, you’ve been listening to us call Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Mayor Beatlejuice!!! You’re awesome!!!!!
it's very known lol
@@FivePointsVids Indeed!!! No one likes her. She pissed off all the Chicago Police officers and firefighters here as well as the other city workers. She’s ruining the city everyday.

Here's hoping the Bears make a deal with Arlington, IL and the Commanders make a deal with Arlington, VA so we can have three NFC teams based in Arlington

The SACRAMENTO Kings aged wel

This was good!
You mentioned the Coyotes possibly moving to Quebec City. I love the idea of Quebec City getting a team again but if that happens we all know my Red Wings are getting dragged back to the Western Conference kicking and screaming
The Ottawa Senators would more likely move to Quebec City.
@@MidKid61 Ottawa has an approved site and plan to build an arena in downtown Ottawa. Bettman fucked around and found out about messing with Canadian teams it won’t happen
Everything that I have heard was: There is ZERO chance that Quebec will get an NHL team! We would have a better chance of bringing the Hartford Whalers back!
@@bigsauce6645 We've heard this before with Ottawa. I'll believe it when shovels are actually in the ground.
@@jeffmacd1972 have we though? Not in my lifetime
An NBA team should either move to Seattle, or the league should expand there.
It would be nice to see the Super Sonics back in Seattle.
I’ve always been surprised that hockey in the desert hasn’t been able to catch on and thrive. There’s so many affluent areas in the PHX area, where I would think folks would like to cool off. I don’t even think it’s the sport itself since it’s been able to thrive in similar southern territories like Vegas, Anaheim, and Tampa.
Any thoughtful explanations out there from locals please feel free to chime in on this
I live in Buckeye AZ and usually attend one or two hockey games a season. From what I've heard and read, the biggest obstacle has been the Glendale location. If they build that new arena near the airport, supposedly that will solve attendance problems. I believe their lack of success here is more a result of the screwed-up ownership in the past 12 years, and never really putting a winning playoff team on the ice. I would have thought that with the high number of residents here who have moved from somewhere else, many of them northern hockey type cities, would come out to see NHL hockey. We do get a bump in attendance from Canadian snowbirds, but that isn't really building a fan base. So, let's see what happens if #1- they start to put a competitive team on ice, and-#2- get to build that new arena in Tempe near Sky Harbor, easily accessible to the East Valley. If this doesn't work, hello Houston!
@@mab31347 NHL won't let that franchise leave the state. They've been ensuring it hasn't for over a decade now by investing money into the team themselves. The market is absolutely there. The problem has really been the shitty ownership
Mayor Beetlejuice. LMFAO
As a Bears fan I can't WAIT to move em out to Arlington it's gonna be the start of a great new age
@Robert J It's not gonna get torn down.
So long as the McCaskeys own the Bears, they’re still going to be bad.
It's going to be a long time until 2026 or 2027 the world might end by then
I don’t care what happens, Seattle needs a basketball team
Seattle and Vegas will probably be the two expansion teams while NOLA and Memphis get moved to the Eastern conference.
Nah, bring back the Buffalo Braves
Minnesota Timberwolves will be moving there because of A Rod's Seattle connections
Surprised you didn’t mention the Rays cause it looks more and more likely they will move to Montreal
Current price to see the Yotes play, in the new 5000 seat arena, theyre charging $600 a ticket. ridiculous.
Kings arnt going anywhere. They have a relatively new arena. They dont sell out, but still draw well. If the owner stops getting in the way or sells them the Kings can get good like 90's early 2000's when they sold out night after night.
Thanks for providing a correct and differing opinion while not insulting me. As someone who gets insulted harshly for every little incorrect thing I say, I appreciate it.
@@FivePointsVids This reply is terrible and you should feel bad.
They also have a 35 year agreement with the city and can't move, so there's that.
Pelicans not going nowhere bro… its called geography .the closet big city to New Orleans is houston . 3 hours away! Meaning Louisiana and Mississippi play a huge part of the pelican’s fan base. In 2007-09 we were in a attendance clause and met the requirements. Our team is finally getting back to where we started
It’s been 17 years since Katrina and we’ve steady recovered New Orleans Baton Rouge and Biloxi form a triangle that is the same size as Harris county (Houston) and has almost as many people in it.
Idk where your getting your information from but the Saints or Pelicans aren’t going anywhere. The Superdome as we speak is getting renovated and just inked a new naming rights deal with Caesars. Despite the poor record of the Pelicans we’re always ranked between 18th & 25 and with the playoffs run last season the Pelicans have already sold out
I wouldn’t even bother with him. The guy has something against New Orleans sports. Saints and Pelicans aren’t going anywhere lmfao
Mayor Beetlejuice, lmao
I’m still shocked the Coyotes didn’t move to Seattle, and they needed to add a new team to the league! Canada should be first in line for a new/moving team in the NHL.
I do not understand the NHL's stubbornness in keeping the Coyotes in Phoenix, but a 5K seat arena seems like a bad joke, and makes them look bush league.
@@mjbull5156 from what I understand, it's purely a matter of TV market. Arizona is a huge market, and it plays in the negotiations for the lucrative TV deals they have in place with people like ESPN. It's the same reason the NHL originally placed a team in North California in 1967. A team in Quebec City would be nice - I myself grew up in that region - but the NHL wouldn't gain much from basically splitting the Canadiens' market. There are two francophone sports channels in the province and they both pay an insane amount of money to basically split the games (one has the Saturday night games along with the playoffs and special events while the other has the 50/60-ish remaining games of the schedule)
Seattle already has a team
@@joesantana6429 it was an expansion team though.
@@estellegrignon Bettman loves all the southern teams. But he really loves Arizona.
From the "We know they're moving, the question is when" category there is the Minnesota Timberwolves. Once A-Rod has control the team is moving to Seattle, which means the Lynx will either have to relocate as well or fold since Seattle already has a WNBA team and the Lynx wouldn't be financially viable without the Timberwolves propping them up.
As a guy that lives in Minneapolis, nobody would care. There's just no energy around the Timberwolves. Target center is a dump and Glen Taylor is an idiot. They've been an embarrassment for most of their existence. We're not a basketball state anyway so they would have to win with some consistency if they wanna build a loyal fanbase.
Anyone could see this coming.
I still don't know why they would move to Seattle when the Supersonics were actually pretty good and they still lost their team, it's a dying city full of drugs and homeless people.
@@purplepunch4204 With all of the crime and murder in Minneapolis it's not exactly safe trying to go to a Timberwolves game. So you could make a solid argument that neither city should have a team, but considering A-Rod's ties to the Seattle area it's obvious that's where he'd plan to move the team.
@@faithful2thecall Minneapolis hasn't always been bad and the Timberwolves for the most part have been horrible and should've had a new venue a decade ago, You think Minneapolis is more dangerous than Chicago,Memphis,Detroit,Brooklyn or LA?
