It is beneficial, what he said. I applied it myself after I read something along the same lines from one of his books. To put it simply, one just gets tired of always acting and behaving according to the whims of the mind. It fluctuates so easily. And to know that my feelings and emotions are not some sacred part of me, or something special of my own that needs to embodied, I have embodied them enough. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that if you just want to cry, then don't, because crying is something bad. Cry if you want to. But even if you do cry, how long can you do it just because the mind is in a mood of it's own. So it's like that. And to know, that what I am feeling is only a byproduct of chemicals reacting with each other; it is as much a chemical phenomenon as it is raining outside; You know, if it is raining, it is raining. I won't stop eating just because it suddenly started raining (though one can decide to do so at times). So, it is as much sand, and dust, and stone, and rain as I see all around me. Mud and muck is not just outside on the ground, it is also inside dancing in my head. So I won't have to be too much bothered about them. Whenever the surge of anxiety, or fear comes up, it just strikes me that “It has started raining.” Yeah great, back to work. And I can just laugh at it's face. Not like a bully, but yeah, more like a friend. As in ,“O my dear mind, how predictable of you to be rattled right now! Come sit with me.” Or “ Too frustrated today, are you? How about we go for a walk after we finish this" So, yeah it kind of becomes fun after that. It isn't heavy on me anymore. I can extend a helping hand when I want to, or just ignore it when I feel the need. I am no more obliged to obey it all the time. I have no obligation to abide by it whenever it wants me to. Once you get the taste of being relieved of that burden, you would rarely want to take it and let it make you all heavy. So yeah, it helps. Knowing them for what they really are, not in a condescending way, but just plainly seeing it for what it is, really helps. One can still cry when they are frustrated, you won't all of a sudden be completely devoid of emotions. But that's all. You decide to sit and cry if you have that luxury, then wipe your tears and get back to what you were doing. Or just decide to put it aside if you are busy. Slowly you start to lose that misplaced attachment to it.

Ideally the mind should the brain in the sense that consciousness should exceed the body. I do not know if I am the pure self, but I am at least the observer of the happening. This much I can say with certainty. Something is happening. And if I am the observer, I cannot be the observed phenomena. So keep yourself at some distance from the observed phenomena. Your primitive tendencies will keep on pulling you back to the happening. No. Extricate yourself, pull yourself away. But the happening is just so attractive that you feel like becoming one with it again and again. You will see something happening, and you will know it is just happening, it is not happening to me.
Guruji , being in periods is the worst experience a women can have, the pain, the discomfort, the weakness,mood swings, sleeplessness and more over if u r working, or writing exam it creates obstruction, I don't know why god made period so difficult for females😡😡😡, no philosophy works in those times😔
