In all but a few minutes you'll be back to using your iPhone again :)

thank you...trick is to make sure that the software is fully downloaded , hence make sure your wifi is stable and strong because the software is 4.46GB...took us a while but it finally worked..thanks

it keeps turning back on and taking me back to the lock screen. this is my 4th time doing these steps :(
heads up people wait for the apple logo to pop up then hit up, down volume, power (hold)
to everyone who keeps saying they got put back on disabled while it was still downloading or when it was done. all you have to do is make sure the download is completly done and unplug the phone. then turn it off again and repeat steps

You can try taking out the sim card and going to your phones settings while connected to itunes and reseting them manually (Not factory reseting the iphone)
While I’m waiting to finish the extracting software. My phone turn back to disabled? What I’m gonna do ???
When it goes back to lock screen do the restore steps over again and when the connect to iTunes pops up press restore then restore and update then it should resume from your previous software update

What if you bought a disabled phone from someone and when you do this it needs their old apple information. Is there a way you can just skip that?

Try to do it again. If followed exactly then the "iPhone is disabled" will disappear.

My phone was timing out while still downloading from itunes, so I downloaded the ipsw file from online and then installed it on the phone from my hard drive--and now the phone's working! I did this three times. And it still ask for a password or it says disable for 15 mins. Then ask for the code again.

Extracting doesnt really move and by the time it does the phone turns back on
When it gets to the lock screen restart the recovery mode steps and then click on what is needed to restore and restore and update the phone then it should resume from your previous software update
The phone is stuck on setup with someone’s iCloud needing the password. I don’t know how to get past this part. I don’t know the original owner.

what combination of buttons did you press @1:14 to get the iTunes screen on the device? Volume Down + Power?
Volume up, Volume down, then hold power button then connect your phone to your pc

Don't dis connect the pH to the cable.
Turn off the phone again by holding volume down and power button. Repeat the steps from 1.5 from the video
