    The development of alternative methods of external parasite control in sheep has resulted in a dramatic reduction in the use of organophosphate and Cypermethrin sheep dip usage.
    However the rise of both anthelmintic resistant stomach worms and also in the UK macrocyclic lactone resistance sheep scab mites requires sheep farmers to rethink the strategy of using injectable macrocyclic lactones to control external parasites such as sheep scab and lice.
